Axxila was an odd world. Coruscant but inside out was the way travellers referred to it. The city wide planet was essentially a great big bubble with buildings extending from the floor of the cavern and from its celings. It made it feel very claustrophobic for some, and secure for others. Essac cared for none of this. It was simply his home.

It had been a rather profitable morning so far. He had managed to swipe a couple of credit chits, and a coupon for half off at the local Bantha steak joint, but that he had found discarded in a trash can. Still, he had enough for a decent room, and a half way decent hole in the wall place. He just needed something to add to his growing pool of money that he was saving to get off world. So he waited, sitting with his back to a cold stone pillar in an alcove to the side of a Alderaani bakery.

How about...no...hand in their pockets...

What about...no...they are walking to fast...

His eyes darted from person to person, looking for someone that was simply wandering. Wandering people tended to stop and browse, they were more likely to not pay attention and accidentally bump into someone, or at least believe that they had.

Her...yes...her...

A girl, about his age perhaps, was taking her time as she walked down the street. Essac jumped to his feet and brushed himself off. With a wave to the baker, who simply looked incredulously at the lariken, Essac was off down the road with a smile on his face. As the girl approached, Essac's fingers twitched a little. it was almost time...almost there.

Bump

"So sorry," he said to the girl, "I must have my head in the clouds."

Having never seen clouds in person, he thought it an odd expression to pull out at that moment.

"Forgive me," he said, before turning about and moving away at a quicker pace.

Rounding a corner, Essac broke into a sprint. He ran as fast as he could before clambering over a fence, and running along an alley. Finally, he found a seat on an upturned bucket beside a compactor. It was then, and only then, that he took time to examine his score. He opened the pouch and gazed inside.

What else would a wanderer do than wander around the galaxy? It was just another typical day, Lilin had come to Axxila where she had never been to before. It was a fun little planet a lot like Coruscant -- it was all a city, an ecumenopolis. She lived in one, so she had a special place in heart for these planets. But all of them were different. She'd seen many of these, Nar Shaddaa - the planet of crime - and Coruscant - the galactic capital - the most outstanding of them.

She was just walking around the planet when suddenly a man bumped into her. It hurt slightly and she had a feeling of falling down, but a comforting fact was that these things just happened on such planets and there was nearly no way to prevent these from happening.

She didn't say a word to the man; just continued walking a few good metres until she found herself near an interesting shop. An only then did she realise what the man had done.

Her head turned towards the corner where the man had most likely went. If she used her powers, she could technically catch him some way. She wouldn't let thieves run around the galaxy like that.

She broke into a run, trying to focus on sensing the man at the same time. It was difficult, considering how busy the streets were. As soon as she made it to the corner, she had no clue of where to go next. The traffic at that street was not as huge as it was on the previous one, so she could utilise more of Force Sense to find out the man's location.

But what if she did not find him? What if he was so far that she couldn't catch him? What if he had already disappeared?

It was so easy. As Esaac slid the brick back in place, he congratulated himself on his brilliance, after all, you had to be good to be this good. As he stepped back, he took on a very casual demenour and made as though he had just woken up. There was no point in someone that might see him there thinking he was doing anything like perhaps...hiding a new treasure.

Wandering nonchalantly back into the foot traffic, Esaac made his way around groups of people looking for the perfect opportunity. His mind was completely on to the next mission, the next mark...so when he came face to face with this prior mark...he was not really paying attention properly.

Making eye contact, more out of an innate sense of guilt than anything else, Esaac did not take long to snap to realization. "Oh crap..."

Turning he broke into sprint, instantly ramming shoulder first into some Rodian who was walking the direction that he to was once walking. The Rodian cursed, and found himself man handled by Esaac into being a human shield. Esaac shoved the Rodian in the way of the young woman he had robbed, and took off as fast as his feet could take him...in the opposite direction of his hiding place.

Lilin continued running, trying to make her way to the direction where the man must have been. She should have been more careful, especially on a planet she had never been to before. And of course, she shouldn't have taken such valuable things with her. But the past was the past and it was not to be changed in any way. The only thing she could do was to fix the mistake she had done.

And catch the robber.

Some time later she did notice the man and tried to move her legs faster, which was a difficult thing. But when a Rodian was pushed in her direction, she was not prepared at all, so her legs failed her and she fell on the ground.

Ugh.

Before rising up again, she took a deep breath. The thief was fast, but she felt like she could catch him. Some way. Or something. Maybe with the Force? Although, she was not the best at using any Force powers.

She stood up and continued running in the direction she saw the man going.

"Stop!" she shouted to him.

This was his city. It was his home. Running into a alley way, Esaac gave everything he could to the sprint. It was important for him to stay away from populated areas. That would attract attention and attention was not welcome when you were a thief running from your victim, nor when you were a runaway hiding from your family who were actively looking for you.

For a moment, he spared a second to look backwards as he ran...

OOF

...straight into a junkie.

Esaac shook his head as he stood. "Hey man...watchya...whereya goin'..."

Furrowing his brow, he just glared at the man who was clearly an idiot for getting in his way. "There is a dealer coming...a girl...she has good stuff..."

With that he pushed passed the hindrance, and hoped that she was not to close by. Approaching a fence, Esaac ran attempting to climb and jump over. Unfortunately for the young escapee, he found his footing less than stellar as he jumped, but first slipped on some grease. Smashing into the fence, he cursed loudly before pulling himself up and over the fence.

The girl ran towards the man, but there seemed to be no chance of getting any closer to him. She should have started going jogging a lot earlier than a week before this incident. She was not a very good runner, she had to admit, and it was time for her to take a break. If she used the Force and perhaps even meditated, she could have later found out where the man was.

So she stopped.

And a man came to her with a want for some drugs or spices or whatever he wanted. The girl didn't even pay much attention to that. "I don't have anything!" was everything she told the man before she would start walking away.

But the dude grabbed her from her collar and demanded for her to sell him things.

"I was told you had some good stuff!"

"No, i don't. I am not a dealer," the girl shouted. Then she remembered the Jedi Mind Trick. Perhaps she could make the man leave with that? "I don't have anything you want," she said while wiping her hand in the ait from one side to another.

It seemed to work.
