Wrapping Up

Jairdain had regained her freedom from the Sith. It had been a long and painful journey for her. Having fallen prey to the corruption of Krest, she had walked the path of them for a while. However, the subverted Jedi had fought back in the end and she had broken from the beliefs of Krest and sith.

One time before this, she had been taken a prisoner and returned to the Silver Jedi then. Upon her return, she had been by Arisa. They had a good conversation about her time of captivity, being knighted and her people. Word had been given by Master Yune that if she was ever taken again, rescue would be sent for her. It had never happened, though she had been lead to believe plans had been made to do so.

Partially blaming Arisa for her fall, she had hoped to work things out between them. That hope had been dashed when she met with Yuroic after her turn. Arisa had left and nobody knew where she had gone. However, at that time if Jairdain had known how to find her, she wouldn't have. While she did, she knew now it would not have been a good meeting.

Calmer, changed and now herself, Jairdain got a message from the woman. It was as if the Force had known it was the right time to have this conversation. The message was simple and asked Jairdain if she would meet Arisa on the Kiribi spacestation. It was neutral ground, though at this point that wouldn't have mattered to Jairdain.

Wanting to get this part of her life moved passed, Jairdain messaged back. They agreed to meet there and now the young woman waited for Arisa to appear. Sitting on one of the benches provided, she waited. Wearing something other than traditional Jedi garb now, she wore black and white. Her lightsaber was clipped to her hip.

She was no longer sith, but not a Jedi anymore either. Instead she had come to terms with her past and melded both together. Once again more on the path of her people than either of the other two. True neutral and this was what she was within the Force. A calm storm though until this conversation took place.

Hephit Station, Vraco, Kiribi System

Jairdain Ismet. That was a name Arisa never honestly expected to hear again. After weeks of searching, she had never found a solid lead on the lost Jedi, who she presumed was still in the clutches of the Sith, either as a corpse or convert. However, upon her periodic check-in with Voss, she was notified of Jairdain's reemergence. That revelation was a bittersweet moment; on one hand, relieved that Jairdain was apparently safe and sound, on the other, feeling guilty once more about a promise she had failed to keep to lost Knight.

It was during this time she was also notified of her former apprentice Yuroic popping up too. Everyone was apparently coming out of the woodworks. Both apparently had things to say to her, but as she was now based out of Kiribi again, she invited them to her home system to chat. Which was why she was now at Hephit, first meeting with Jairdain.

Hephit was a something of a neutral space, a checkpoint for all comers who wished tor verge deeper into the heart of the Kiribi system. Jairdain would have an easy time leaving, while Arisa would be absolved of any potential headaches could have come in the event of an altercation.

Near the appointed time for the meeting, Arisa appeared, dressed comfortably in dark urban wear. She hadn't specified a meeting location, but Jairdain was easy enough to pick out from the crowds by her Force signature alone. Changed, but still familiar.

When she could finally see Jairdain, she didn't smile or anything, knots turning in her stomach from a rash of anxiety and guilt. She really had no idea how to proceed in the awkward situation besides showing up. The nature of their encounter would likely be all dependent on how Jairdain decided to address her. Arisa was prepared for some shade, but even as guilty as she felt she probably wouldn't tolerate any long tirade too well.

She came up to Jairdain on the bench, clasping her hands behind the back. "Hello. Thank you for seeing me today."

While not a master or anything, Jairdain had some skills she considered to be close to mastered. Empathy was one of them. Through the Force, she knew when Arisa arrived. As the Jedi got closer, she sensed the feelings she felt. In a way she shared one of them as well, but kept the nervousness at bay. The two of them had never had a bad relationship or past interaction. If the truth was known, she didn't dislike Arisa, but felt a small sense of betrayal from her.

Standing up at the approach of Arisa, Jairdain's face remained as neutral as she could make it. One not able to keep what she thought or felt hidden from being seen, it was difficult. Whatever did show, there was no anger in her expression.

"Master Yune."

Though when they had initially met, Arisa requested her to call her by that name and not master anything, Jairdain felt it proper to do so now. At least until they reworked how their relationship was going to be after the events of the past year.

"I am glad you asked to see me."
