Kaikielius, Royal Palace of Enfer
Akabane liked to gripe when tasked with doing something stupid or boring but for once, he had no complaints. The instructions given to him we're extremely simple. All he had to do was go wait in a hangar until something arrived. He had no clue what it could possibly be nor did he care too much about figuring that out. Whatever it was, the princess probably didn't want him looking into to it and that was perfectly fine with him. Akabane would rather not be nosey anyways. Digging too deep into her business could complicate things for the young man. Something like, "You know too much, you are to never abandon your position even in death. If you do, I'll claim your life in the name of House Solidor." He chuckled after putting that thought in his head as he imitated her voice. Doing that around her would seriously land him in a coffin though. He couldn't pass up the opportunity however, as it was extremely funny.
Once Akabane cleaned up and clothed himself, he started off towards the hangar which would be the gracious location of today's event. On his way there he found himself really analyzing the palace. It felt strange being in such a place with his status. He didn't care about nobility and all that stuff but he could definitely see the difference in being poor and rich. These walls... they weren't built for a peasant, as she called him. They were built for the great noblewoman he served, or perhaps her father. He sighed after forming a new thought. I've gotten into a bloody mess again... That was the truth of the matter. Akabane came to the princess one day expecting a normal job but it turned into becoming her knight. Of course holding that title and protecting her wasn't the thing that bothered him. She was a stunning woman with lovely eyes, a perfect body and great strength. Nothing would appear to be wrong at first glance... but then she pulls out a whip and yells at her prey, her noble title didn't help with the situation. It would've been a scary experience if Akabane wasn't given special treatment.
He grinned after thinking about all that. Despite having many reasons to dislike her, he couldn't. She had goals to reach and probably needed some people to keep close in the Chaotic world they lived in. If that's what he was there for then he couldn't just leave her alone. Father would be ashamed of him as a man if he were to do so. That's a risk he wasn't willing to take. Akabane had nothing else to do at the moment anyways. Sticking around wouldn't be all that bad as long as he stayed resilient. He lost the grin, remembering why he was even walking through these rich people halls. "The job." Akabane eventually got to the hangar without much trouble. He noticed no one was there yet and took a second sit down on the edge, facing out towards the city. Now he waited, legs dangling off the edge and eyes enjoying the scenery.
