STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

Strength - Emotions: Zadis is able to be aware of when his emotions are getting the better of him and draw himself out of unnecessary emotional states. He rarely ever rages in anger, weeps with sadness or appears overjoyed. For many, Zadis can be seen as stoic or emotionless, but this is in fact far from the truth.

Strength - Determined: When there is a goal in mind, Zadis sticks to it like glue. He isn't, however, stubborn; even he can accept defeat and realize when it is better to retreat. When cornered, however, he will not surrender easily; he values his life above all else.

Weakness - Addictive Personality: For some reason, when out in public, people tend to walk up to him and start conversations. Zadis is not the conversationalist, so he often becomes very awkward when confronted in such a way. This becomes especially cumbersome when he is trying not to be noticed in public.

Weakness - Naïve: Outside of his restrictive family life on Utapau, Zadis' contact with the wider galaxy has been limited, and this has led to unforeseen predicaments; for example, Zadis stumbled his way into an audience with a Hutt with no previous concepts about what a Hutt even was. Every day for him is a learning experience, for better or for worse.

APPEARANCE:

No Face Grooves: Unless otherwise noted, his face lacks the edged grooves normal for a Pau'an, which easily sets him apart of members of his mother's race and confirms his status as a "half-breed".

BIOGRAPHY:

• Zadis was born on Utapau to their mother, Kela, a noblewoman of moderate financial status; Zadis' father was known, a Sith Warrior named Chupa La'Roi, but he died just prior to Zadis' day of maturity. Zadis has no memories of their father, only what their mother told them: their father was brash, arrogant and for a time, charming. His reckless nature, however, spelled his downfall, and his name was stricken from data regarding Zadis' birth records. As far as Kela's lineage was concerned, Zadis was a child born by miracle alone.

• Zadis was raised by a nursemaid and taught by a private tutor. Kela had grown distrustful of the outside world after her time with Chupa, and forbade Zadis from leaving their ancestral cavern home. Zadis would watch other children play from the glass of their home and imagine being outside with the other children. In their youth, this would cause them to cry and weep, which the nursemaid dealt with with corporal punishment; hardened over the years, Zadis internalized his feelings efficiently. By the age of 16, they never looked outside out of habit.

• At the age of maturity, Zadis was given the opportunity to leave Utapau and establish their own businesses elsewhere. Attached to their mother, Zadis chose to stay on Utapau and assist Kela in the running of his own corporations. It was here that Zadis learned that a business deal over droids was how Kela had met Chupa. Their father had appeared to have been trying to raise his own droid army, but failed completely in understanding the very system of droid manufacturing. Kela had tried to assist him, but Chupa took it as an opportunity to develop a relationship. When Kela announced her pregnancy to Chupa weeks later, he had fled and never returned.

• Two years prior to now, Zadis had left Utapau after the sudden passing of their mother due to sudden organ failure. Making it their quest to find their father and inform him of Kela's passing, Zadis spent the last two years trying to track down the criminal their father had become. Only one month ago, Zadis found their father's burial mound, located on Kashyyyk. Chupa had spent time living here, and a kindly Wookiee had guided Zadis to the gravesite. Zadis whispered to their father the news of Kela's passing, made record of the grave's location on a datapad, and took a transport to the nearest Human-friendly Wookiee colony start his new life.
