STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Strengths:

1. Tactical Prowess: Y3S-701, like all other Super Tactical Droids before it, is programmed to understand military tactics of both ground and space. While it lacks the ability to be 'creative' in its tactics, Y3S is brutal and cunning.
2. Hand-to-Hand Prowess: Y3S-701 was programmed with a certain skill in hand-to-hand combat, in the event that a foe was to close the distance.
3. Redundant Programming: Due to the nature of Y3S-701's programming, it is both complicated and extremely redundant. As such, trying to damage or alter Y3S's programming is far more trouble then it is worth.
4. Language Programming: Y3S-701 has extensive protocol programming due to its brief stint under an Imperial Warlord. Namely, it can speak all official recognised languages in the galaxy, as of the age of the First Galactic Empire (Some time around 12 ABY to 14 ABY).

Weaknesses:
1. Yes-Man Contingency: Though Y3S-701 did start as a normal Super Tactical Droid, but following the end of the Clone Wars, it fell into the hands of the Empire. It remained in storage until it was found to a long since forgotten Imperial Warlord. Due to Y3S-701's programming, it refused to work for the Warlord. Not to be so easily duped, the Warlord instead overrode Y3S-701's programming to ensure the droid was incapable of refusing any orders it was given or refuse to answer any questions asked of it.
2. Poor Shot: Due to Y3S-701's deeply screwed up programming, its ability to shoot has been all but degraded to nil.
3. Droid: Y3S-701, due to being a droid, is both immune to certain forms of attack and susceptible to others. Namely, electronic based attacks are its main weakness while bio weapons are, at best, ineffective. The many other weaknesses and proficiency of droids are in effect with Y3S.

APPEARANCE:
Y3S's startling height and bulk give it a dangerous look, easily taller than the average man and roughly equal in width to a wookie. Its white and green paints are obviously fading, however, revealing a rusted hull that is a clear patchwork of multiple metals and stand-ins. Its left most eye is cracked and constantly flickers.

BIOGRAPHY:
Y3S-701, known formerly as Yut-Of, spent the bulk of its time during the Clone Wars aboard its flagship near the Raxus system, hunting down pirates raiding convoys entering and exiting the system. When the order to shut down was sent out from Mustafar, Yut-Of returned to Raxus. The Imperial Navy, no longer hindered by the CIS fleet, met Yut-Of two weeks after the 'surrender'. The resulting battle was short, Yut-Of's ship crashing to the planet's surface. Yut went into emergency shut-down in the hopes of preserving its damaged systems.

Twenty-three years alter, scavengers would finally manage to shut down the automated defense systems on the ship, discovering Yut-Of. After safely excavating the droid, they returned to Raxus's capital city and sold the droid to the local Baron. The Baron, a veteran of the Clone Wars, decided to use the droid as a center-piece to his collection of artifacts.

Yut-Of would remain in this display area for nearly a decade, long after the fall of the Empire. The Baron who owned the droid joined a local warlord power before dying due to mysterious circumstances. Following the death of the warlord, a splinter faction seized Raxus. There was a problem, however, the new warlord lacked officers for his fleets. Upon discovering Yut-Of, he had the most brilliant idea. Upon reactivating the droid, the warlord ordered it to follow his command. After the droid, with only one functioning arm, managed to kill two Stormtroopers and breaking the leg of the warlord, they shut it down.

It took six months, but eventually the warlords unpaid and untrained slicers managed to override Yut-Of's programming. The end result? A droid in capable of telling any lie or disobeying any order. That ended about as well as you would have expected. After two years of service, Yut-Of, or as it was now know as: Y3S-701, 'happily' 'betrayed' the warlord to the New Republic when one of them asked the droid to shoot the warlord in the back in a joking manner.

Y3S-701 would be presumed lost with the warlord's ship, cropping up every once and a while between scavengers, being sold as a relic of a bygone era.
