APPEARANCE:
Zar Shun is a relatively small Vong, standing at only 6 feet in height. He has deathly pale skin, covered in scars, tattoos, and the typical implants of a Yuuzhan Vong Shaper. Due to grafting and scarification of his face, Zar has a very skeletal look made all the more disturbing by his black eyes. BIOGRAPHY:
Zar Shun was a Shaper among the Yuuzhan Vong. He was noted for being exceptionally bright and skilled from an early age. However, Zar was also noted for his trouble with accepting the dogmas of the Vong. Zar was able to maintain his status as a Shaper for years due to his charismatic personality. However, rumors surrounded him where-ever he went. For Zar hid a deep, unthinkable secret (at least among the Vong).
Zar was an atheist.
Soon the rumors grew to such an extent that something had to be done. Zar, as charismatic as ever, was able to rebuke any direct attempts on him for years, but the mounting opinion of the Vong was too much to overcome. With no direct evidence with which to come after him, Zar was expelled from the caste of Shapers and declared a Shamed One. For months, Zar was devastated by his fall from grace. Until he began to hear the murmurs of discontent among the Shamed Ones. Then Zar saw an opportunity to rise to power once more.
Zar began to build the momentum of the discontent among the Shamed Ones and soon he had a strong following among them. But this drew the attention once more of the Vong hierarchy and a death sentence was issued for the rebel leader. Forced to flee, Zar and a handful of his closest allies seized a Vong vessel and fled into Republic Space. Soon they were met with another vessel carrying more Shamed Ones who were flocking to their cause.
Their numbers swelled to 1,000 Vong, they sought out the Republic Leadership in the hopes of reaching an agreement and securing their safety among the worlds of the Republic.
