Yzak’s years of service are etched into his face. A lifetime of war has left the old, wrinkled man scarred. To look at his face, is to look at all the battles he’s fought. The once proud soldier has aged. His skin has become wrinkly, and his impressive build has faded. He looks very much like a man drawing ever closer to his death. But despite it all, he carries it with a dignified look.
The military has shaped him to be a very disciplined man. He is not one to have outbursts of anger, or sorrow. He is calm under pressure, and does not frighten. He is a natural leader, who speaks with an authoritative tone.

Yzak does not usually wield weapons, but in cases of severe desperation, he may use his wooden cane as a makeshift melee weapon.
The life of a Will would be a wealthy one, were it not for the philanthropic tendencies of Yzak. He genuinely cared for his people, and did everything he could to help him. A vast majority of his money was donated to those in need. Now he stands as a man of humble wealth.
Yzak’s crippled leg has robbed him of any combat ability he once had. He can’t swing a sword, or accurately fire a blaster. His old age has also made him quite fragile. Any fighting would be a useless gesture on his part.
While his military skills have diminished, his political skills have been honed to a fine edge. He has proved to be an excellent governor, and his outstanding charisma makes him an admirable diplomat.
Strengths:
Respected: His years of service, and appointment to Will of Ruan, has garnered him much respect.
Wisdom: Through a lifetime of experiences in war and politics, he has amassed much wisdom. When he speaks, others should heed his words.
Charisma: Yzak speaks with a undeniable charisma, and is able to convince others of his views.
Weaknesses:
Age: Yzak is long past his prime. He has aged to the point where he cannot wield a blade, or fire a blaster with any reliability.
Crippling Injury: Yzak’s crippling injury makes it very difficult for him to walk unassisted. He is forced to use a cane, which makes him incredibly slow.
Yzak’s only notable possession is his wooden cane. An antique, with years and years of use evident. The grip is molded into an ergonomic shape, to help him grip the cane easier.
Yzak’s patriotism knew no bounds. He did not join the army due to a personal loss, nor out of desperation. He joined because he wished to serve. Yzak steadily climbed the ranks of the military. In doing so, he came to command a great many soldiers. One such soldier was a young Isamu Baelor. The boy was lost. Alone in the world, with nothing to clutch onto. It was his duty to take care of the boy, and look out for him. Over time, he would come to serve as a father figure to the young boy.
Yzak did not choose when his military career came to an end. A rogue grenade exploded in near proximity to him. The shrapnel shredded his left leg. He would have died right there, on the battlefield, had his soldiers not fought bravely to defend their injured leader.
The medical staff managed to save his leg, but the damage would never heal. He was offered a cybernetic replacement, but he refused the amputation. Over the years, he had seen his fill of death. Had enough of informing the families of the death of their beloved ones. It was his time to rest. His duty to fight had come to an end.
His career-ending injury did not stifle his want to serve the empire, and its people. He returned to his home planet of Ruan, and ran for office. His military service, and his care for his people, made him very popular. He rode this momentum, eventually gaining a position of political power. It was a first step, one which would eventually lead to him becoming the Will of Ruan.
