TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARD FEATURES
  • All Standard Features
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • A. I. Pilot Interface: As a leftover from the droid variant of the Tri-Fighter, this ship has a highly advanced A. I. navigation and mapping system, which allows the ship to navigate through low-visibility areas without the use of a wayfinder Holocron.
  • Nano-Buzz Droids: This ship is capable of releasing a cloud of microscopic buzz droids, which will gradually tear apart any ship caught in the cloud.
  • Kineso-Switch: The kineso switch can give this ship an unexpected speed boost, in the event of a quick retreat.
STRENGTHS
  • Next-Generation Fighter: This ship posses many new and experimental features that have yet to be widely used.
  • Small: This ship’s smaller size compared to other starfighters makes it a hard target to hit.
  • Heavily Armed: This ship is armed with both powerful conventional weapons (such as the electromagnetic plasma cannon), and powerful unconventional weapons (such as the nano-buzz droids).
  • Wicked Fast: This ship has three engines and a kineso-switch, allowing it to travel at overwhelming speeds in short bursts.
  • Unrestricted View Field: This ship’s cockpit is made mostly out of transparisteel, giving the pilot an amazing field of vision.
WEAKNESSES
  • Friendly Fire: This ship is not really designed to play well with others. Between its indiscriminate nano-buzz droids, and its overwhelming speed, this is not a ship designed for squadron efforts.
  • Exposed Engines: A carryover from the original design is the fact that the engines of this ship are rather easy targets.
DESCRIPTION
Zengel Felgreen’s Piloted Tri-Fighter is the crème of the crop in starfighters. This ship originated in a set of blueprints which were drafted at the very end of the Clone Wars. These blueprints were drafted by the Separatist Navy for use in the (seemingly) inevitable sieges of the Core Worlds. However, the war ended in a defeat for the Separatists long before these blueprints could be put into production.

The blueprints for what would become the Piloted Tri-Fighter remained in the computer systems of a secret Phlac-Arphocc Automata Industries research lab, located under a mountain on Serenno. This lab was left undiscovered by the Galactic Empire, and as a result, the blueprints were left there for centuries. Eventually, the blueprints were discovered by a hiker who stumbled upon the research lab. Coincidentally, this hiker happened to be an employee of the modern iteration of the modern version of Phlac-Arphocc Automata Industries. After showing this long forgotten design to the company, they decided to try building a version of it with modern technology, and some experimental features. The result was a complete success.

The Piloted Tri-Fighter fell into the hands of Zengel Felgreen after he assassinated a corporate spy, who had tried to steal insider secrets from Phlac-Arphocc Automata Industries. The C.E.O. of the company gave him the Piloted Tri-Fighter as a sign of gratitude. The C.E.O. felt safe giving the Piloted Tri-Fighter to Felgreen, as he knew that Felgreen would not sell it to a rival company.

The Piloted Tri-Fighter is an absolute menace in space combat, especially against other starfighters. Its unrestricted field of view combined with its ease of use mean that it can perform well even when flown by inexperienced pilots. When Zengel Felgreen isn’t a bad pilot, he is thankful for this trait, as he often has to kill far better pilots than he is in space combat.
