Yan Ashford was a second generation Void soldier, born in the outpost located within the HC-Void Rift, His parents both void soldiers were lost in a attack on the outpost 8 years later from beings in the oblivion area. Leaving him in the care of Hades corp, over the years Yan was trained and molded into shape of a void solider. due to being born in the void Yans vocal cords Never really fully developed however another byproduct formed as a onset to his force sensitivity the ability to talk telepathically as if actually talking.
however, these feats themselves often take time to show with those who he works with due to trust issues and instead prefers to keep up the silent but disciplined trooper. After his 10 year service with hades corp He would leave the corp in order to find a life outside of its walls and in the real space weather that be with another faction or merc/bounty hunter crew.
