Your role and rank

Recruit

You are not yet a full member of the unit, your time as a Prospect is a trial period. We want to get to know you more before we decide to let you into our ranks. You will be expected to be professional and loyal at all times when you are on duty. Also, even when you're not on duty with the rest of the unit, you are always representing us and any form of misbehavior that may endanger the unit’s reputation may lead to you being discharged. Just listen and learn from the troopers in our ranks and try to be available for the various missions and training sessions.

Enlisted ranks: Corporal, Private first class, Private

You are part of the units backbone. Keyword here is obedience. The officer gives an order and you follow it to the letter, you do not question your orders. You may be new into our ranks, look to your officers and NCO's, follow their example and stay professional. Keep yourself active and up to date. You may be given orders to lead patrols or missions but may not order out troopers unless you have been given clearance from a NCO or CO. Opportunities for promotions are everywhere if you are seeking for it. We will however always need Privates, and there is NO shame in being the lowest rank, you are in fact one of the most important roles for the Imperial storm corps to function. You are part of an Imperial elite unit, just remember to act that way.

NCO ranks: Sergeant Major, Staff Sergeant, Sergeant

As an NCO the officer counts on you to make sure the troopers follow their orders to the best of their abilities. When the officer gives an order it is you who make sure that everyone does their best. Use your experience to help and motivate others, and remember that you are a role model for the lower ranks. You are also now a qualified squad leader which means you can conduct patrols of your own even in public areas, just be sure to make a full report when you're done. As an NCO you are also to assist in the various Drill Sessions, you may be assigned to the position of Drill Instructor.

Officer/CO ranks: Major, Captain, Lieutenant, 2nd Lieutenant

As an officer you are responsible for the men beside you. Keyword here is leadership. You must always be prepared to make a tough decision. You are also to be a role model for the new recruits coming in. When we are out on various operations it is the highest ranking officer who does the talking with whomever we may encounter, an officer may however let lower ranking troopers handle it if the officer wish to test them, this also goes for leading the squad. Your duty as an officer requires you to remain in touch with the unit as much as possible.
