It would take only the most committed anti-armor rockets and mortar batteries to successfully eliminate them.

  • The Monsoon is equipped with standard military-grade shielding for deflectors, particles, and rays, along with an extra reinforced shielding system that allows it to withstand intense cannon fire.

WEAKNESSES

• Sluggish Tonk -
  
  • The Repulsortank's capacity for enhanced armor and shielding comes at the cost of reduced speed and maneuverability, rendering it susceptible to flanking assaults and attacks from the rear due to its sluggish turning capabilities.
• Air Support -
  
  • The Repulsortank's primary armaments located at the front is highly effective in countering infantry threats, but not those which originate from the air. This is the reason why it is designated as an infantry support vehicle rather than a main battle tank within the Trade Federation. It is essential for the Repulsortank to be accompanied by protection from enemy aircraft and air superiority fighters.

DESCRIPTION

The Trade Federation X4-86H 'Monsoon' Infantry Support Repulsortanks were a bastardized variant of the TXV XT-60B 'Cataphract' Class Repulstor MBT developed by the Technoid Manufactorum and based off of the ancient Imperial Heavy Repulsortank. Unlike the original model, the 'Monsoon' variant lacked the main battle tank features, making it a more affordable option for planetary governments operating on a tight budget and even criminal syndicates.

Despite its limitations, this repulsor tank still proved to be a reliable and efficient vehicle for supporting infantry units in various combat scenarios and for supressing riots. The simplified and recycled design and cost-effective nature of the 'Monsoon' made it a popular choice among smaller factions and developing civilizations looking to bolster their military capabilities without breaking the bank.
