Strengths​

​

Durability: For a battle droid they are very durable. They can take hits longer than the normal standard battle droid.​

​

Terrain Walkers: They can easily cross most terrains (minus Mountains and lakes).​

​

Appearance: They can install fear or baffle enemies by their look.​

​

Weaknesses​

Slow Moving: Due to their size and armour plating, they're mobility is extremely slow.​

​

Overheating: Because of their size and slow mobility, they can overheat rather quickly if used for extended periods of time (estimated 2 hours)​

The battle droid is designed to break lines of the enemy (troops and other vehicles) while allowing for it to release a steady rate of fire. It can be utilized on most planet terrains but mountains and lakes pose problems. Also, low temperatures (-25 and below) cause the droid's circuitry to freeze up; causing it to breakdown or go into a frenzy state.​

The droid, though designed for battles, makes an excellent sentry droid for military installations and labs because of the droid sensors it possess. ​
