BIOGRAPHY:
Born and raised on Coruscant, Yefet grew up attending the best schools. He envied the wealthy and political elites, hoping one day to rise above them. A promising start in corporate law soon turned to a position in finance. His business savvy and ruthless negotiating style soon elevated him to the position of an executive in a top Coruscant investment firm. However, corporate infighting and boardroom politics saw Yefet dethroned. Determined to regain his status, Yefet poured his savings into property and stocks. In no time, he had amassed a small fortune, which he used to establish his venture capital firm, Rothko Capital. Several years and countless successful investments later, Yefet became one of the preeminent business leaders in the galaxy. Rothko Capital expanded its operations into venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and legal consulting, and property development. Despite his meteoric rise and immense wealth, Yefet was not happy only being influential in the private sector. Political capital is what he sought most of all.
Currently, Yefet spends most of his time away from home as he travels across the known galaxy striking business deals. At the same time, he searches for ways in which he can gain a political foothold and promoting his political agenda. Yefet believes that it is his moral prerogative to defend personal and corporate freedom. A firm believer in personal freedom and the free market, Yefet promotes lower taxes and weapons rights. Though he is wary about officially declaring a campaign for government, his political aspirations are no secret. As an unofficial diplomat, Yefet hopes that his business acumen will allow him to bring peace and justice to the galaxy. Adding to his wealth in the process is a pleasant side effect.
