STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
STRENGTHS
APPEARANCE:
Zahd is an older man of slightly above average height and weight. For his age, he has a lean and muscular frame and wide-set shoulders, if not slightly hunched. His complexion is fair, though fine lines and a somewhat ruddy complexion are evidence of his advancing age and the wearing nature of his life.
His eyes may have once been striking in his youth, their blue tint contrasting with his fiery orange hair. Today, however, both hair and eyes have dulled to mere hints of their previous hues. Zahd wears his hair at medium length, usually combed backward and tamed behind his ears. For the last decade or longer he has maintained a neat, short beard. He has a prominent, often furrowed, brow and a sharp nose.
As for attire, Zahd is not ostentatious. Simplicity and utility tend to prevail in his clothing choices. As such, it has not been difficult for him to become accustomed to donning simple Jedi robes while training as a Padawan.
BIOGRAPHY:
On the day of the Sith raid, Duzka Calindor was ready to die.
Ord Thoden had been a simple enough place to call home. His days as a mercenary had given way years before to a quiet life manufacturing ships for various private and military interests across the galaxy. There had been time for an honest career and for a wife. For two daughters. It was simpler than traipsing across the galaxy fulfilling contracts for theft or intimidation, and the once angry (and sometimes violent) Duzka had grown a soul, little by little, on silent nights at home.
He had been off-world when it happened, accompanying a fleet of starfighters being delivered to a company of mercenaries on a planet in the Core. When his delegation from the shipbuilding firm returned, they were intercepted by the Sith Empire navy. Duzka watched his homeward burning from well beyond the atmosphere. He never saw his family die, but he felt it. He felt it the way he had, for years, felt things and pretended not to. He had heard the words for these things. He had even faced Jedi and Sith in his younger days. Those powers, he knew, came at the cost of freedom or sanity, depending on the flavor of overlord. Duzka had never had an interest in exploring what those sensations were beyond knowing there was more to every lucky shot he was able to take or adversary he had been able to talk down in the heat of a battle.
But now Duzka Calindor was ready to die. Unable to remove himself from the galaxy after a period of wandering, he instead shed his identity and resolved to take up the impersonality of the Jedi Code as his form of suicide. It was thus that Zahd Cornett, a man well past his prime, was born on the doorstep of the Order of the Silver Jedi.

STRENGTHS
- Military Man: Zahd’s past as a soldier makes him relatively skilled with blasters, hand-to-hand combat, and fighter piloting.
- I’ve Been Around: Zahd is familiar with many of the peoples and cultures of the galaxy.
- From a Certain Point of View: Zahd has a natural empathy, and plays the role of mediator well.
- Old Dog at Ground Zero: Zahd has lived in denial of his Force Sensitivity for so long that he is relatively closed off to new teachings. His cardinal shortcoming is a stubborn pride.
- Haunted: Zahd’s past losses have made him apathetic to personal relationships; he rarely confides in or truly trusts allies.
- Act Your Age: While strong for his age, Zahd is not a soldier in his physical prime.
