- The Last Starfighter
Look, Jasper is an 80s action protagonist and a pilot in space. Classic coming of age adventure where, uh-oh, the arcade cabinet game was real the entire time!?!? Bro just wants to fly the spaceship.
Jalen Kai'el
- Baby Driver
First, it's important to note he would definitely be listening to the audio variation of a film, but that really isn't the draw. Baby Driver is made up of all kinds of musical sequences, using songs to time choreography and story beats. He simply vibes.
Loomi
- Kiki's Delivery Service
A cute animated film about coming of age and becoming comfortable in your own skin and confident in your own abilities. It's a story arc that resonates with Loomi, but she is definitely drawn to the film primarily by the cat Jiji.
Fynch
- Hogan's Heroes
Fynch doesn't watch movies. Far too long, and he's a very busy man. If he does have a little free time, however, he's always down to watch some imperial Nazi losers get clowned on by a ragtag band of freedom loving soldiers behind enemy lines.

- Treasure Planet
SPACE PIRATES! LESGOOOOOOO! Also a story about found family and overcoming generational trauma. No foreshadowing whatsoever there.
