Even when the storms had died down, the numbing chill never left this planet. Very few people took such interest in this planet due to the scarce resources it might have, but the Sith Order still had to make their presence known for monitoring activities within the sector. Occasionally they had to deal with creatures who prowled on their tauntauns, but it was difficult to track as the culprit seemed to use the storms as cover.
”I don’t care if you freeze out there, you will find the source of our missing beasts, or I will give you a swift death that you desire.” A twi’lek man said in a low and threatening voice towards a dark haired woman with green eyes. His leku twitched out of annoyance as the woman before him had been rather bothersome for an Acolyte. Always testing his authority, and he swore that the pointy eared human was the source of rumors floating around. Rumors that had no base, yet they still lingered on everyone’s mind.
The outpost was built inside a network of caverns that shielded them from the blizzards that had become infrequent to say the least. The elven Acolyte merely presented a mock bow as she could feel his restless state of mind. His anger that constantly fueled his actions. It wasn’t time just yet, but she had every intention to make sure this Knight dies. Just… not yet. The timing wasn’t right, and she had to do it carefully or else she’d be executed by the full force of the Sith Order.
”As you say, just try not to look too disappointed on my return.” Cellica was perhaps a bit crass with her wording, but it wasn’t enough grounds for the Knight to strike at her. It only fueled his growing frustration with annoyance as he shook his head with a dismissive wave of his hand. She didn’t need to read his thoughts to know that he hoped that she didn’t come back as it would less of a headache.
Just as Cellica left the office and made her way over to her chamber. It was there that she came across a somewhat familiar face. Only by passing of course as Cellica never got a chance to talk with hardly anyone since Knight Xesh had her running around doing what should’ve been impossible tasks for anyone to pull off. Whether it was to retrieve missing survey logs that had fallen into a den of wompas, or venturing deep into the frozen wasteland to check on the survey beacons at specific locations to ensure they were working; and to fix them if need be. The latter might be simple, but the planet was unforgiving and has claimed several lives already.
”I’d give Lord Xesh a moment to collect himself. He seemed to be rather frazzled.” Cellica advised with her words flowing past her lips smooth as silk, her usual skin of golden hue from what could be seen had taken a pale complexion in contrast to the usual white and light blue lighting. It wasn’t exactly secret knowledge that Xesh didn’t like Cellica at all, not even a gram of likeness, but due to certain rules in place he couldn’t outright kill her since she was placed under his watch. Only time would tell if one of them should fall, and it was inevitable.
