Bringing together numerous stealth technologies into a single package, the Yokai can be sized and configured to be adapted to most any style and class of starship. It does not offer the same level of stealth of say, a stygium cloaking device, however it does enable starships to mask their emissions, obscure their shape and configuration in space, and conceal themselves from many different types of scanners and sensors, rendering those ships much more difficult to track and to target. The Yokai is an after-market package, adaptable to most known ship classes throughout the galaxy, but can also be integrated into the design and construction of new ones.
