HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Ninurta's first encounter with the Kwi species came during a hunting expedition on Dathomir, where he sought to capture exotic beasts. Deep in the dense, mist-laden forests, he stumbled upon a herd of the azure-colored saurians being pursued by ruthless Big Game Hunters. The sight of the Kwi, their movements and intelligence, evoked a sense of admiration in the Mandalorian beast master. Deciding to intervene, Ninurta used his survival skills and innate biology to outmaneuver the hunters, setting up traps and ambushes that slowly thinned their ranks and drove them away. His actions not only saved the Kwi but also earned their tentative trust, particularly from a brave and curious Kwi named Zephyr.

In the aftermath of the rescue, Ninurta discovered the Kwi's unique form of sentience. Through subtle, non-verbal communication and a display of intelligence, Zephyr and the other Kwi demonstrated their capacity for understanding and cooperation. Fascinated by their potential, Ninurta formed a bond with Zephyr, offering to help the Kwi protect themselves and flourish. Over time, their partnership grew stronger, leading them to engage in various enterprises such as gladiatorial beast fighting and escort missions. Zephyr's natural agility and strength, combined with Ninurta's tactical acumen, made them an unbeatable duo in the arena, earning substantial credits and fame.

To enhance Zephyr's abilities and ensure his protection, Ninurta outfitted him with cybernetic implants. These enhancements, meticulously integrated into Zephyr's body and nervous system, amplified his hunting prowess and made him an even more formidable combat mount. The implants included sensory upgrades, reinforced muscles, and neural interfaces that allowed Ninurta to coordinate seamlessly with Zephyr.
