Working with the Elements

Zenith Prime

Brushing a strand of hair behind her ear Keziah looked out on the lake. She loved this planet and not only because it was where she had met Calico. It was also beautiful and very peaceful. Not many came to the Temple here to train but she did. Keziah was here quite often actually but that was another story. She was here today to meet someone whom had offered to help her further her abilities and knowledge of the Force.

She had taken Krest's advice to heart when he had told her to look for other teachers as well. If he didn't know about the elements well she would find someone whom did and Keziah had. Sure the woman was a Sith Lord but that didn't mean much to her. If the abilities she could teach would assist her helping protect her new home Keziah wished to learn.

The young woman didn't know what to expect as she never had met a Sith before. It was bound to happen and rather like this than on the battle field.

Zenith Prime. It was odd place deep within the Confederacy place. Asteria managed to find little about it. That wasn't the issue. The issue was the fact that she had been summoned to the planet. By someone called Keziah Denko. She didn't appreciate that in the least bit. And yet, somehow, she had agreed to come. She wanted to know who this person was. From what she got in the message, she knew Krest, her most recent student. She'd have a talk with him too, she was not someone whose name should have been spread around. Asteria had things she was going to do in the near future.

Still, she was here, descending into this peculiar planet, her eyes set on the window ahead. When finally she had touched down, her fingers rose to the edge of the panel and tapped her fingers over it, still looking out. Then finally she sent a message through the communicator that simply read:

I am here.
Along with it were attached the coordinates to the landing site. If this girl wanted to see her so bad, she'd have to come the rest of the way herself. But Asteria did do one last thing, turning her heal and exiting the Sith Infiltrator as the landing pad opened its back. Simon, her droid, peeked as well but the blonde caught him there. "In, now." It was a command, one he needn't have question now. And he didn't, returning deeper into the ship.

The first lesson to be learned here was that you never make a Sith Lord come to you. You go to them if you wished to learn and Keziah did. She wanted to learn all she could about the Force and the elements very much interested her. If she could control them the young woman would have a leg up in fighting and protecting herself.

Glancing to the instructions to the landing pad she took a deep breath before beginning on her journey. She had never met a Sith before so admittedly she was a little nervous and she wasn't sure what to expect from this meeting. Hopefully in the end she would get what she was hoping for.

Upon arriving at the landing pad she saw the Sith Infiltrator and her guest of sorts. Keziah stopped a few feet in front of her. "Thank you for coming, it's a pleasure to finally meet you." She wasn't sure how to greet her but thought being polite was always the best.

Slowly, she turned away from the inside of the ship and gazed on the planet before her as she waited. The Force, a wonderful tool that it was, quickly told her she would soon be approached. Letting it spread beyond what her turquoise eyes could see, she let it be her sight. It told her there was potential she could indeed work with. That was all the blonde wanted to know right now as pulled back and continued waiting.

Then finally, the girl came to her eyesight. A redhead. The female paused when they were apart few feet. That was far enough for the blonde. [member="Keziah Denko"] spoke next, thanking her for coming her. Called it a pleasure. "You are more welcome than you know. I don't usually make house calls," Asteria pointed first. "You may call me Lady deWinter." Second piece of relevant information.

After those words, Asteria fell silent, letting her gaze remain on the girl, letting the silence between them sink in for a couple of moments. It was an act done on purpose. She wanted the girl to tell her exactly why she had summoned her to this planet. What specifically she wished to learn. If the lack of small talk wasn't an indication to how much Asteria disliked it and the girl attempted it again, Asteria would clarify. The only thing she wanted to hear now was which element had caught the girl's attention.

In her life the young woman had been through many things that she would never wish on even her worst enemy. She had stood strong at times and faced down her demons and if she could do that than she could handle a Sith Lord. Keziah just needed to show her that she wasn't scared of her and was not one to cower in fear as she was sure others did. She respected the woman, not feared her that was the difference.

The fact that Lady deWinter was willing to come all of the way out here for her meant a lot. It was rare that people went out of their way to do anything for her and as such she wouldn't waste her time.

"I was interesting in learning the element of water." She had always had an infinity for water and for the reason alone she believed that would be the best for her to control. Keziah figured she didn't want to hear about the why which was why she hadn't added it in. She didn't seem to be the type for small talk.

[member="Keziah Denko"] wanted to learn the element of water. It was difficult knowledge for the blonde to pass to another. Fire, Earth and Air would have been extremely easy but Water that had been her natural element... tricky.

Slowly, she stepped off the platform in her high heels and approached the redhead, her head tilting to take a better look at her now. "Controlling elements is easier that creating them, altering environment. But to control them, you need an existing source of the particular element. Is there one near by?"
