Alderaan - Temple of the Grey

Alexandra smiled as she was back in her Garden, waiting for those that she had requested join her on the planet.

Today was going to be new for her and something she had not done in over a decade, giving a group lesson rather than one that was designed to be one on one. Padawans and Knights looking to stretch their legs would be asked to acquire an item from her person, something no single Padawan could do without significant ingenuity. But Alexandra was not looking for one person to try and do this on their own, much rather to work as a team and complete the task as such.

Her hand touched the tree and she let the force flow through her into it as she waited some more, her other hand moving through a datapad and checking over those she had personally asked or expected to be here today.

One of which was a student she has worked with several times in the past, Mereel Vaun. He wasn't so much her student and was actually the student of Lilla, who had gone on her own recently. He was an odd one, someone Alexandra wasn't sure on how to handle most of the time but certainly had his heart in things. She could rely on him to follow the lesson and try without pause to complete the task she would give the students.

Then there was Giddean Kuat, who had taken the time since arriving here to put his heart and soul into the order. He wanted to be a Sentinel from what she knew, or rather one of the Temple Guards themselves. It was a strong path for the man and he seemed devoted to protecting and supporting the Order. Alexandra would be more than happy in pushing him towards that career.

Then there was her own personal student, Abigail Meredydd. This one was someone that she hadn't quite fully figured out, especially with a recent revelation. She wondered if she could maintain a relation with the student that was what was correct, especially considering what both knew now.

A few more existed that Alexandra sadly did not know well, such as Alana Sunrider, whos name made Alexandra smile. It was a reminder of an old master from long ago. Setzi Lunelle as well, who Alexandra had yet to get to meet.

Aside from the students, she had also included those like Avin Starfire into the invitation, as well as Calder Icehammer, Alyson Halle, Cedric Grayson and a few others she had invited on a more personal ground. She wanted knights to get in on this little exercise as well, while masters watched and helped with giving those involved ideas on how to get the item from Alexandra.

And what item was that?

Her flask of course.

Abigail sighed deeply as she exited the house. She had been avoiding Alex as much as she could recently. Their relation had... grown to be a bit more complicated than she had ever imagined it to be. A recent revelation had stirred up old and forgotten emotions, some good, and some bad. Now her mind was filled with conflict as to what to think of the woman, her master, and perhaps more.

Alexandra was in the garden, of that Abigail was sure. As she neared the garden she found herself to be the first to arrive, something which wasn't weird as... well.. she had already been here the entire time to begin with.

"Hello, master Feanor", she hesitantly spoke, putting a little extra emphasis on 'master'. She stopped in her tracks for a small while, whispering to herself that she needed to lay her emotion aside for the moment. This was a lesson so her thoughts needed to be focused on that lesson- and nothing else. Abigail knew it was impossible not to think about it as long as she was near Alex, but she could at least try to think of other things as well.

"So, we're doing a team lesson today? To get that flask of yours, right?", she eventually asked. "Trying to get your beloved flask...Didn't know you wanted me dead so soon", she then blurted out before she covered her mouth with her own hands.

"I-I'm sorry. That was uncalled for", she mumbled as she stared to the ground. "My mind- I", she tried, but she felt her throat tighten and her eyes become wet, so she stopped and shook her head before taking a deep breath.
"That's not important right now. But that is", she said as she nodded towards the flask.

"I will get it, with the rest if I need to, but I will prove that I am worth something to you", she said as she turned her back on Alexandra Feanor before walking away.

Meanwhile, her little Force buddy was right behind Alexandra, keeping a good look at that damned flask.

Walking the halls of the Temple with two Antarian Rangers and another furry humanoid figure that was wearing a newly pressed Jedi Robes. The center younger man was wearing a cloak instead of his normal Guard Uniform. Returning from a mission in the Hutt Territories meant he had little time to change before being summoned to Alderaan. He still had some reports to give the Rangers for security reasons so he had some travel with him.

"-And so make sure Grobo and his group stick to their lanes, the Trade Spine is now under your patrols and securing Order Shipments to and from Nadiem Enclave are safely transported," Giddean placed his hand on the shoulder of one of the Rangers, "Inform Colonel Jackson that he will need to speak with the Jedi Council about the security transport to Illum." Tapping on their shoulders again, they continued forward.

Giddean slowed to the pace of Kua, a slave he rescued from his last mission and brought back to the Jedi Temple due to the strong Force Connection he was able to feel. This Lepi had a connection that was stronger then that Giddean had, though he preferred keeping to the path of the Sentinel and relying more on his talent then the Force. "Apologies Kua, the Jedi Enclave is still settling down and work never stops," He did his best to smile at the furry being, though Giddean was never good at such a thing.

Turning the corner to the garden he was able to see Master Alexandra Feanor, the Grand Master of the Republic Jedi Enclave, and his apprentice Padawan Abigail Meredydd. This was his first time meeting her Padawan, and he could easily feel the tention in the air. Ignoring it however, he bowed before them. "Greeting and Good Health Master Feanor, Padawan Meredydd, I would like to introduce Kua, a young Force User who is interested in joining the Jedi Order please allow him to join us in today's training."

He walked along quickly with Giddean Kuat and the rangers who accompanied them, taking in the sights around him as they moved. This place was intriguing to Kua, not what he would have imagined a Jedi temple to be. But, it wasn't a bad thing in the least. Kua rather enjoyed finding out that things were not always what they seemed, and this place had an energy that welcomed and stimulated the force senses of the lepi.

Catching a glance at his reflection in passing, Kua couldn't help but grin a little. He couldn't have imagined wearing the threads of a slave only hours ago, only to be in the robes of a Jedi now. It was strange how one's fate unravelled like a wildly colorful tapestry.

His connection to the force continually reached out around him, like small tendrils in the nether gaining understanding of his surroundings. It was in his nature to understand the architecture around him in the deepest sense. After all, understanding one's place within existence was true presence in the force.

Giddean's apology only made the lepi grin more, his blood red gaze turning to meet that of Giddean's

"Please don't apologize, if anything I can't thank you enough"

He said gleefully, returning the smile rather easily. For Kua, emotions flowed much more readily, easily seen in his face, and eyes.

Turning the corner, Kua paused as he felt a flood of light-side energy, a sensation that sent tingles up and down his spine. To a force-sensitive neutrality like Kua who was used to a balance within him, having it so abruptly tipped toward the light side was actually a little disorienting. Despite the small moment of vertigo, the light side energy felt warm, and contained a deep sense of love and inter-connection. After a moment of getting used to the powerful energies flowing through him, he looked around the garden, letting his physical senses mix with what the energy told him.

He knew, before they spoke, which one had to be the master. The pull in the force - the influence that surrounded a master ... Especially in a place like this - it was unmistakable.

Hearing himself introduced by Giddean, Kua stepped forward, pulling the hood off to reveal his head and face. The first thing that would usually be noticed were his two blood red eyes, followed by two long ears that were lined with piercings. For the most part, he looked like a rabbit, whiskers and all. His long ears folded back as he lowered his head and bowed to Master Alexandra Feanor first, then Padawan Abigail Meredydd as well respectfully.

"I'm honored to meet you, and humbly request presence for learning..."

Abigail Meredydd

Alexandra was surprised by Abigails words, but understood them and she smiled, taking out the flask and showing it to Abigail. And with that, she withdrew her saber, turned it to face the flask, and put a hole in the object, holding the saber there as it cut into the item. She didn't need to say anything, didn't need to respond with heated words. She only smiled at Abigail and shook her head, letting her know how little the flask meant to her student. Someone who was one of her family in more than just the Order.

"I think you will find that the flask is no where near the same worth as you Abigail. I can promise you on that..." She deactivated the saber, dragging the now impossible to repair flask back into her cloak and got up, moving over to hug her student before Giddean Kuat or Kua arrived. Alexandra would not linger long with the hug, knowing that others might see it if she did not end it.

"Now, how about you just try your hardest in this lesson. Even if you can't get it, I want to see you try as hard as you can... make me proud ehh?" Alexandra smiled and stepped back, turning her head and watching as the two individuals entered the garden from the Temple. Giddean Kuat was familiar and she needed no introduction but Kua was new and he greatly interested Alexandra. It was someone that she had yet to meet and as always she would enjoy to get to know him and see what he could do.

She listened to Giddaen's introduction and when he was done and the two had bowed, Alexandra regarded them both for a few moments before she herself placed both hands crossed over her chest and bowed forward, lowering her head so that it atleast met theirs in height before straightening up. It would probably look odd for the master of the order to bow so low to her students, but Alexandra did not mind and it was known within the order she was not Orthodox in how she acted.

"You have no idea how honored I am to have someone even watch, much less join in on the lesson today Padawan Kuat. Your companion is welcomed with open arms and I cannot wait to see how honored I am to have his presence. As for you, Kua if I am correct. You have no idea how overjoyed I am to have you not only at our temple, but at my home itself. I hope that you will enjoy yourself today."

With that she waited for their responses, and for the other arrivals.

Without his helmet and its HUD, he had become temporarily lost navigating the Temple halls. Of course he had found his way eventually, he was a natural pathfinder.. but more importantly he could sense out the presence of the Jedi Grandmaster from well over a mile away now. Mereel sauntered out from the Temple halls and into the garden, a coattail of his red jacket flickered with the wind freely before he ruffled it back into place out of annoyance.

Excluding the Grandmaster, his eyes scanned over each of the figures standing around in the garden as he approached them from behind. He thought one of the people there, a man with a military haircut standing about his own height, seemed familiar, but he wasn't sure. His memory was pretty crap at the worst of times.

Mereel stopped himself near the edge of the gathered Jedi, giving a slight tilt of the head in place of a bow. Even though he wasn't wearing his Mandalorian armor, he opened with his usual introduction, "Su'cuy vode. Grandmaster Feanor."

His eyes scanned up and down Alexandra's person for a quick moment. Although his vision was normally pretty keen, he failed to spot the flask with his cursory glances. "So.. uhh. Your flask -"

Mereel's hands went down to his belt, brushing past his pistols and grenades, his fingers un-clipped one of two flasks latched onto his belt at all times. He held the flask of tihaar in open palm for all to easily see, ".. look like this one? Just want to have a visual of what we're aiming for here."

Abigail know stood to the side as she watched Alexandra interact with the others who turned up for this exercise. Although her feeling towards Alexandra we're still mixed up overall, currently a warm smile sat on her face as she thought about what Alex had said and done. Secretly she was saddened that the hug Alex gave her had been short, but she wouldn't ever admit that.

The smile on her face grew a bit wider as Mereel Vaun asked Alex about the flask. Alexandra had burned a whole through her own flask.
For her. Just to show Abigail that she actually mattered to her. It may have seemed like a small gesture to others if they would have been there, but it was something gigantic and completely unexpected for Abigail. Something which fueled her drive to perform well during this exercise, to prove herself towards Alexandra.

Perhaps even to make her proud.

"The flask has a hole in it", she told the man asking about the flask, her voice carrying a hint of happiness as she quickly shot Alexandra Feanor a warm and thankful smile.

Avin sat staring from afar, to begin with, his presence almost unnoticeable amongst the general bustle of greetings. He had seated himself around the corner and out of visual range from the rest of them yet he needed no immense sense of the force to detect whence a new person may have arrived, his ears gave him a strong enough feel for that. Alas, his mind was still somewhere else, he had received the Grandmaster's invitation to join the padawans in some of their training. He accepted the offer graciously and had made his way here close to an hour beforehand. He had spent most of his time on the temple since getting back from his last mission. The tranquility of the garden and the stillness of the temple had given him more time to reflect on the force and his own attitude. He felt far more peaceful than he had prior. A new sense of calm seemed to come with him and run through his whole being. Hopefully, it would show to some effect.

He stood up and let the hood fall from his robe before turning the corner and taking in the sight of the gathered apprentices and at the epicenter of them all Grandmaster Alexandra Feanor. Her red hair seemed to contrast with the luscious greens around as if further separating her from the other Jedi but at the same time drawing upon the affinity with nature that Avin had seen her possess.

He approached at a measured speed his current presence of being the only Jedi Knight at the meeting left him to represent his fellows of the order and furthermore present his own image to the next generation. He had met some of them before, notably, the young Giddean Kuat with whom Avin shared a home planet and also Mereel Vaun whom he had seen take to many a battlefield. The rest were new to him however he had no doubt that if they stayed true to their training they would become powerful knights in their own right. For now, all he could do was try to set a good example.

As he arrived he made sure not to interrupt but instead wait for a lull in the talking before giving his greetings.

"Indeed it may do, that does not make it any the less obtainable. Merely just a bad utensil for storing liquid." He replied to the women of whom he had yet to meet but listening in on the earlier conversation he had detected a close relationship with the Order's leader whom he was already turning to face.

"I thank you for your invitation Master Feanor. It is good to see you again."

With heavy footsteps, Hannah stomped herself through more foliage and dense forest of Alderaan. In her honest opinion it wasn't particular difficult but the thick forest trees gave her the impression of being swallowed up slowly. Heart began to rise steadily with either excitement or fear, Hannah hadn't figured out which yet, but her internal cybernetics reacted and slowed down her heart beat. Now evenly paced, a sense of calmness returned to her and she continued to trek towards the Temple. Her eyes focused ahead of her, the building soon came into view and that quickened her movement.

She approached the Temple, her steps seemed to make her bounce as she vaulted forward once, before Hannah calmed and resumed a more steady slow pace. Though her excitement only carried to her tail as it erratically swayed to and fro, Hannah did keep in mind of anything too close to her tail, her eyes constantly scanned her personal space. Be wary, be vigilant and-Hannah stopped short as she shifted her weight uncomfortably between either leg. Okay a tad lost, but not terribly worrisome.

Hannah swayed slightly until her ears perked up and heard noises down a different hallway, voices Hannah quickly moved with both curiosity and uncertainty. It took a few more minutes, as the voices unhelpfully echoes through different chambers but ultimately Hannah found her way in the Garden. Keep track of my path. Her mind kept close detail of the markings around her, but her sole attention landed around the group of people that had already gathered.

With a quick intake of air, she took a few more steps forward, in reality she had intended to stay far away enough to listen. But since she had already reach the maximum range of her hearing capabilities, it would prove useful to simply get closer and examine the others that had gathered. Another intake of air and Hannah walked slowly forward, her advancement slow and meticulous as her mind focused on the words and voices of those in the Garden.

"As my apprentice mentioned Padawan Vaun, the flask has a hole in it, which is how you will determine which is the correct item. With that said though, I will suggest you not attempt to go after the flask on your own. As Knight Starfire mentioned, its damage does not make it any more obtainable without proper planning and a bit of teamwork. You will find that everything that happens in the three-mile radius around this temple, is completely within my power and that you will not be quite so capable alone." She looked at Mereel Vaun, knowing that the kid tended to try and do things with a bit of flair and alone, and she had made certain there were guards against him doing such, especially through her own hands.

She still had hoped that another master would have arrived, such as Cedric Grayson, Alyson Halle, Coren Starchaser or Calder Icehammer, but none of the individuals had shown themselves. And the same goes for an old friend she had recently invited to the order but had yet to show their faces. If they did end up showing, that would be good, but the intent of the lesson was for the knights and the padawans.

She used the momentary break to look past the students and take in the appearance of Hannah, who was a bit of an interesting sight for the woman. She had not seen someone like her before, much less one with such heavy augmentation. She wondered if that person was living, but as far as she could tell Hannah did exist in the Force. She wasn't missing or even just murky, she was alive and the force recognized such so Alexandra just smiled and started to walk over to Hannah.

With the same kind smile, she gave Hannah a bow and straightened up before speaking.

"Hello. I can't say I know who you are or have seen you before. I do hope that you found your way here without issue, my name is Alexandra and I assume you were lead to here from the main temple?" She knew there would be a few students taking part she had never met, or like Kua had simply just arrived. Alexandra was not all-knowing and while she could remember details quite well, that did not mean she could just summon them on the moment.

The sound of servos whirled as Hannah took a tentative step back, she had not expected to be addressed this soon and it hadn't included the one who did approach her. Her tail swayed back and forth to either side, as she kept her arms on either side of her body, Hannah nodded once towards Alexandra. Even if Hannah stood a few inches over Alexandra, Hannah still felt very small when being addressed. With her head inclined and a mumbled "Hello", she to Alexandra with a curious expression, a question formed in her head but Hannah knew not how to exactly phrase the question.

"I was lead, yes." Hannah answered, her arms slowly reached behind her and hands clasped together to keep both arms behind her back, "-My name is Hannah." She added, her eyes steadied on Alexandra and Hannah wondered on what to say next exactly. Pleasantries feel empty, but I cannot forget them either.

Hannah gestured with her tail towards Alexandra, "-You intend to stop us from obtaining you flask by yourself correct?" She asked as she tilted her to one side with a raised eyebrow. Either she understands her capability fully, or suspects that we do not. While Hannah felt vulnerable at the present moment, this little lesson would no doubt allow her to ease back into a more comfortable state.

Mereel's facial expression changed from his neutral slight smirk to perplexed amusement when the brown haired, brown eyed woman told him that the flask had a hole in it. "Well, sounds like a pretty shabby flask to me. No wonder she's okay with us taking it. "

Resisting the strong urge to take a drink from his flask that he still had outstretched in his hand, he clipped it back to his belt. He frowned when the Grandmaster advised him against going it alone, and the frown only grew in intensity when she mentioned the three mile radius bit. His eyes sunk to the ground and his metal left hand began rubbing the back of his neck, "Oh don't worry Grandmaster. The thought hadn't crossed my mind."

When his eyes finally lifted from the ground, he turned to greet an acquaintance who he had seen sharing the dutious pastime of taking to the frontlines. "It's good to see you Starfire... especially considering that Grandmaster Feanor seems content neutering the group by removing one of my strong suites." He uttered the words with a smile. Mock indignation lacing his voice.

Few paid the masked scholar much mind as he passed. Those within the temple were relatively unfamiliar with what exactly the mask meant - Cedric found himself enjoying the rare moment of anonymity. Being public enemy number one in the eyes of the Sith Empire tended to make one an unfortunately popular - or rather infamous - figure.Fortunately, the Temple of the Gray was far enough removed from imperial society to have paid much attention to the propaganda it routinely vomited out onto the holonet.

The empyrean flowed through him calmly today. The astral winds were calm, and the waters of the Great Ocean contently still. There was a balance to this place that intrigued the Jedi Master, though it was one he also understood quite well. The doctrines of the Gray Jedi were not unknown to the Knight of Ession, but they were not something he subscribed to. As Cedric drew nearer to the class, he reflected on his past experience with such teachings, and the horrible death toll those beliefs had led to.

Salvation can truthfully only be found in the light's divine grace.

Cedric decided to keep his opinions to himself as he stepped into the classroom. He figure of average size, though the armor plating that protected his form added a good bit of mass to his broad frame. A dark cloak was bound around the armor in imitation of a normal Jedi robe; the material seemed to be made of something far more robust than synthweave or leather. A large two-handed lightsaber emblazoned with the crest of the Jedi Order hung openly from his belt.

He took up a position a few paces to the Grandmaster's side: folded his arms about his chest, nodded to the woman, and held his silence. He would not interrupt the students just yet.

Kua was actually pleasantly surprised when Alexandra bowed back to he and Giddean in greeting.

Her words made him feel welcome and comfortable, like this was where he belonged.

"Yes, thank you, Master Feanor. It will be an honor to learn.. and aid in the learning process"

The force-wielding bunny boy said as she confirmed his name correctly. Kua hadnt realized that this magnificent place was also the home of Alexandra, but after some reflection it made sense

"I am humbly honored to be welcome into your home and training ground"

Kua's eyes locked on Avin Starfire as the Jedi knight approached. He seemed to hold an heir of leadership about him, like Giddean. He presumed Avin to be a Jedi knight, at least that was the feeling he had when looking upon the Jedi.

Kua couldn't help but grin a little as Abigail spoke up, declaring that the flask had a hole in it, with a hint of bliss in her voice. Being that he couldn't understand why this would make her happy, his own observation may seem strange

"I take it you don't like flasks?"

Kua found himself smiling about Avin's observation pertaining to the flask, which apparently had a hole through the center according to Abigail.

"Bad is relative, isn't it? Its a great utensil for storing liquid ...compared to a fishing net for example"

Kua's words seemed to hold a playful, almost joking tone, though there was actually some hidden wisdom in his words, about everything being comparative and subjective

Kua's voice began to trail off at the end, as a strange sound came to him. His long lepi ears both perked up tall, turning like satellite dishes, seeking the origin of the sound. It sounded mechanical, but not like any droid Kua was familiar with.

"What...what is..."

He said, just a little above his breath, perplexed as to what he was hearing until Hannah came into view. Turning back to see her, Kua was actually rather surprised and impressed. There were many different sensations in the force when he tried to feel out what she was. There was definitely the energy of the machine... But also something more. The spark of life? This wasnt a droid at all. She was alive. A cybernetic entity

This was fascinating to the Lepi, and he remained silent now as Master Feanor addressed the mechanical female directly. As she addressed Hannah directly, Kua offered a glance to Mereel

"So if you pierce a hole in the flask you have, does it mean you win?"

He offered, trying to make light of the situation, as Mereel seemed a bit offended, and even impatient about the masters warning not to attempt to retrieve the flask alone.

Once again, something else pulled at the edges of his attention, feeling something akin to a small surge in the force as Cedric entered the area. This man's place in the force was of a powerful foundation, only similar to one other being present - Master Feanor.

Kua made a quick determination based on this info. If he was wrong, what would it hurt?

"Greetings, Master"

The lepi said, leaning in a small bow to Cedric, hoping he wasnt mistaken but feeling better to go with his instincts.

Seems today's lesson was a little different then what he was use to, capturing a flask from the Grandmaster. Sounded easy enough, but he was smarter to realize that she would not stand still while it was taken from her. Force Powers or agility, it could turn into a very long game of tag or hide and seek.

He watched as more people entered the garden and only grew in student and teachers numbers. He looked at Kua and only observed the movement of the new member. Giddean brought the force user to the Jedi Order, as such he felt like he needed to assist where he could with his training. This all changed however when his Master and Teacher, Master Cedric Grayson entered to garden.

Nodding to the experienced Force User and Veteran Warrior, he only offered a respectful vibe through the force to his Master. Knowing the older Guardian Jedi Master preferred silence in times of training, Giddean stayed quiet and listened to the instructions that would be provided.

Suddenly there became another noticeable presence among the large gathering. Minna, as if from thin air, had appeared in the garden. Her old training in the Assassins had not been forgotten, making it quite a common occurrence for her to turn up unseen. In reality though she knew Alexandra Feanor would have noticed her despite her best efforts, since these grounds were so finely bound to her. Nevertheless, she enjoyed surprising those who were unaware.

"Hope I'm not too late."

As Minna examined all the gathered students, and the few masters, she gave a warm smile to Alex. Taking a place off to the left of the Grandmaster, she then turned her attention to making a note of all the faces gathered. Almost every single one of them was new to her, which was to be expected after such a long absence from the civilised galaxy. This was a new beginning though, and she would no doubt come to meet and maybe even teach these next generation of Jedi.

Although Minna was never the most prominent teacher, she always took an opportunity to practice. If any of the students really struggled in this activity she considered connecting with them through some form of battle meditation, giving them confidence and peace of mind rather than physical strength or power to help them. Granting them the mindset to help them achieve would be far better than just handing them the victory. Either way she would merely observe the lesson for now, and look out for any promising individuals that she might have to keep an eye on in the future.

Oz Sill

The Temple of the Grey...it was a fascinating structure. More so, what took place within, and those whom inhabited it. Standing outside the building proper, was a young woman dressed in a traditional garb for young padawan learners of the Jedi Order. The young woman's hood was up, but lowered slightly atop her head as though she had recently tucked a stray strand of her dark hair behind her ear and hadn't bothered to fix it, revealing several small vestigial horns. Her copper colored eyes were wide, taking in the image as though they were receivers that could immortalize the image in her brain forever. It was truly a wonderful moment. Of course, she had already wasted enough time, and needed to get inside and begin her legitimate studies within the order. Up until now, it was all introductory, and the real learning was to begin. Oz couldn't deny for even a moment how excited she was to finally begin her actual jedi training. Even just being here, she could feel the presence of others with stronger connections to the Force. In fact, many of them, their presence was almost...overwhelming.

With an almost audible gulp, the young woman adjusted the strap across her chest, heaving her pack up back into a more comfortable position on her shoulder before beginning to make her way up the steps into the temple proper. The building was large, more so than she had expected from the outside. The halls were expansive, the floors and structures beautifully crafted, and each step rang out and almost seemed to echo completely throughout. It didn't take more than a few minutes for her to pinpoint the location where the large group had been gathering. Interestingly enough, it wasn't in the building itself so much as nearby outside. After a few minutes of searching anxiously, Oz found the garden, and immediately noticed that her senses had been fairly accurate, with a fairly large large number of people standing around. The crowd was diverse, more so than she would have expected. Different ages, genders, species, styles, etc... Oz had to force herself to avert her gaze from each individual after several seconds of looking at them, her mind picking apart every detail her eyes perceived as if attempting to categorize each of them. Or, more accurately, in a vain attempt to understand as much about them from a glance as she could. That isn't to say that she wasn't often accurate in her observations, they were usually quite good, but in her time studying with the jedi, she learned that she would have to focus on not letting her mind get carried away so easily. There was more to learning than just knowing, they had told her.

Oz wasn't sure how long it would take them all to notice the young woman entering, even though she wasn't making any effort to be stealthy. It was obvious many of them had been speaking to each other, and odds were, many of them knew each other. Which just made her all the more a stranger among them. That was fine though, in truth, the youthful Zabrak was becoming accustomed to it. A faint, albeit nervous, smile crossed her dark lips as she lowered her hood completely, offering a polite bow of her head to anyone whom had bothered to notice her. Unsure as to whether or not any of them would understand, Oz performed a simple gesture with her free hand, raising her hand upward palm facing the sky before closing her fist and putting up against her mouth. This gesture, one she used often, was a sign to tell others that she couldn't speak. For those who understood, it usually helped, but, those who didn't probably just would think she was weird. That was fine. It wasn't surprising at all that many members of the galaxy, especially those who could speak, wouldn't recognize many signs. Once her hand lowered, she rested it on her hip, attempting to make her smile less nervous and more friendly. She suddenly found herself wishing that they had given her more instructions than just to come here and seek out any masters to give her direction. A slight furrowing of her brow would show discomfort, her gaze faltering slightly towards the ground as she nervously looked down. At a time like this, she couldn't help but feel out of place, as she often did.

Alexandra turned her eyes on Mereel Vaun for a moment, smiling at him as he made his comment about neutering his best asset but doing so was the point of this training. He had to learn to handle things as a team, as there was only so much he could do alone. She was not about to let him forget that though and with that grin growing a hair longer, she spoke to him as he talked with Avin Starfire

"Perhaps I should retrieve a grenade from the tempe then, as that would seem to be you main mode of operation when you are left alone." She looked now at his arm, the words clear and without hesitation before she returned to focus on Hannah. Her eyes studied the woman for a few more seconds before speaking again.

"That is correct. All of you will be attempting to seize my flask from me without any hinderance from those observing. The other masters like Master Minna, and Master Grayson can help you, or merely observe, but their involvement in stopping you will be minimal and never direct. And with that said, I do believe we can get started if everyone is ready to go. If you all wish to split into smaller groups, one large group, or perhaps alone..." She paused for a moment, telling them the option was there, even if she advised against it. "... then please do so."

Her eyes caught Oz Sill showing up and she wondered what the woman was doing being so silent. It was then that she made her gesture and the smile Alex had been wearing turned softer. She understood and whildlook at Daeda, the Ashlan wolf that was her companion looking back and nodding before it ran off into the forest.

It was interesting, the group that had assembled. The newest arrival being a Zabrak who could not speak, with other interesting individuals such as Kua and Hannah, unique beings Alexandra had not seen before. And then there was Abigail Meredydd, Giddean Kuat, and Mereel, who Alexandra knew well. The next individuals that had arrived so far, or atleast had shown themselves would all have different ideas as to how to achieve success.

Her eyes then moved to Cedric Grayson, Avin Starfire, and Minna, smiling as she turned and waved.

"Do use this time to observe and show some interest in the students you three, they could use any suggestions and teaching moments you all have for them. Ill be sitting by the waterfall a few hundred meters north, there is a river there and some stones that rise above the water... I look forward to seeing how you all start this little lesson of ours." She cast a glance at the students, smiling before stepping down from the garden and off into the forest, letting them decide how they would tackle this and who would help who.
