Via Dolorosa
Amans In Tenebris
The Black Widow, who had dispatched a lover or two, was sought out for her wisdom. The young female spider asked her, "Did you keep his harmful secret under the threat of danger, or did you spin a web so confusing that he didn't know if you were friend or foe? Did you release him from the web and your presence or will you give another the venom in which to finish him?" The Black Widow was quiet and then said, "All of the above."

She was once an average swordsmen but through years of dedicated practice to the art, she has learned to become deadly with the ancient and traditional weapon of the Sith Order. She chose the form, Makashi, and by supplementing her grace, speed, agility, and her knowledge of the Force, she crafted a far more potent version of Makashi.
Gear/Appearance
Her clothes, a knee high skirt and halter top, are fashioned from the hides and skins of Dagobah's fauna, mainly Dragonsnakes and the Spotlight Sloths. The clothes themselves have small animal bones she collected woven into the outfit.
The utility belt worn around her waist is constructed from the teeth of Knobby White Spiders with pouches in which to store items fabricated from the skins and feathers of the Jubba Bird fastened to it. A small hooked tooth from a Spade-Head Smooka was added where her lightsaber is attached to.
Her wrists and ankles are both adorned with bracelets from the bones of both the Leaf-Tail and Spade-Head Smooka. Two shoulder length Dragonsnake teeth are woven into her, one on each side, with their pointes constantly brushing against her flesh, allowing her to utilize the pain at will. She wears no boots, electing to walk the galaxy bare-foot.
The cloak she wears is created from Dagobah Pythons and the fur from the abdomen of Knobby White Spiders.

Biography
I͐̅ͪnͧ̓ t̑̾ͦhe͋ ̋̎ͣͩ̾͊̾Bͯ́̈́égͥ͒͑̍͐i͛nͮͮ̈͂̾ṅ̑ï̎̿͑ngͩ͊̉ͭ̈́ͬ̚
She was born under a full starry night on the planet of Dagobah, where her Mother and a handful of others survived a crash that wiped out three-fourths of the ship's occupants which included her Father, in a cave alone with her mother. Her Mother, pregnant with her at the time, had searched the cave along with two other women and somehow her mother had "mysteriously" become separated from the small group of women. Her Mother, afraid to raise a child alone, emerged with the infant folded in her arms, and quickly hid the child away in a nearby swamp to die. With the young child wailing and kicking, her Mother vanished into the foggy swamp. To her luck, a small caravan of Hepsalum Tash returning to their reclusive lives in a remote village hidden away from the prying eyes of other species, mainly the humans and aliens that seemed to be inhabiting the planet these days, stumbled upon the abandoned infant. Not sure what to do with the Vahla infant, they took it with them back to their village. A council was taken among the elders and it was decided that the child would remain with the tribe and be raised as a member of the Tash, their values and life-styles taught to the child.
By the time she was five (5), she began to act out against her foster parents exhibiting signs of witchery according to the village but in truth the Force was beginning to truly manifest itself in her. She was able to move objects without touching them and could at times "hear" what others where saying without them making words. She began to become an outcast among the villagers and by the time she was thirteen (13), she had been banished for both their safety and hers. They did not understand her or what was happening to her so they had allowed their fears dictate their morality.
Alone in a swamp ruled by dragonsnakes, Dagobah pythons, and bogwings she found out quickly that her survival depended upon herself only and these abilities that she didn not truly understand either. Fleeing from these predators on an everyday basis, she began to learn their traits and how to hide from them. She found a way to purify the swamp water by boiling it and found nourishment to curb her hunger by feasting on silver-nape beetles and other insects she could catch. Soon she began to turn into a scavenger feasting off the dead creatures left behind from the dragonsnakes. She also took an interest in the flora by consuming the cyanoberry and the stickle tree plant.
One night she got caught out after dark and was being hunted by a a group of bogwings where she stumbled into a moss covered cave to ride out this threat. The screams of the bogwings no longer concerned her because something else had occupied her attention. She felt a cold, darkness not just on her flesh but creeping into her mind. She shook her head as if by this simple gesture would cast away the ghostly voices or feelings she was encountering. She closed her eyes tight and began to scream and shake both from anger and fear. Suddenly everything fell silent. She had changed, but how?
She explored the cave and from there was able to construct a makeshift weapon using a thick tree branch, vines, and the jagged skull of some fallen creature. She began to train herself, the best way she thought anyway, how to wield her uncivilized weapon for attacking and defensive purposes. She had no idea where these thoughts or ideas of such actions that where haunting her mind came from but rather than push them out, she embraced them. Soon she began to work on her "witchery" powers and found that she could dominate objects by moving them with her mind. Also, another manifestation took place. Through her self imposed training she found that she could rely on this "witchery" to enhance her movements while learning to accept the "pings" she was feeling when danger or others where in the vicinity. The more she worked on her "witchery" the more powerful she was becoming while her fighting prowess grew turning those nasty creatures that sought to make a meal of her into her meal.
One day after several cycles of full moons passed (age 16), she stumbled upon a downed mechanical beast (later she would learn it was a ship) and readied herself to assault or protect herself. With weapon at the ready and the creature showing no signs that it was going to attack, she struck. Leaping through the air with the aid of her "witchery" skill, she was just about to hit the mechanical creature with her weapon when she felt a rush of air collide into her, throwing her back where she landed hard on her back. The air knocked from her lungs and fuzzy little things danced around her eyes, she heard and felt the presence of another. As she raised her head she heard an unfamiliar sizzling noise. Her eyes fell on the red light that seemed to be attached to a metal looking cylinder. Fighting the trance she was in, she allowed her eyes to roam from what could only appear to be a weapon to the person holding it. The figure, dressed in black sporting red and gold armour on his chest with a dark hood over it's head and a crimson and white mask hiding it's features, stood looming near her. But they did not attack, they simply observed her.
Trying to rise to her feet, she felt another shove through the air and she once more was on her back. The figure now stood over her and looked down at her. She felt a tingling sensation in her mind and through pure reflexes gripped her at her head. All at once the sensation ended just as quickly as it appeared. She opened her eyes and gripped her weapon only to see this figure not only standing over her but had one of its arms extended out to her in a gesture of assistance. Now wanting to trust this figure she held her ground.
"You do not understand these powers you possess. You are confused on how one such as yourself came into such a gift, am I right? Take my hand child and I will open up to you a whole new world," the figure said. After a few passing minutes, she gripped the figure's hand and allowed herself to be directed to his mechanical beast. Once inside the figure removed the mask revealing a horribly scarred, male human face. "You are able to do and feel things others cannot. I can sense the Force and the Dark Side coursing through you but it is more than a screaming whisper but it is there none the less. And with proper guidance and training you can learn to harvest the benefits of such a gift. However, I'm in no position to take on an Apprentice but I can help set you down the path of glory. What do you say?"
She remained silent still calculating in her mind all that was transpiring before her when the figure smiled and continued,"The Force is born of two halves, child. Light and Dark. The Light is reserved for the weak and that is all you need to understand about the Light. Are you weak? Of course you are not. I can sense anger and fear in you and that is good. Feed off it. Use it. Embrace it and you will become strong! Do you know what a Sith is, child?" She shook her head 'no' and the figure nodded his head adding,"The Sith is an Order of Force users dedicated to the Dark Side and it is the Dark Side that I sense in you. I don't know how you came to be chosen but it is there none the less. I wish to speak with you more but I'm currently on a recon mission for the Sith and you, child, are going to accompany me. Or shall I leave you here to live as a swamp rat?"
The young girl shook her head 'no' and the figure said,"I thought as much. But where are my manners, child. My name is Ryi Olaap and you are?" The girl, never putting much stock in her name and over the past few years never heard it spoke from another or her own lips finally answered, "Xhexania."

During the first six (6) months of their travelling she stayed in the ship while he conducted his business. Xhexania began to focus on her lessons handed down from Ryi. She worked to strengthen her connection to the Force and with his help and learning material began to understand the Sith and their struggles. It was at this time that she began to understand the Dark Side inside her. He had given her a training blade, discarding her crude weapon with disgust, and taught her how to wield it. He bestowed to her the knowledge of the different lightsaber techniques as well.
"A lightsaber is an extension of one's self. It will save your life and kill your enemies. If you ever find yourself apart from your weapon then it means one of two things, young one. Either you are going to die or you are already dead," Ryi told her after one of their training sessions. "I have decided that after my travels are complete I will take you to the Sith Academy where you can become a proper Sith. I will also seek permission to take you on as my Apprentice."
During the last six (6) months she began to learn the Code of the Sith and installing it's mantra into her everyday life. She recited the code every morning when she woke and every night before she slept. Though she was not Sith, she began to feel and think as one. She knew one day that a Sith she would become for anything short of this goal was failure.
"Remember young one that weakness and mercy are diseases. These traits are frowned upon in the Sith Order and if at any pointe I find that you have been infected, I will kill you not out of mercy but because you have become a failure to me."
D̶̷e̴s͞ti͠͝n͘y͠ in͜͞ ̕t̢̕h̵é ̸G̕r̀͘a̡s͘͠p̡͘ ͝(̸Y̴̡̧ę͜à͟r̵ ̢͡҉2̴)̴̕
"While I'm gone young one, you are to stay here and practice and practice with your training blade. Your lack of focus in our dueling sessions is shoddy. If you wish to be Sith then you need to wield a weapon like one. The Jedi have only a select few of duelists that could face off against a Sith but a Sith duelist can face off and kill anything foolish enough to challenge it."
She was just about to begin another session with the orb training droid when the com link on her wrist roared to life. "Xhex I need your help. I'm...sending you coordinates....coordinates to my location. Hurry!"
After programming the coordinates into a datapad, she followed them to what appeared to be some run-down warehouse. Stretching out with her mind, as she had been taught, she quickly scanned the building for life. What came back to her was a faint life form that could only be Ryi. Cautiously, with her training blade set to the highest level, she entered the building and made her way to his location. Stepping through a door that had been blasted and blasted again she saw the corpses of several figures clad in various outfits but no sign of Ryi.
She turned around and was heading for the door when she heard her name from a far corner. She ran over to Ryi and witnessed that he was wounded in several spots. She glimpsed his lightsaber was several feet from and turned her eyes back to him as he spoke. "Xhex...I need you to help me back to the ship. My wounds....my wounds will not allow me to do this on my own. I need to meet up with the Sith Council....I...I found something on this datapad they will.....they will find most interested. You will have to pilot the ship...you do...remember how?" She nodded her head. "The security pass code to unlock the ship's navigation computer is 'Four Corners.' Once you have opened the computer type in the word 'Home' and the ship....the ship will have the preset coordinates. You just need to make sure along the way that we do not encounter any....any resistance. Now....help me up."
Again she glimpsed his lightsaber lying a few feet from him and at the moment realized Ryi's weakness. He was asking, no begging for her help. A Sith would rather suffer a beautiful death rather than rely on the assistance of another. Calling on the Force, she called to her left hand the lonely lightsaber. Pushing the activation stud on the hilt, she watched as the blade emerged in sizzling fashion. All throughout her body she felt a sensation she could not place with the ignited weapon in her hand. She turned her cold gaze to Ryi and pointed the blade at his chest.
"You have sought to restrain what I wanted to learn from you by citing reasons upon reasons that seem to me that you were afraid that one day I would learn the truth. That one day I would grow to become more powerful than you. That I would far exceed your knowledge and have no use for you. Poor Ryi. You were right to hold me back but you have failed. I will seek out the Sith and return to them this datapad. I will enter their Temples and learn from their teachers and one day find a real Master. I will become a powerful Sith. Unfortunately for you Ryi, you will not witness this. Our journey together has come to a conclusion. You taught me that weakness is a disease. You have been infected and I will cure you Ryi," Xhex says with a sinister expression on her face. Ryi tries to reach out with the Force but she is far quicker than her wounded prey and drives the blade deep into his chest, ending his existence.

Her arrival at the Sith Academy on Coruscant was met with mixed reviews. At first glance, Xhexinia resembled a swamp pauper compared to those that usually sought out the teachings of the Sith. She was mocked before uttering her first words and began wondering if coming here was a mistake. But she was here and she would see this through.
In the first three weeks after her arrival, she had been beaten by the academy's teachers for her failure to conform to their teachings; always questioning their lectures and techniques. To add injury to insult, she was shamed and ridiculed by the other students and higher tier Acolytes. This had stemmed from the difficulties of properly using a lightsaber, always being chosen for duels in the training circle. She was gaining a reputation as being an easy victory; and everyone took advantage of her lack of skill.
Her command of the Force was even shaky when compared to the other Acolytes. She knew the basics but Ryi had not properly shown her how to control the Force. So she was reckless and often failed in lessons. Back home on Dagobah she thought she was perfect, though she never had anyone to compare herself up until now. She was out of her league. Again she thought about just fleeing.
Then she changed tactics. She always possessed the ability to learn quickly so taking advantage of this, she began practicing what she knew away from the eyes of the others, students and Masters both. Late nights were spent in the archives learning about lightsaber forms and mastery of the Force from holocrons created by Sith Lords. Her faith in the teachings by the temple's Masters had crumbled away. She would make efforts to teach herself while picking apart the lessons from the teachers; incorporating what she deemed useful.
She slowly began to win duels in the training circle, putting doubt into the minds of those that had once challenged her. But that only caused her more problems. She created rivals from among her peers and they wasted no time to try and oppress her again. Once again she changed tactics and became an opportunist. She struck at them when they least expected it; killing two rivals. She once again was punished but she no longer cared. For every beating or lecture only fueled her hatred for the teachers and her rivals. Suddenly she understood the nature of emotions and the strength that came with them.
Xhexania, once the mocked and chided swamp pauper from Dagobah, had now became a predator. Her confrontational nature kicked into overdrive and she sought out those that had earlier shamed and physically hurt her. She no longer feared the Master's retribution for killing or bringing harm to her rivals. In truth, a part of her enjoyed it. It gave her purpose. It gave her passion. Her gave her a reason to excel over the others.
War. The invasion of Manaan by the One Sith had called to her. The idea of testing herself against another enemy, the Jedi and the Republic, was something she craved. Her hatred of the Jedi was different from what other Sith held for them. So she came to the water world not to just kill or seek revenge like the others, but to punish and drag the faces of her enemy in the mud of their weakness.
It was on Manaan that she got her first glimpse of battle and her first taste of fighting a Jedi. The Jedi, unknown then how she would be a huge part in her life, had managed to escape. But the war had been won. She survived both encounters while sporting a scar on her right shoulder reminding her of that glorious day.
For her actions on Manaan and for her loyalty and hard work within the One Sith, she was elevated to the rank of Sith Knight. That day saw the death of that swamp pauper, Xhexania, and the birth of Darth Venefica.
K̶ņ̕͞i҉͘g̸h̛͢t̢-͟͟m̢͏̡ar҉͡é͞
With her powers increasing, her mastery of the Force being established, and her skill with the lightsaber exceeding even her own expecations; so did the volume of the voices in her head. As an Acolyte they barely registered their presence with her but now they spoke more frequently, and now always with positive encouragement. Which caused problems for the Knight. She never spoke of her situation to anyone and since she was heard talking to herself or prone to verbal outbursts, people began to perceive her as crazy. Which was true. A life of solitude in the swamps of Dagobah and the voices of the five only eroded her mind. But she would endure through this, she always endured.
For all the issues of being a vessel for the voices, she now shared their memories and they hers. Her knowledge of the Sith, the Dark Side, and the Force continually increased. To her this was something she saw as positive, for knowledge was a driving force to her in her efforts to become a powerful Sith. Since they had tricked her into becoming their keeper, she sought to exploit them. Both sides had benefited from this arrangement. However, she hated them. She would always hate them.
She had returned to Dagobah to train herself in both the Force and lightsaber combat. Her homeworld was rich with predators that would give her the challenges she sought, and they did not disappoint. She had left her homeworld as a child on the lower rung of the food chain but now returned as the apex predator of the swamps. Dragonsnakes and Swampslugs were her favourite to fight. Both were powerful creatures, pushing and testing her limits. While she was here, she began hunting down the species of Dagobah for the purpose of creating her own unique clothes.
The return from Dagobah had opened her eyes. She took on an Apprentice to pass along her knowledge to. But what really called to her was war. Kashyyyk. Like Manaan, the One Sith invaded the planet of the mighty Wookies to bring the planet into their collection. She led a small band of troops along with some Acolytes, into the heart of the Wookie capital. However, she suffered her first defeat at the hands of a Jedi Master but survived the encounter, while the planet fell into the grip of the Dark Lord.
Of all the possibilities that could play a role in her life, her friendship and attachment to a Jedi was the last thing she would have expected. During a mission for the Dark Council, she was sent to destroy an object of great power before it could be auctioned. It was here she crossed paths with the Jedi from Manaan. Since their goals were the same, they found working together was more beneficial than fighting among themselves. The mission was successful but they had grown close. It was a dangerous game for the both of them to play. However, the Force had brought them together for a reason. And that reason was not yet revealed to them.
And then more changes occurred. She found a balance in her life, not peace or mercy but creating. Mainly, erecting buildings. She spent time raising Sith Temples and other facilities for the One Sith on some of their planets. The appeal of this was so great, that she began studying civil engineering and architecture.
She found herself standing before all the Lords and Ladies, as they cast their votes on whether she was ready to join their ranks. Once more her life changed as she was bestowed upon the rank of Sith Lord.
