Something was missing. No, maybe it was there within his reach but he never went for it. Now what was it? This "thing" that walked into his life multiple times every century he carried on? At times he did grab ahold of it but one final situation made him hesitate for the rest of his life. That kind of thing would cause anyone to think twice before pouring so much energy into it again. Karna reflected on this day and night, and even more so when the obstacle appeared before him again and again. Oh yes, the question... what exactly was it that he struggled with so much? Love. It wasn't always the type where two entered a romantic relationship with one another. There was also the friendship side of love. He met many people in his lifetime and quite a bit of them passed on. Karna was very attached to his close friends as if they were family. Each one hurt him slightly different but one instance really impacted his trust. That one was why he struggled so much.
With those different emotions going back and forth, he sometimes found one person that somehow was able to override them and make him seem normal. This person would have to captivate him entirely. A truly beautiful and bizarre person. Karna had found such a person to take over his mind. Maybe not literally but she technically was responsible for his traveling to Ryloth today. So in a way... she was controlling him whether either of them knew it or not. A good amount of time had passed since they'd last conversed. He was unsure of what became of her and he spent every day with that on his mind. Karna wished to find out sooner but he expected her to be busy with her organization's work. All he could do is wait until she walked into his coffee shop again. Well, that was his thoughts before he instinctively went off to search for her. Even without closing the shop and telling his staff members. It would be alright though. Every single one of his workers knew this old man only left his shop for the most important of reasons.
Karna went to the only place where he'd have any luck finding the young lady. Ryloth. Interesting he came to that conclusion, yes? He was only fortunate enough to be around her people a few times but they were a very well known faction in the large galaxy. Having known which group she belonged to within the faction gave him a better idea of where she might've been. Of course he wasn't a famous detective or anything. Karna wasn't dumb but calling him smart was also wrong. He used his connections, the few he had left and got some basic information. He realized sking someone else in the Confederacy probably would've made things a lot easier, after having gone through this whole other process. Either way he was on his way to search a possible location where she could be staying. Karna was kinda nervous when he landed, for multiple reasons. He had been warned of witches during the young lady's first conversation with him. She told him some... interesting things bout the witches. Needless to say he was prepared to fight if they tried to take him off.
He turned off the ship and took in a deep breath, releasing it slowly. "You must be here, Gummie Bear." Karna mumbled those words before standing up and heading for the exit. His attire was pretty simple, an outfit he'd wear out on a job. The only weapon on him was his lightsaber, and he kept it out of sight so he wouldn't be provoking people on accident. He probably be seen as a dangerous animal already though. Abnormal gold-colored eyes, unusually sharp chompers, pointed ears, and tail behind him. He sighed, "Is she really in this darkness?" Darkness felt like the right word because he could feel it all around, not just in terms of day and night. Having no invitation was sure to bring trouble his way. Still, he'd find his best friend.
