- After the Final Dawn's takeover of the Zero Corporation's assets on Schesa, they quickly moved forth to re-organize the societal hierarchy of Schesa in order to align it with the traditional Pure Neo-Imperialist ideology of the Final Dawn. As such, a collection of Loyal Neo-Imperialist Humans and O'reenians would be placed at the apex of local Schesan Society while former Zero Corporation employees and local natives would be treated as Second-class citizens as punishment for their defiance limited only to lower strata roles along with Cathar slaves imported from the world of Cathay, another planet current under the Final Dawn's Occupation
- Wealth: Medium
- As the Final Dawn's primary base of operations on Schesa, the Foundry contains most of the wealth acquired via the seizure of all of the Zero Corporation's assets scattered throughout the planet, which included their financial assets. This along with the Cheap Labor provided by Cathar Slaves has enabled the Foundry to maintain a considerable amount of wealth which is projected to only increase due to the Site's growing contribution to the Final Dawn War Machine which in turn further enrich the many corporations that operate within the vast industrial metropolis
- Stability: High
- Since the restoration of the Final Dawn's authority on Schesa, Martial Law has been imposed across the planet in order to prevent former Zweihander Union members and the natives from rising up against the Final Dawn. As such, the Foundry is subject to a heavy military presence while COMPPOR's Office of Neo-Imperial Veracity and Hand of Purification work tirelessly to further indoctrinate the rebellious citizens through propaganda and more subversive means. In addition, various measures have been put into place to control the masses which have included tight restrictions, censorship and curfews along with an extensive surveillance system designed to prevent any sort of rebellion and at the very least, put down such a rebellion as soon as it erupts, ensuring that Final Dawn rule over the Foundry remains regardless of the opposition they face
- Freedom & Oppression:
- The Foundry is essentially your typical totalitarian police state, where the freedoms individuals previously enjoyed under the Zweihander Union and with the Zero Corporation having been virtually eradicated. As such, to further tighten their grip on the citizens of the Foundry, major outlets such as the HoloNet have been regularly monitored and censored by COMPPOR in order to prevent the people of the Foundry from developing "problematic" ideas. In addition to that, there is a considerable military presence as both Final Dawn Armed Forces and COMPPOR Collaborationist Militas constantly monitor monitor intersections and other important locations. Those who deviate from the societal norms imposed by the Final Dawn are sent towards "rehabilitation" Camps operated by the Hand of Purification in order to ensure that they properly adjust themselves to Final Dawn Rule and become proper citizens that can contribute to the further growth of the Final Dawn
- Description:
- The Foundry, is a major fortified industrial metropolis and the de facto capital city of Schesa, built upon the ruins of the former Capital City of Schesa, which had been destroyed during an orbital bombardment carried out by the Zweihander Union who once ruled over the planet from this very location. Given that it is heavily fortified, the Foundry is home to a significant concentration of military and paramilitary assets of the Final Dawn while remaining under constant martial law, considering the planet's past as the capital world of the Zweihander Union and the continued presence of pockets of resistance across the Planet. As an Industrial Metropolis, the Foundry is home to massive factories and workshops which produce a variety of both military and civilian equipment in order to further expand and strengthen the Final Dawn's growing War Machine. As such most of the Foundry 's civilian Population is comprised of lower-strata slaves and laborers most of whom have been imported from other Final Dawn occupied planets in the case of the former, or have either been former employees of the Zero Corporation in the case of the latter, with only a small minority of individuals mostly Final Dawn Human and O'reenian Collaborators holding middle and upper-strata professions.
- The Grand Citadel | Formerly the estate of a major Chiss Family and previously utilized as a core component of the Zweihander Union's Chancellery of Unity, the Grand Citadel has been appropriated by the Final Dawn to serve as it's primary base of operations within the Foundry and Schesa as a whole. It is here where the Local Overseer resides, governing the Planet and it's populace from the Citadel. The Citadel is often frequented by various Officers and Bureaucrats who as a part of the local Military Administration, partake in the management of the day-to-day affairs throughout the Foundry and by extension Schesa, with the Citadel housing various facilities including a main lobby and cafeteria, a few officers and conference rooms in addition to holding numerous security posts throughout the upper levels containig various peices of heavy equipment utilized for the defense of the Citadel against enemy attack.
- The Industrial Sector | Covering up to one-thirds of the Foundry is the Industrial Sector, comprised of numerous industrial facilities that are operated by dozens of Corporate Interests that have supported the Final Dawn throughout the Second Great Hyperspace War and beyond in addition to smaller local corporations that have thrived within Final Dawn Space, through their contribution to it's War Effort. As such, much of the facilities within the Industrial Sector are dedicated to further fueling the Final Dawn's Military-Industrial Complex and to a lesser extent it's Civilian Economy, with each factory/workshop always remaining in operation in order to maximize the output of equipment and materials, employing both former employees of the Zero Corporation and Cathar Slaves imported from the Final Dawn occupied world of Cathay in order to keep up with the extreme quotas demanded by the various Corporate Overseers that manage the facilities scattered across the Industrial Sector.
- TBD Orbital Skyhook | Located in orbit of Schesa, far above the Foundry, is an orbital skyhook connected directly to a large terminal within the Industrial Sector in order to achieve it's primary function in ferrying the various equipment and materials produced throughout the Industrial Sector in orbit via tethered turbolifts in order to facilitate their transportation to other locations such as Shipyards and Military Bases. The Skyhook is comprised primarily of two major turbolift hooks, one of which transports freshly produced materials and equipment to be ferried off-world while the other sends down raw materials and components to the Industrial Sector in order to be crafted into new starships, vehicles and other important peices of technology vital to the Neo-Imperial Military-Industrial Complex and Civilian Economy.
- TBD Station | Connected to the rest of The Foundry via the The TBD Orbital Skyhook is TBD Station, a modified TBD utilized primarily to store all forms of resources and equipment sent to and from the Foundry, with the Station being split into two main sections each containing numerous docking bays for the constant stream of vessels that both receive goods sent from the Foundry as well as vessels that deposited raw materials used to produce said goods.
- Camp Mindran | Camp Mindran is one of many Neo-Imperial Gulags operated by the Final Dawn that are primarily utilized to house dissidents who oppose the continued rule of the Final Dawn over the Foundry. Here these dissidents are subject to daily sessions of regular torture sessions and "reprogramming" attempts designed to forcibly brainwash them into adhering into the ideals of the Final Dawn with the only alternative being a long and agonizing slow death through these sessions. Mimicking the brutal tactics utilized by it's sister facility on O'reen, Camp Locphet, the wardens of Camp Mindran have been known to use extremely cruel torture devices to break their victims and inflict as much pain and suffering as they can while keeping them alive for as long as possible in order to ensure either compliance in the short-term or death in the long-term.
- TBD | Located near the Grand Citadel is the TBD, which acts as the Local Base of Operations for COMPPOR within the Metropolis. It is here where all COMPPOR activity within both Schesa and the Schesa System are overseen, ensuring that the ideals and tenets of the Final Dawn are enforced while also ensuring that all forms of resistance are nipped in the bud as soon as they show up and that the industrial sector continues to operate at maximum efficiency in order to further sustain the War Machine of the Final Dawn. To this end given it's function, TBD has been nicknamed by the residents of the Foundry as the "Citadel of Despair" due to it's role in maintaining the Final Dawn's rule over the Metropolis.
- Fort TBD | Located near the Industrial Sector is Fort TBD, which is a IM-456 modular fortress first assembled by the Final Dawn upon reaffirming it's presence on Schesa, acting as it's initial base of operations until the Grand Citadel was rebuilt. Since then, Fort TBD serves as the primary Military Base within the Foundry, housing a large garrison comprised of around 3,000 Soldiers who are supported by Heavy Vehicles and Starfighters both of which are well suited for urban warfare. The Garrison of TBD are often used to support the Local COMPPOR Milita in enforcing the laws and regulations imposed by the Final Dawn upon the populace ensuring that any form of disobedience is nipped in the bud before it can escalate into a fully-fledged rebellion.
Security Rating : Maximum
Following the example of the fortified cities of O'reen, TBD is a heavily militarized metropolis defended by a considerable garrison which itself is supported by local militias and additional naval and starfighter units that ensure that any local insurrection or external attack is meet with a swift and overwhelming response, making it hard for even the most powerful factions to take TBD without incurring major casualties.
Under Ne0-Imperial Rule, TBD hosts a standard military garrison comprised of 3,000 Neo-Imperial Brutetroopers in addition to a local militarized police force comprised of over 10,000 COMPPOR Security Troopers who are mainly tasked with enforcing the laws and mandates imposed by the Final Dawn upon their return to Schesa, as well as snuffing out any pockets of resistance and guarding important facilities such as Industrial Plants and Administrative Buildings. In addition to this, the Brutetroopers and COMPPOR Security Troopers are supported by around 2,500 Glory-II Dark Troopers who provide the local garrison and military police force with extra strength and manpower against both external and internal threats.
In order to maintain order throughout TBD, surveillance and propaganda are commonplace with COMPPOR Security Troopers being stationed at every street corner, while patrolling VH-280 ISVs and AT-RWs constantly roamed the street in addition to the Politorate Operatives lurking around most public areas with eyes and ears open for any words of sedition or treasonous act against the Final Dawn. The Skies above TBD themselves are no stranger to the draconian practices of the Final Dawn as TIE Terminators constantly patrol the skies to monitor vessels headed to and from TBD along with Autonomous Reconnaissance Drones that support ground forces below keeping tabs on the civilians, especially suspected dissidents allowing the Final Dawn to know where most if not all civilians are at all times when they are not under the direct observation of ground operatives.
Meanwhile, in orbit of TBD a considerable Fleet stands guard above the heavily fortified metropolis, serving as the first line of defense against possible hostile external attacks, and...
