Intent: Provide Gen'dai with terrifyingly effective weapons
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Iscariot Industries
Model: N/A
Affiliation: The Gen'dai Empire
Modularity: Yes, different vibro generators can be installed and Poisons can also be added.
Production: Minor
Material: Glasteel with rubber grip
Classification: Knife
Size: One-handed
Length: 0.8m
Weight:
  • PvE Only: 45kg

  • PvP Only: 17kg
Special Features:
  • Very sharp edges
  • Thick metal
  • Transparent

Strengths:
  • Transparent metal, will be hard to see coming.
  • Creates a horrible sound in the air.
Weaknesses:
  • Usable by only larger stronger species or of similar nature
  • Awkward to use in melee combat
Description: Hand crafted by the Gen'dai and used to hunt by the remaining hordes. The weapon is simple enough and effective in combat. The Karrii are designed to be thrown and with great force. Forged from Glasteel the only part of the weapon that sticks out color wise is the rubber handle. The rest is transparent like glass. When thrown the weapon creates a horrible chopping noise mid air and makes a mess of its victim.

The weight still seems excessive to me. You're the Gen'Dai expert -- what's your canon basis for your average NFU Gen'Dai being able to chuck a 110lb throwing weapon effectively? In your shoes I'd probably dial it down to something more like a Wookiee ryyk blade, somewhere in the 15kg range. It's more plausible and will generate less angst -- and will certainly inspire more people to take the hit, so it's more effective in PVP by default.

I base the weight off Durge in the comics and clonewars. Durge was able to lift clone troopers will ease in his suit and without it he was able to backhand entire squads several meters. I figure being able to throw a piece of metal should be easy enough?

Think is i dont want to go down too low because then other humanoid species would be able to use them to some degree. So i decided to make it split into two separate groups of use if that can work. PvE weight is = 45kg & PvP weight is = 17kg.

The Karrii's will be for my minor faction and i wont be selling them on open market. Regulations of use will be strict on my part.

But tell me what you think of that idea before i make another change =) [member="Jorus Merrill"]
