P E R S O N A L I T Y
Zemira is independent, free-thinking and headstrong which caused issues and clashes at the beginning of her training but as she progressed onto knighthood she learned how to act more appropriately as a Jedi but whether or not she chose to do so was a different matter. Despite her peaceful upbringing within the Order, Zemira is not opposed to aggressive negotiations but is not generally an angry person and does not rush into situations without evaluating them.
She doesn't appreciate receiving comments in regard to her appearance, as is commonplace for many Hapans, as being inundated with them has made them lose their meaning and she doesn't like people who are superficial. She can become sour and more aloof if someone only seems interested in her appearance but is generally a forgiving person so any issue can be soon resolved.
Although Zemira has good intentions, her means of achieving them can sometimes be questionable as she has a somewhat flexible view on what the role of a Jedi should be and her actions are often led by her hatred of the Sith. She is loyal to the Jedi and respectful of all of the Order's members but will, on occasion, disobey an outranking member if she believes there to be a better way to handle the situation. She is stoic and serious but not unfriendly or unkind and is naturally selfless.

~Smuggler Past: Having been raised by smugglers, she is sympathetic to their plight and while this means she can easily work with them and feels relatively at ease in the criminal world, it means she is unlikely to work against smugglers unless the lives of civilians are at risk.
-Independent: Disobeying the Jedi when needed is not an issue as she believes the outcome justifies the means and she doesn't always have regard for those she is working with.
-Stubborn: Her determination and head-strong nature also means it can be hard to shift her from a decision she has made.
-Night-vision: Her Hapan biology also means she has no night-vision whatsoever.

Zemira has the beauty that is characteristic of Hapans and considered attractive by many. She has long, thick curly brown hair and blue eyes with a pale, unblemished complexion with no distinguishable features. She is of an average height and weight and has an athletic build. She usually wears stone coloured Jedi robes and has her hair braided in some fashion.

B I O G R A P H Y
Zemira was born on Hapes where her mother was a royal guard who was killed on duty not long after her daughter's birth so Zemira's father, like many oppressed Hapan men, escaped the planet with nothing left tying him to his homeworld where he met other outsiders and formed a small time smuggling crew. Zemira was subsequently raised in the crew which served as a dysfunctional family and due to being raised away from Hapes, she was spared from much of the sexism of the culture which shaped her personality to be more empathetic.
She was raised influenced by a range of languages and cultures as the crew came from all over the galaxy and as a child she soon became friends with the pilot's daughter who was a few years older and acted as a surrogate sister. She never knew her surname because her father never used it, seeing it as an unimportant connection to their past lives.
On a run, the crew were betrayed and so were ambushed by the authorities. A Jedi who witnessed the arrests offered to take the young force sensitive since the authorities were unsure what to do with her and so she began training as a Jedi but was separated from her non-force sensitive friend. Though bitter at first, she grew to view being a Jedi as her calling and hoped one day to be reunited with her friend.
As a Padawan, however, she was troubled and often caused conflict with her independence and questionable tactics and though she grew to become a more well-rounded individual, the killing of her Master at the hands of a Sith caused a hatred to brew within her which never settled.
