Born into a fortunate life as the daughter of Varlo Dara, the previous owner of Valkeri Enterprises, Zoraya's only hardships growing up were the lack of friends due to expensive private schooling and the expectations of her parents. They were proud of their daughter, and prepared her to one day take over the company from the moment she was old enough to start learning about businesses and the products they made for the New Jedi Order. At first, it wasn't something that interested her much, but the older she got and with war constantly raging throughout the Galaxy, she became more appreciative of the work.
But while she was destined to take over one day, everything progressed much faster when a business trip with her father resulted in their shuttle crashing before it could ever reach its destination. Her father had died in the crash and while she survived, serious injuries had led to her requiring cybernetic implants to sustain her. With the money of her family and the technological benefits of the company, she was equipped with rather high-tech components, but she knew she'd never quite be the same again.
Now, at the age of 28, she feels somewhat out of her league running a company of this size, but the war with the Brotherhood of the Maw has sparked her into giving it her all. The New Jedi Order was the first line of defense against them, and so assisting them with better technology is something she actually believes in beyond just monetary gains.

Zoraya is an extremely calm and focused woman who dedicates most of her time to running the company. Using her extensive knowledge from her engineering education, she contributes actively to the future plans of Valkeri Enterprises whilst keeping them financially interesting. So much so, that her personal life has never been able to develop much. She has very few friends, never dabbled in romantic relationships, and hardly spends any of her time on hobbies or activities not directly linked to her work.
While it would drive some people crazy, Zoraya loves everything about it. Not being able to work and relax only stresses her out — her desire to be productive outweighs everything else.

Zoraya is a young, beautiful woman with a slender figure and well-taken care of appearance. With red, cybernetic eyes, she often draws the attention of those around her, and even the various smaller implants are visually appealing. Her raven-black hair is typically worn in a bun with a few loose strands running down the sides of her face, but other more formal hairstyles are not uncommon.
She dresses much the same — professional and appropriate for her job.
