APPEARANCE: Shaze stands slightly taller than most near-human females at six feet (183 cm), with a lean, mesomorph body type kept in shape to the imperial army's standards. A stoic look of apathy is her defeat expression, mostly due to the discipline and etiquette conditioning of Chiss and Imperial society. The dark blue hair is usually kept pulled back, but often looks a bit out of uniform due to its natural tousled and slightly unruly texture. She sports a cerulean visage with piercing crimson eyes and sharp facial features, as is characteristic of her kind.

Shaze is able to maintain her determination and motivation over long periods despite experiences with failure and adversity. Her dogged persistence is only ever quelled by success.

Over a decade of combat experience along with strenuous amounts of drills and training have honed Shaze's skills as a soldier. CQC, Marksmanship, and Tactical Operations are all skills that have been drilled meticulously into her brain.

Intelligence was likely a key factor in how well Shaze excelled in combat-related skills. She is also well-versed in military theory, history, and tactics. Shaze also excels in math, navigation, and basic engineering.

Shaze, like many Chiss, subscribes to the idea that Chiss are generally above most other people and tends to look down on non-Chiss. Non-Chiss who prove their merits can often be considered equals, but these are rare.
- Hot-Headed
Shaze has a short fuse and a tendency to blow up when upset or irritated. This isn't a good mix with her already rigid personality and makes it harder for her to form meaningful connections.
- Defiant
Bouts of insubordination and complete disregard for rules/procedures aren't uncommon for Shaze, especially when she thinks her way is better.
- Recovered Addict
The use of combat simulants eventually formed an addiction. This addiction gradually progressed from combat stimulants, to illicit stimulants, to spice, and eventually to harder spice and stimulants like glitterstim and death sticks. Through a combination of determination and medical treatment the addiction was kicked, but the urge to use still lingers on the farthest recesses of her mind.

War is hard on everyone, especially in a mental context. The lasting effects of over a decade of active duty have taken a dire toll on Shaze's mental state. Bursts of anger and stress along with flashbacks are just the tip of the PTSD iceberg.
