OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Intent: Expanding on the lore touched upon in the "Kabal IV - Frysk" approved submission, I'm re-visiting much of the related lore for world-building purposes in preparation for a return to writing stories on the board relating to the Commonwealth of Zorn and its' related species. I want to thoroughly detail the Norrmen, their culture, politics, technology, and the environments they occupy. I intend for this submission to be a sort of "Hub," which I'll update as I create planet submissions and space station classes.

SETTING INFORMATION
Star System Name: Zorn.
Region: Tingel Arm.
Affiliation: Commonwealth of Zorn.
Accessibility: Isolated from hyperlanes and exterior economic growth and protected by a militaristic government inhabited by hazardous humanoid species commonly known as the "Norrmen", Zorn appears in ancient Galactic Empire and New Imperial Order astronomical charts with sparse charting between the centuries where those two governments existed. The Commonwealth of Zorn enforce its law with ruthless zeal; unauthorised access generally results in lengthy detention, and the Commonwealth's vicious response to piracy is spoken of in hushed warnings amid the Outer Rim Territories.
Description: Zorn system is a tiny but resource-rich system nestled into the outer-most arm of the Outer Rim Territories, the 'Tingel Arm'; its' discovery to the wider galactic community occurred during the reign of Sheev Palpatine I's reign over the Galactic Empire with its' corresponding expansionist policies. The 4th Legion of Clone Stormtroopers were responsible for subduing the inhabitants of what was then known as "Frysk" in a bloody punitive campaign. After its conquest by the Galactic Empire, a protectorate was established, and its' hardy population was used as slave labour to extract Zorn IV's precious metals and resources, with Imperial culture and design enduringly impacting the local "Norrmen".

SYSTEM INFORMATION
- Size: Insignificant - ~7,255,549,672 Kilometers / 4.85 Astronomical Units.
- Wealth: Medium - Zorn's planets have only recently been terraformed with the assistance of the New Imperial Order; before this terraforming process, only one planet, Frysk, had any significant population or economic growth. The sparse population generally lives in a single sprawling city on each planet, geosynchronous space stations or deep-space mining and refining facilities. The wealth of the Zorn system comes from resource extraction services, its' related industries and the astonishing value-add each member of the Homo Sapiens Augeus population possesses as employees due to their unparalleled lifespans, which is conducive to the acquisition of multiple trade and professional skills.

- Hydian Way: Though it doesn't pass through the Zorn system directly, the Hydian way is the closest astrological hyperspace lane to Zorn and, thus, the most reliable way for the population of the Zorn system's world to engage with the broader galactic community in an efficient manner that would encourage interstellar trade with and investment in Zorn system.
Population: Sparse
System Traffic: Low
Description: Traffic through the system, like its population, is sparse and generally related to economic activity or military operations; though it isn't frequently trafficked, the system is subjected to the Commonwealth of Zorn's surveillance matrix, which leverages information technology and surveillance devices to monitor traffic on and about the system's inhabited worlds.

SECURITY
Security Rating: High
Description: Maintaining a militaristic culture and society characterised by broad law-enforcement powers, the Commonwealth of Zorn has a reputation for its focus on upholding the rule of law and security at the shameless expense of Freedom; their government does not brook the occupation of the system by lawless elements such as brigands, pirates or criminals. The system is principally occupied by the species known as "Homo Sapiens Augeus", with physical traits which appear curated for warfare. The Commonwealth's infantry is known to utilise the so-called "Poison-pill ammunition". It is infamous for the inhumane and excruciatingly painful injuries it inflicts. The Commonwealth's military has widespread access to technology considered esoteric by the wider galaxy.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Timeline:
- 100,000 BBY: An enigmatic race whose identity is lost to the annals of history imprison the dangerous Gene-forged Species known as "Homo Sapiens Augeus" onto what is now known as "Zorn", the fourth planet; the system as a whole thereafter has a negligible impact on Interstellar affairs for tens-of-thousands of years.
- 19 BBY: In the wake of the Clone Wars, the Galactic Empire's Imperial Navy charts the Zorn System, it identifies significant mineral and material wealth contained within all four planets of the system, their associated satellites and the asteroid belts inside the system. Moving to occupy Zorn IV as the only inhabitable planet in the system, The Galactic Empire's Clone Stormtroopers come into conflict with the "Kingdom of Zorn" and its local military.
- 19 BBY: After nine months of resistance, Admiral Gideon Raythe orders his Venator-Class Star Destroyers to bombard the surface of Zorn IV, decimating 90% of the Homo Sapiens Augeus population and causing massive ecological damage. The Galactic Empire occupied Zorn IV and subjugated the population as a labour force.
- 5 ABY: The Galactic Empire collapses, and Zorn IV's government begins rebuilding their decimated population and planet.
- 874 ABY: The New Imperial Order establishes control over the Zorn system.
- 878 ABY: With support from the New Imperial Order, the Zorn system's chief governing body terraforms and colonises Zorn I, II and III. There is a resulting population explosion for Homo Sapiens Augeus throughout the system driven by agricultural imports.
- 878-900 ABY: The New Imperial Order collapses, cut off from agricultural imports. With Zorn I's agriculture still developing, widespread famine occurred in the colonised worlds of the Zorn system.
