Following the induction of Rodia into the Confederacy of Independent Systems, a camaraderie was born between the world's Yuuzhan Vong population and the quickly-growing nation. The result of this relationship was the creation of several unique armaments and vessels for usage by the Confederacy. Amongst these were the descendant of the famous Coralskipper of old: The YZV-000 Txiin Starfighter. Named after the Yuuzhan Vong deity of Hatred, the Txiin Starfighter is was born of the same Shaping methods that had characterized the Yuuzhan Vong Fleet centuries prior. As such, the end result was a vessel of the same swiftness of its ancestor, albeit armed with a new assortment of armaments compliments of recent advancements.
Like the ancestral Yorik-et from which the Txiin Starfighter was born, the heart of the vessel is quite literally the Dovin Basal affixed to its underbelly. This creature acts as both the propulsion system and shield projector for the entire ship, though the effectiveness of both functions fluctuate depending upon the motion of the starfighter. When stationary, the Dovin Basal is capable of utilizing its gravity-projection abilities to an exceptional degree, thereby sucking away enemy fighter fire into the miniature singularities it can conjure. However, whilst in motion the Dovin Basal focuses upon giving the vessel an unparalleled sum of maneuverability, and thereby the shield capability plummets to a level inferior to that of standard deflector shields.
It is noted that one of the more "controversial" updates to the ship's design is a specialized cognition hood. In the era past, the archaic cognition hood would only allow for Yuuzhan Vong to effectively pilot their vessels. However, this incarnation of the cognition hood allows for any sentient species to effectively communicate with their ship, thereby allowing the skilled pilots of the Confederacy to utilize the Txiin Starfighter to its maximum potential. All in all, the Txiin Starfighter is a rather capable update of the Yorik-et and is poised to serve the Confederacy admirably until the time of the organic vessels' eventual passing.
