A Simpler Life
Darth Daiara had been gone for too long. This had been the longest amount of time between hearing from her and while silence was far from shocking any longer, it was now getting too concerning. Her daughter had told Kaalia she would be going off the grid for some time, but with how long ago it had been now, instinct told the mother that things were not well. The time had come to step in and find out where the girl had gone and what she had gotten herself into.
Tracking Aradia down this time was going to be much more difficult, however. When Kaalia's instincts warned her of danger, as it had done before, she was able to track down the girl's ship. Unlike previously, however, there was no trace to be found while tracking signals. Something had gone seriously wrong. Before doing anything else, though, she had Ishana to inform. She had hoped to be able to give her better news, but things were looking far from good.
"Miala?"
Kaalia's serious voice rang through the garage as she stepped inside, her eyes quickly meeting her wife. Ishana was busy tinkering with one thing or another, though while Kaalia would normally ask what she was doing, the way the redhead had made her presence known made it clear there was something more important to talk about. After twenty years of marriage, Ishana was intimately familiar with Kaalia's demeanor when she was concerned.
"Aradia has gone missing again. And I'm afraid it's worse this time."
Something had to be done, and soon.
