BIOGRAPHY:
Wulf was born the son of a First Order TIE ace. Well regarded by his men, and achieving moderate success through the many wars leading up to the Fall, he imparted a love for flight onto his young son. Both father and son stayed behind to continue the fight from the tunnels of Dosuun, exposing the young Wulf to military life at a young age. Primarily used for gopher work, he gradually began to pick up the necessary traits all resistance fighter should have - mechanical aptitude, marksmanship, and loyalty to cause. While far from a savant, he was a serviceable member of the team, and ultimately took up work primarily as an apprentice armorer.
Emerging when the Hegemony and it's corrupt bureaucrats took over, Wulf found himself alone, his father dying to help secure a semblance of peace. With some knowledge of fighter maintenance, Wulf was able to find work in a freshly reopened starfighter factory, and in short order 'promoted' to a production test pilot. Given the haphazard nature of the assembly lines being produced prior to the First Order's reemergence, this was often dangerous, unforgiving work.
Yet, as the howl of twin ion engines became as familiar as the smell of spring dew, he found the freedom of flight that his father had so loved. The factory lay at the base of jagged peaks and alpine hills. Grazing pastures flashed by beneath as he rolled, banked, and took the fighters through the scheduled list of performance tests. More than once he nearly died, but the closer Yvarro got to victory the better the production lines became.
Once more, the great starfighter works of the First Order were building the very vehicles that would send them back to their rightful place in an uncaring galaxy. As soon as he could, he signed up for Starfighter Command. Already having some experience both with maintenance and plenty of flight hours, he was able to get comfortable quickly. The true test would be combat, but until then, he'd keep his eyes sharp and reflexes sharper.
TRAITS:
- Sand Fleas Build Character - For his occupation, working in a military environment for much of his teenage years is a definite plus. It eases the transition from civilian to military and provides a solid foundation on which to build. Hardship can destroy, but also build. For now, it's doing the latter.
- Can't Take the Skies From Me - At home in the skies, secure in his cockpit.
- The Family Name - Eager to step out of what he perceives as the shadow of his father, he can be quick to press advantages that turn out to be anything but.
- Interpersonal Skills - Military communication of objectives and status are not the same as conversation and relationships, be they friendly or romantic. To say his interpersonal skills are stunted is like saying the Death Star 'was a bit big.'
