- Description: The ancient Yovshin from the first empress of Atrisia's kitel phard dynasty. The ovshin have served the will of the troyal family for thousands of years and refined their methods of fighting developing the jar'kai blades. From their armor that is golden in color to their sharp blades and iron will. There are few on Atrisia who can match them in terms of skill and prowess. From the time they are brought into the Yovshin they are baptized in combat and training, trained to never surrender, never falter in their service to the emperor. Taught that death in service is the greatest glory they could achieve.

- Membership: Chosen from the military or the navy because of their skills, the Yocshin are often considered the pinnacle of Atrisian martial prowess. With blade skills and unending loyalty to the Emperor and Empress.
Yovshin: The first army and military arm of Atrisia. Founded with the Jade Empress in the unification wars, they have served loyally the wills of Atrisian emperors since the first Dynasty was founded in 25,200 BBY. THey are considered the personal guards of the royal family.
Onna-bugeisha: Mothers of Atrisia, when the Yovshin females have a child they are allowed to leave to raise them until they come of an age to be sent to the military prep school. Then if they wish to they may return to service in a new division that protects the children and future of Atrisia. Generally staying on the planet they are considered the last line of defense should everyone else fall.
Tenchu: A newer division of the swordsmen that has embraced its force users capabilities. Training and honing their skills into weapons just as sharp as their swords. They are not the inquisition who forced service upon them but they do recruit the majority of force users into their ranks. - Climate: Rigorously controlled and focused, they don't kill without a purpose their own people but there is nothing done half measured.
- Reputation: Highly respected across Atrisia and often considered the beings of legend as usually the greatest fighters have been trained Yovshin. They are Atrisians to look up to and if they fall it is generally seen as one of the greatest shames a family could face.

Onna - Dark and dangerous Yovshin who have been exiled from the corp and taken in by Sawa. They are a darker mirror to the honorable swordsmen.
Junko's Yovshin Swordsmen - Elire troopers who followed JUnko after many families fled Atrisia and have been by her side for years.
Junko's Onna-bugeisha - A new group that formed after many of her Yovshin perished escaping Atrisia and seeking vengeance.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The First Generation: The earliest Yovshin were formed by the Jade Empress during the unification wars of Atrisian. To serve as her elite guards and protect her son who would one day rule. Before their iconic dueling blades the were very different. Using jeweled metal shields and naganita pole arms. The look was more warriors who have been immortalized with legends of their power and skills. Able to stand as giants in battle where they faced legions and each one felled thousands without expending effort. They have always been titans of legend sometimes regarded as tall as mountains. Tales of Zhong who defended Khathai pass to buy time for the emperor to escape assassination. Decimating the Scarlet circle and their attempts to overtake and rule.
There were more tales about their battles at sea and in the sky in the dirgables the empress made that saw distinction from the yovshin recruit Yun who dueled a self proclaimed lord of the seas and tackled him off the edge of his airship through the deck of his flagship to be pierced on hisown spear. The first generation was an age of heroes for Atrisia as its unity was tested and slowly solidified into a military force. The First Armies of Atrisia outnumbered the elite Yovshin but they always had the purpose of protecting the royal family not the people in general. So being replaced there was fine.. they remained loyal and secluded in the palace with tales of them coming out from time to time depicting them as the most honorable and most standing to the ideals of the Atrisian people.
The middle generations saw differences, gone were the random pieces of armor... where they would usually wear what they had and could find now they wore uniforms. Where they used shields and naginata polearms... they had evolved into the first dueling swords of jar'kai.... and most importantly where they were blunt instruments... now they stood as a powerful fighting force. Professional, highly trained and spending their time when not protecting the emperor, empress or royal family outside of the Imperial palace.. they were spending it refining their sword arts, warfare... they were constantly training and testing themselves. The results were strong and dangerous warriors who were rarely able to be matched by the soldiers of Atrisia and under The Onyx Empress.
She saw them split. Where honor demanded that they would serve her they wouldn't fight against her enemies... where duty called for them to defend her they were not going to just kill random citizens. THis led to her creation of the Onna, Yovshin who were considered dishonorable.. who would do as she wanted not for duty or loyalty but because they were paid more. The onna grew stronger and more numerous taking over two of the fortresses that she had constructed. The war between the traditional Yovshin and the Onna was something to behold as brother and sister could fight each other... battles drawn out and destructive when Paikang was destroyed and the in the streets of Jar'kai the two sides fought. The Onna eventually being defeated when Seiryutō fell in combat.
The onna were exiled from the Yovshin, their second in command the traitor Ryuubi who turned against the Yovshin. He set explosives i the halls of Kaikang and destroyed it to kill as many as he could. With his exile and the rest of the Onna being cast out into the harsher regions. They did not give them a second though but the Onna never forgot and worked to try and rebuild themselves over the years and eventually decades. The first Shokatsukin rebellion was instigated when Shiyu emerged as a strong enough fighter to unite the different factions within the Onna. Uniting them under the banner of war. The first rebellion lasted the longest and saw sections of Jar'kai razed to the ground in the resulting battle as the Royal family decreed that the Onna were enemies of the people.
The wars between the two sides with the yovshin gaining the aid of the military and in many cases the people saw them as heroes as the Onna would test out their weapons on them. Preforming strikes to test the sharpness... the final fight of the first rebellion saw Shiyu perish in a fire fighting at the Imperial palalce. Two yovshin Chouru and Un-Chou fought through the Onna and sacrificed themselves to rescue the Quicksilver Empress and her son at the cost of their lives and several others they had failed to save. With the rebellion put down centuries passed before more rebellions came and went each one getting harder to maintain on the side of the Onna as more and more their number dwindled compared to the Yovshin who refined their fighting styles to utilize the jar'kai blades and their armor.
The later generations continued to refine and define what the Yovshin were, by the time of the resurgance of the Atrisian Empire under Akio Kahoshi the Yovshin were able to serve as some of the finest soldiers and when the emperor fell and the sith conquerors came they were struck down. Between the netherworld and gulag plague their numbers were much smaller and fleeing with few royals and court who were still around. They added a few colonies back until the reunification of Atrisia that ushered in the Jishi era. With three of the Yovshin distinguishing themselves to lead not just the yovshi but also the general army against the invaders and at best just making it not worth the time to stay on the planet. The yovshin restored themselves in the different royal palaces forming divisions instead of one central group in an area.
The changes of the Jishi era saw other aspects of them changing, the Onna-Bugeisha were acknowledged...a sort of yovshin retirement as the females who were within the ranks if they had chldren were usually allowed to leave but now they were welcomed to return. To raise the numbers and keep experienced fighters who could help train and teach the newer generations as they were adjusting to some of the other changes. Failsafes, rebuilding and expansion as the emperor along with
Shoma Ike
went through diplomatic channels and ties to the older commonwealth worlds seeking them out.
Junko Ike
working and assigned with the empress to work on the internals of Atrisia such as restructuring and restoring the continents that had been ravaged.
