- Appearance: Fantastically beautiful like many Keisei, she was chosen because of it as a child and throughout the years worked hard to hone it. Physically fit with lithe muscles from gymnastics and long hair that covers half her face. Icy blue eyes that look at many and while the left side of her face is considered by many of her sisters impossibly beautiful. The right side is hidiously scarred from sith poison. Her skin havin its acidic effects dripped perfectly to marr her beauty but her nose, her eyes, her lips were left alone. Areas of her arm without damaging her wrist and hand, her stomach but not sensitive areas. The perfect punishment.

- Personality: Reserved and quiet now after her ordeals. There was a time when she was prideful and arrogant... renowned for her boasting and oozing a confident charm. She might not have been the most popular but she could make others want to be around her. Now that she runs the Hanamachi Ramen shop after her hospitalization she has become quiet and there is a sense of cruel anger under the surface as she hides her scars.

- Heavy scar tissue: Restricting some of her movements in her arm and neck. The burns from acidic sith poison and lightning have weakened Zanko.
- Lack of huge combat experience: While the keisei are trained in self defense they are not soldiers... basic running away or strike the sensitive areas but gunslinging and swords is not a thing asidefrom their guards at the Hanamachi.
Zanko was born in Jar'kai, the elder sister to Akikonomu Utsukushi-Sa who would become the third wive of the chamberlain. She though was presented to the Keisei Katsuyama who came to the city. Her beauty as a child was in many ways considered monsterous with pale ski, dark hair and icy blue eyes with the smallest flecks of jade in them with the right light. She was granted a position and taken to the Hanamachi where she entered the Floating world of the Keisei and began to study. Her early days though she didn't understand that she had been chosen but also sold wanting to try and find her sisters.. find her way home. The Katsuyama who taught her informing her after one of her escape attempts that she had been sold to them because of her potential and how much of an honor it was.
She spent the next several years learning... as an initiate who was taught song, dance, languages and conversational skills. Shown how to appeal without enticing the men and women of Atrisia because of her beauty... her make up and skills. She spent the years working under one of the elders and was assigned to a minor lord who was skilled in mining it seemed that helped them with operations in the mountains. Her skills were welcomed as she recorded everything he did and her entires were hidden. observing how he worked and the transactions as he believed her simply a pretty face who would adorn his home and be shown off. Zanko remained with him or a few years before being recalled and presenting much of her recordings to show how the mans skimming worked they were able to trick him and make hi out himself to the authorities in Kansai.
Zanko was assigned to the empress, her family was looking for someone to educate the youngest children and the wars and resistance had been... difficult. With everything happening the Keisei were largely left alone.. isolating themselves in the mountains and only being observers of the courts or lords. The One sith largely ignored them while ones like Mythos who attacked and went for adoration of the people by killing many of them who disagreed. With Akiko and her husband on the run Zanko was left with her sisters youngest child who would be her charge. They moved around at night through the mountains trying to make their way to the village and were ambushed. With her brothers dead the little girl was the only one left who they thought could be used to blackmail her mother and father.
That tactic didn't work, even little Chiyo was defiant and Zanko with her... the men killed the little girl by throwing her over the cliffs and Zanko was burned with sith poison... acidic on her skin but they kept her... beautiful in a way.. they didn't mar her nose, her lips or her eye but her flesh was burned and when the jedi found her half raving from the pain in the mountains they tried to save her with force light on the poison and it burned her skin even more. Leaving a scarred keisei who was in the hospital. She was visited by her sister who sat with her and while there was no anger she knew she had failed her and the pair returned to their homes.. Zanko becoming a reclusive woman who took over the ramen shop in the village and served the others. She turned her considerable skills towards physical therapy.
She stayed there at the ramen shop and in the Hanamachi to just help out the tourists... her hair growing back and learnign how best to use it so that she could conceal her scars and her body trying to recover. She met a few people but largely saw what her sister was doing and while Akiko dind't say it or even acknowledge it.. if anything she sent cards and messages wanting to come and visit but Zanko refused each one for her own shame in what had happened.
