Description:
The XA-5 X-Wing was designed by Incom to be the perfect balance between speed, firepower, and defense. The vessel itself is well defended with shields, four laser cannons, and two proton torpedo launchers making it a well rounded fighter. The vessel possesses the same wing configuration of it’s older models of X-wings and improved upon the reliance over the E-25 by dividing the power between four ion engines instead of just two. This made the craft easier to repair and gave it more time in the field before it needed maintenance. This new X-wing took to space as part of the Republics expanding naval might and became a favorite among many fighter pilots for it’s balance in line with its heritage.
