Force-sensitive: yes
Strengths:
1) Flight: allows the Rishii a huge mobility advantage in atmosphere
2) Mimicry: The Riskii can mimic most sounds they hear and have a natural affinity to learning languages.
3) Staff mastery: Trained as a holy warrior with traditional weaponry Yo'tek is very potent with his staff. Upon his completion of training, he was granted one embued with Exonium, able to act as a sonic staff, granting it massive impact force that can launch its target upon impact. However, typically it is non-lethal bludgeoning force.
Weaknesses:
1) Impatient: Yo'tek had a fearsome drive in his youth and a desire to be more than his nest-mates, he would throw himself upon tasks beyond him and struggle through, often having to be consoled when his attempts at something way beyond his skill level were not met with immediate success.
2) reckless: Yo'tek was a violent and aggressive person, everything was a battle in his eyes. Be it cooking, cleaning or learning he would act as if every bit of life was a battle to be won or lost. Said to be touched by the spirit of the Maunger, getting himself into unwinnable and dangerous scenarios needlessly. Though some saw this as admirable spirit it would take a toll on him and leave him overextending himself.
3) Lightweight: The hollow bones and flight nature of the Rishii means that they are weaker than most species their size class able to be injured and stunned easily however they do recover quickly.
4) Ignorant of the force: Yo'tek was raised as a holy tribal warrior, hearing teachings of the Jedi that fought against the CIS and the force power that they held, the stories have been twisted and embellished a lot since then even with the modernization of technology the Rishii were granted by the republic. Jedi are great warrior Chiefs, those that guide their warriors among the stars. This "republic" nest may have fallen, perhaps the Jedi were weak. As Yo'tek grew to know his own fledgling force connection he swore he would make the Rishii a people to be feared and revered.
Appearance: Yo'tek is a tall toned and slim figure, his feathers colored in brilliant blues whites and patterned blacks, often adorned in lightweight tight clothing and ceremonial dress, consisting of bone jewelry and adornments.
Backstory:
Yo'tek was a tall hatchling, even as he grew it was not steadily but in leaps and bursts. He would race his hatch mates around the mountains about their home and tell tales of the great Maungur under the stars while soaring over the clouds. When it came time for lessons and learning Yo'tek ambled through, not fully understanding the need for all these facts and words save for one. Jedi. A popular story of the great warrior chieftain Kit-Fisto and his army of clones, he lead a campaign to retake our holy world like nothing we had ever seen before. A sword blazing a brilliant light that cut through skin and bone as if it were imbued with the spirit of Rishii itself. Yo'tek wanted to know the way of the Jedi like that, to become a warrior from beyond the skies and stars.
He trained hard and raging. Every day on he would be the first there, feathers preened and knelt in prayer before the day is even begun. Calling upon the spirits of the Maungur to guide his blade and the heart of Rishii to hold his soul. The masters saw his devotion as inspiring and trained him until his bones would crack and his feathers would fall out from exertion. This was no feat of aptitude, unknowingly he would call up his tapped force potential to guide him through. Years passed until he recognized what was happening, it was just intuition it was more. the force was with him and the Maungur had blessed him with the potential to become just like Kit-Fisto of old. He demonstrated his powers to the elders and they knew the same, that this power was more than a mere warrior of the Rishii, Yo'tek would be a Jedi. when his training was completed they would send him on a pilgrimage into the north where he would seek the Maungur sites and let destiny guide him onwards.
He packed his gear, took up the gifts of the elders from the war with the Geonosians as a symbol of their hopes and might. Yo'tek was given the new title of "blessed wanderer" that he might find the answers he seeks in the skies beyond our own.

Private - Try and try again, wisdom cannot be forced.
The room was dimly lit by a single chandelier of whimpering green flame. Darkness enveloped Yo'tek who stood alone, staff ready at mid guard while he tilted his head from side to side. His beak curled in a snarl while his brow furrowed, his eyes scanning the darkness as desperately he tried to...

Private - Green hell. Now with more green.
Yo'tek had once again found himself asleep amid holocron study, ancient force weilders and countless wars that raged across the seemingly infinite galaxy can be so deafeningly boring when told by countless old people. Even as he woke up and looked at the frozen image of some Knight captured in...
