- Speed - The ship is decently fast and very maneuverable, making it a perfect craft for patrolling. Alternatively, this allows it to maneuver around a battlefield, getting into the best possible position before its strikes
- Heavy Weapons - The ship is able to field fairly heavy weaponry, carrying both a long range turbolaser as well as quad turbolasers. This makes the ship pack quite a punch when travelling in groups
- Lightly armed - The ship carries some heavy weapons but they are few in number. The ship relies better on superior numbers to compensate for the lack of weapons on the ship.
- Exposed bridge - One major drawback of the ship is the exposed bridge which sticks out on a tower like structure. This makes it an obvious target for enemy ships and should the frigates shields go down the bridge becomes the most vulnerable part of the ship.
Dubbed the Wolf-Class, the Wolf is a pack hunter, relying on superior numbers to maximize its heavy weaponry. Like Wolves the ship is fast, able to maneuver around an enemy easily before simultaneously attacking to take down its prey. The ship fields few but heavy weaponry, using combined firepower to win engagements. The Wold itself is not stuck to relying on other Wolf-Class Frigates to act as 'pack' but instead most combat frigates work well with the Wolf, making it an easy choice to accompany combat fleets. When not hunting in a pack the ships fast engines and hyperdrive and it's long range turbolaser make it the perfect escort and pursuit ship, able to both catch-up and effectively disable most smaller craft.
