DESCRIPTION
Kurayami built the intimidating set of black and gold armor soon after the Commonwealth began their rise to galactic prominence once again and it soon become the armor that he was most commonly seen wearing. Intended to be a prototype for their special forces jet troopers it is still unknown if it ever saw production or if any lessons were worked into the production version. The reinforced gammaplast plates were scavenged from old First Order sets of armor that were destined to be scrapped and when he joined up with the Mandalorian Protectors he would come into possession of enough beskar to reforge the armor into the form it has taken now. Even though the layered composition and addition of a xythan force shield would allow him to stand up to near any foe with little resistance, as even a lightsaber wielding foe would find it hard to get through the plates, much less any more conventional means such as thermal or sonic weaponry. There was more that would soon come to light about the armor that would make it even more worthwhile for the Drunken Savant to utilize.
Over the course of the time the odd master of the Force has worn it, he has traveled into the Netherworld, into the Manda, and explored multiple Force nexuses of varying degrees from Light to Dark and every bit of the spectrum in between. Due to the constant exposure and other unknown and unknowable factors, the armor itself has become a Force nexus unto itself. Though this is not entirely unheard of according to some sources, it is very rare and is usually done on purpose accompanied by careful rituals and precise meditations...none of which were present in the creation of the nexus within this armor. Perhaps that is how it gained the ability to completely counter the effects of Force nullifying objects and creatures within the immediate vicinity of the wearer. As well the wearer can draw more readily and easily upon the Force for a longer period of time. In addition, Kurayami soon found himself able to utilize shatterpoint passively during battle.
While the upsides are many there are two downsides, one being much more obvious and larger than the other. The greatest downside is that the pieces of the armor are inextricably linked as a part of the singular nexus, meaning that unless all are present, the nexus will not function. If a piece is sufficiently damaged in combat it would also disable the effects of the nexus and make it Force imbued armor, but still vulnerable at the joints.

Force nexus due to multiple adventures through by Kurayami while wearing it to the Netherworld, the Manda, and multiple nexuses of varying alignments.
Allows the wearer to draw on the Force with less drain
Allows the user to passively perceive shatterpoints in people and objects around them
Though unknown how, it gained a unique ability to nullify the effects of Force nullifying objects or creatures.
