[ + ] A Warrior's Birthright: As all Sandali are raised, Zavia is a fearsome and relentless warrior in her own right. She is equally adept at striking from the shadows as she is at attacking with brute force. An admirable trait for one so young and uninitiated, if she were anything other than Sandali.
[ + ] Cheetah: The girl is quick on her feet. Agility is her strong suit for such a slight frame. What she lacks in muscle, for now, she makes up in speed.
[ + ] Perception: She is exceptionally smart for her young age. She is very observant, it's whispered among her tribe that she does not miss even a fly passing by in her vision in the blistering heat of summer. Being a warrior, this awareness aides her greatly in battle and against any number of different opponents.
[ - ] Primitive: Sandala is not the most advanced world in the known Galaxy. The technology is described as neanderthal at best. The inhabitants are a proud people of a traditional hunting background.
[ - ] Basic?: With little to no exposure to those off of her beloved, albeit barren, homeworld, Zavia does not know Basic other than the butchered version her family may toss around from time to time. This makes communication difficult with outsiders who do not speak Sulu most of the time.
[ - ] Youth Is A Crutch: At the tender age of 13, the small Solek girl is seen as such, a child. She is a budding warrior and member of her tribe, yes. But, she is inexperienced and uninitiated as a Shujaa, a true warrior.

Zavia Solek is the middle child in a family of six. Her mother, Rehna, is an experienced healer within the Jiwe. She, like all Sandali, was once a warrior until battle wounded her one time too many, sentencing her to the Working Class. Even so, the woman is fierce and forthcoming. A striking face and toned body, she is everything which Zavia strives to be as a woman. Her father, M'Gosa, is a model warrior and devout man of the gods. He has taught his children all the skills necessary for survival in the cruel Galaxy around them. Hunting, gathering, fighting with and without weapons. All under his roof are taught to follow Maisha, the god of bounty, wisdom, and life. A path his only daughter dutifully follows.
The young Solek has two older brothers, Senar and Toli. They have ventured off into the Galaxy, guided by the hand of Qifo, the goddess of excitement, strength, power, and deception, and following the ways of the “Dark Side”. Before their departure, Zavia remembers the games and chases and hunts they went on. The days and cool nights spent teaching and sparring to help hone her skills. Her youngest sibling, Maken, is but seven years old. When she isn't training for the coming of age trials, she often plays and spars with him and roams the village.
Zavia is an outgoing yet reserved girl. Quiet and aloof to those she does not know and friendly to those she does, people say that she will one day follow Usawa, the young god of understanding, knowledge, and structure. Though, she is like her mother at heart. Disciplined yet wild and fiery as the sun above. She is skilled in unarmed and melee combat, shying from ranged weapons and preferring the front lines. She has a thirst for knowledge of the unknown, which is nearly everything outside of Sandala. She has only ever seen the stars in the night sky. She wishes to explore them and touch them until she knows them all by name as Qifo does.
Until that day, Maisha be her guide.
