Would this be a thing?

Ok so we have vanilla Jedi. Dark Jedi. Rogue Jedi.

Then we have Jedi consulars. Jedi Guardians. Jedi Healers.

My question is this: would there be such a thing as a Rogue Jedi Consular? Or a dark Jedi consular? Rogue Jedi healer? And so on. Why or why not?

This stems from thoughts on what James would be classified as along said force user tree of skill sets. Sure he is persuasive beyond all doubt but does this make him a consular or does his rogue nature preclude him from this? Thoughts on this are welcome too.

Open to your own interpretation. Both as writers and as characters. It's all fluff man. We make up our own answers and call it truth. Nobody cares.

Likewise. Guardian, Consular, Sentinel. These were built for video game stat blocks and number crunching whateverz. The only requirement to calling yourself a Jedi Super-Warlord is just doing it. The only requirement to calling yourself a Sith Bro-Blaster is to just adopt it. Slap on a name tag that say, "Jedi Walmart Greeter" and congrats! You are now a Jedi Walmart Greeter. It's just that simple.

And you're going to find people who do these things wrong anyway. I've seen plenty of people who call themselves a Consular and yet shun Force Powers and adopt using real samurai swords instead. Then they start calling themselves a Jedi Ronin Apprentice. Pfft. As if they even understand the cultural significance of having a Jedi Master and yet calling themselves a "Ronin".

So long answer short: Yeah. There can be whatever you want there to be. *special snowflakes errywhere*

Sor-Jan is also a Rogue Jedi. I picked that tag as best befitting that a Jedi of the The Jedi Order minor faction, which is nominally aligned as guardians of the Galactic Republic, has chosen to instead become part of the Techno Union

So, in answer to your question, I'd point to the fact that Sor-Jan is a Rogue Jedi Consular.
