GENERAL INFORMATION

• Fleet Name: Correlian Expansionary Defense Fleet Sector 002/CEDF2
• Classification: System Defense Fleet
• Affiliation: The Correlian Confederation
• Fleet Symbol: Unlike the Correlian Home Fkeet and the Soaring First Fleet, the CEDF2 has the Confederations original emblem as it's fleet symbol, reminding the crews of the various starships that are assigned to it that they serve only one purpose and that is to defend Mother Correlia.
• Description: The defeat of the Core Imperial Confederation ultimately led to a large swath of Imperial Warlords inhibiting the Core Federations strongholds and civilian populations alike, leaving border worlds like Had Abbadon vunrebale to attack. In order to insure the security of the various worlds that bordered the former territory of the Core Federation, several dozen of the best warships of the Correlian Confederation were assembled at Humbraine and Balmorra in order to serve as the primary fleet engaged in defending against harassing Imperials. Some of the most advanced Warships went into the cultivation of this fleet, leaving no boarder world, contrary to what many would say, unprotected.

• Lead Ship: CDF Excalibur, a Watch Tower Class Battle Cruise
• Composition: The Composition of the fleet is very versitale, depending on the state of the fleet. Due to the fact the primary mission of the Fleet is to defend the various border Worlds of the Confederation, it has several states per say, that demand certain fleet formations. During Situation Green, the Fleet is divided into a total of 17 Task Forces with each being assigned to a certain planet or swath of space across the territory of the Correlian Federation. During Situation Orange, the Fleet is assigned to two separate Strike Forces that are always on high alert in order to be able to quell any and all attacks that may occur. During Situation Red, the entirety of the fleet is assembled in order to protect the best Intrests of the Correlian Confederation.
