• Zahim Markona was born on Hubin, a small inhabited moon orbiting a gas giant in the Outer Rim of the galaxy. He was the latest in a long line of leaders for Clan Markona, a proud and noble family that had ruled over their people for generations. From a young age, Zahim was taught the ways of leadership, strategy, and combat, as well as the importance of protecting his people from outside threats.
  
  For centuries, Clan Markona had found themselves in the middle of various wars between the light and dark sides of the Force. The cost of these conflicts had been immense, both in terms of lives lost and the damage inflicted on their lands and people. To survive and rebuild, the clan had turned back to their ancient ways as mercenaries, selling their skills as warriors and soldiers to the highest bidder.
  
  Over time, Zahim became disillusioned with the Jedi, Sith, and other wielders of the Force. He saw them as arrogant and misguided, believing that they knew what was best for the galaxy when they were, in fact, causing more harm than good. He believed that the using the Force always came with consequences that were neglected. The Force seeks balance, no matter the action. The greatest acts of the Light will be balanced by cruelty of the Dark. All the while, billions get caught in the middle.
  
  It was during this time that Zahim joined up with a cult known as the Path of the Open Hand. The members of this group shared his beliefs, seeing the use of the Force as a dangerous and immoral act. Zahim trained in martial arts, meditation, and other physical disciplines, seeking to strengthen his body and mind to help combat Force users. He has recently joined with Micheal Nox and his followers, for their goals currently align.​

  • Warrior's Heart: Zahim is a skilled warrior, renowned for his tactical brilliance and physical prowess. He has honed his martial arts and combat skills through years of training and experience, making him a formidable opponent to anyone who dared to cross him or his clan.
  • Ruler's Vision: Zahim is not only a formidable warrior but also a wise and compassionate leader. He has a deep sense of responsibility towards his people and always put their needs above all else. He is particularly known for his generosity towards refugees who fled from the conflicts between the Jedi and Sith, providing them with food, shelter, and protection.

  • Hater of Jedi: Zahim believes that the use of the Force is a dangerous and immoral act that threatens the stability and well-being of the common people. He equally despises Jedi, Sith, and all manner of Force wielder in between. He will not trust one in his presence.
  • Protective: Zahim is fiercely protective of his people and others who are displaced by conflicts between the Light and Dark sides of the Force. He sees it as his duty as a leader to ensure their safety and well-being at all costs. He is known to go to great lengths to protect his people, even if it means putting himself in harm's way.
