Location - with the botanical crew, overseeing escorting
It was boring work, escorting botantis through caves to find some weird moss supposedly rare...how was moss even rare? Star had literally forest full of the fething poodoo! Literally her normal house she should walk out see the rock that's been there for years that has moss! But for some reason this moss was rare and had to be studied
Either way, star was hear because the mand'alor was, which meant she was high priority. Humming to herself stardust walked along side them looking around the place, yeah she had to admit it was beautiful just didnt care about the moss at all.taking a seat she looked around, scanning the area for any dangers...seemed peaceful
Then, a all to familiar sound hit her, niles away she heard the explosions heading for them and stood quickly as she looked down the caves and then yelled out
INCOMING! EVERYBODY GET TO COVER NOW!
Stardust went to the front of the group, holding her hands out ready to try and do something she didnt do often...stop the explosion

Objective 1: Write bad poetry and avoid getting blasted to pieces.
Beth was straggling from the group. Her attention was on the datapad in her hand and she occasionally took a moment to look up to make sure they hadn’t gone too far. She’d hit a rock that had fallen from the top of the big, ever-expanding cavern. Unlike her mother, her interests did not really go into botany. She loved pretty flowers and stuff, just… Not all the stuff Yasha Cadera liked about it.
But, she had elected to take a course in natural medicine which is really what led her here. Her mother was an expert and, well, she’d rather learn from her than from some boring professor in a lecture hall.
Nonetheless, Beth had heard of some kind of poetry contest about weapons and armors, so her focus had moved from kind of boring topic to a challenge. As she wrote in the “Notes” section, she began to realize just how bad she was at poetry. Really, it wasn’t a talent she possessed.
Blasters is like… Pastors? Armor is like my charmers…? My body armor is like a tenant farmer… Ready to… Farm… What am I doing with my life?
A huff emitted from Beth’s lips as she grumbled and looked up to the group ahead. She should probably catch up – but she really wasn’t that far. Regrettably, she heard the sound of explosions, and the perpetual shaking of ground and then a Stardust Solus Skirae scream about explosions. She glanced back as she ran towards the group, but quickly realized she was not going to make it in time. She needed to think fast to protect herself - the others were strong, armored, and knew how to defend themselves. Ugh, she should have listened - don't get too far, Beth. Pay attention, Beth.
Either way, with the sudden realization that she wouldn't make it to the group, she rolled towards the edge of the cavern, covered her head and threw a Force Shield of white-blue, with the smallest hints of a light peach color, around her. She was still too far to really help the others. Her beskar’gam could probably take a pounding but it never hurt to keep an extra layer between her and the impending orange-yellow explosions that were seconds away from the group.
At least if she lived through this, she could heal them in a jiffy.

Adenn had decided to accompany the group that was going to explore the moss. Supposedly it was rare, but Adenn didn't see that. It just looked like plain old moss to Adenn, and to top it off, it was a boring assignment. Something that did make it better though was the company. Stardust Solus Skirae was there, someone who Adenn knew, and the Mandalor herself as well(Yasha Cadera). It seemed she enjoyed botanical things, if her excited tone was anything to go by. Then there was Beth Cadera who was doing poetry. It was interesting to say the least. And distracting, because she was far behind the group. So, Adenn being one of the guards here, accompanied her.
He hung back with her and watched and listened to her poetry. Now Adenn wasn't a poet by any stretch of the word, so he couldn't judge, and so he wouldn't. So he simply walked with her, that was until an explosion was heard in the background. And another, and another. Immediately Star had shouted for everyone to get down, and the Mandalore really wanted to protect that moss. Adenn though, he was too far back and thus stuck with Beth. She rolled to the side of the cavern and used the force.
Adenn did the same thing, only he jumped off in front of her. He used his body to shield her as much as possible, wanting to take the brunt of the explosion. After all, she was a medic and would be needed to heal anyone hurt. So, that was where he found himself, half crouched leaning over Beth to shield her from the explosion. Then the explosion hit them, and it was vicious. It didn't last longer than a moment, but felt like a lifetime. When it did stop though, Adenn was there, in front of Beth. His armor smoking, and he being injured barely registered the Mandalors call.
He did though, and called back.
"Beth's safe. I'm" groaning, Adenn fell forward on his knees. his entire backside smoking. "hurt. Do your job beth." He lightly half joked to her. Then he fell forward in pain, on the edge of consciences. He lay there on the ground in front of Beth.

Adenn Kyramud Yasha Cadera Beth Cadera
The force flowed around her, she managed to least get q few people behind her flames going over her as she roared out moving back a bit flames licking at her armor and skin singing it a bit. She closed her eyes and disappated the flames from above her as she panted and grew her blasters aining around
all good! Beth! Adenn! How about you two!
Sound of blasters reached her, turning quickly she looked in the direction of the blaster then yelled back
any one who is combat ready to the front now! Keep a group in the back this could be a ambush!
She let a breath out, eyes scanning everywhere ready for a fight now

Beth sighed as she continued her poetry – clearly, Adenn did not appreciate her attempts at the muse of poetry. He had stayed behind to guard her, assumingly. Although, to be fair, she was not gifted by the muse gods of poetry, apparently. A few hearts, some initials, had been drawn over the notes of her datapad. Maybe she should just stick to singing – clearly, this line of entertainment was not her forte.
Yasha Cadera said something about a bro fight kelulla. What in the world? She squinted as she watched her mom kneel and get samples. “I’m sure it’s very fascinating!” She said back through her comms. “I’m just trying to get this poetry thing,” she muttered as another line got struck through.
The last thing she heard was “PROTECT THE MOSS.” She tried to expand her shield to encompass Adenn, but she was still a pretty weak in its use. In the end, Adenn was wrapped around her to protect her.
The next thing she remembered was the aching of her body as she heard Adenn say her name. Smoke, dust, and dirt filled the air as she tried to shake off the shock from the explosions. Yasha and Stardust was okay, whew. She waited to hear for the rest of the group. “I’m okay,” she said through her comms. Really, the only problem with Beth was the ringing in her ears and the ache from the impact of the explosion. Maybe bruises, but she could check that out later. “Adenn’s hurt.” Her buy’ce scanning for potential injuries. It was mostly burns, at least. And mostly on his back.
Adenn Kyramud's beskar might be toasted, though. “I can heal him, bad burns," she muttered through her comms as she carefully laid Adenn face-flat on the ground. “I’ll have to take your beskar off,” she muttered as she opened her bag – which, luckily for them, contained general medical supplies that she kept with her on missions, including a mask so the air would be filtered. With that, she unlocked his buy’ce and sat it beside her as she placed the mask around his mouth and nose.
“Can confirm blaster fire, I’m not sure exactly where,” she repeated as she pulled his chest piece off. She winced as the smell of burnt flesh came up. Burn wounds were the worst. First, she gave him a shot of bacta to jump-start the healing process along with an anesthetic. She placed her hands over his back as she connected herself to the Force – and felt the small, interlacing of his skin slowly repairing itself. It might take a bit longer than she expected.

Valdus had been farther up at the front of the party, acting as a scout and guard against any unsavory fauna that may be lurking in the tunnels. The visible light lamp on the side of his helmet shown through the cave, scouring corners, but also throwing very large shadows from fallen rocks and other obstructions. He heard the commotion behind him and when he turned he saw the the glow and heard the explosions. His comlink roared to life with the desperate words of the Mand'alor "Protect the moss" so that he would do. Raising his knees up the Mandalorian began his slow charge towards a large patch of moss. Bringing up his large shield he knelt down in front of the moss, head down - he was ready. The wave of explosions crashed against the beskar powersuit and the armor, pushing Valdus backwards into the wall ontop of the moss. Did he die just now? Did he die protecting Moss?
Minutes later his eyes opened up slowly, he could see daylight he thought. His entire body felt heavy, there must have been some damage to the power supply on his back. Grunting he sat up and looked around dazed. When he looked down towards his legs he saw them covered in what must have been several hundred kilograms of fallen rocks. " Kriff." He muttered, then looked behind him. Moss intact, for the most part. " Better than me I suppose." He grunted out ruefully.

Mig sat there, honestly bored out of his buy'ce (helmet). Why he had volunteered to help was lost to him at this point. Maybe he was hoping to see some new creatures to mock Talyn with, just so he could say he's see something she hasn't, but right now he was stuck in a cave with glowing moss of all things. Ugh! If his Buir had mentioned anything like this possibly being a mission he'd take as a child, he would have laughed at the man. But here he was, looking at moss. At least Yasha Cadera seemed excited, though he felt bad for Beth Cadera. The Mand'alor was trying to get her excited about this, but it was clear she could almost care less.
It was then that Mig noticed a unique rock formation, which was actually interesting to him. He went closer to it, then... BOOM!
Everything was black for a moment before the Alor tried to get up, but soon looked down to see his left leg pinned. Osik! This wasn't good. Beth was there at least, so healing wouldn't be an issue, he hoped. Dang his light armor wasn't helping right now. He then heard the Mand'alor call for a status report. He soon called out in reply, clearly hurting. "I'm pinned!" Mig then pulled out both his vibrosword and his Trayc'kad, trying to start prying his way out.

Laandur looked carefully at the rare vegetation that was there. Stuff like this often had some use for a recon specialist like him. Sedatives, truth compelling substances, poisons. The possibilities were really endless. Sad what would have been a nice expedition was interrupted. And explosion rocked the cave system, causing the once peaceful expedition to go on the defensive. The recon Mando'ad looked around, soon hearing his clan mate Stardust Solus Skirae call for any able bodies to push. The man quickly grabbed his pistol and ran ahead, switching his recon gear to thermal.
"I'll check ahead, vod, and report back with what I see." And with that he was off, going to get a lay of what was ahead of them.

Objective 1: Protect Doc. Free Mig. Find Baddies. Rip arms.
Moss. Sterling was taking time away from tending to his Krayt to look at moss, though to be fair it wouldn't likely have any problems. This was an important day for him personally, considering present company, and he would have been foolish to not take the opportunity. Heavy steps echoed a bit behind the lot, as the living fortress walked behind them all, fully armored to protect his body from the lowered temperature. The caves felt too, cold, too cold for his blood. It was uncomfortable even for his face to handle, leaving him with little to do but armor up and bear it. At least there was some amusement to take in Mand'alor's enthusiasm, which he caught on full display as he trailed behind them all with the Doctor... Ta-ow-zee. She made good company, seeing as she listened to his ramblings of Komo life more than most. That, and she let him read her medical journals.
A budding friendship he treasured.
He really hadn't paid much attention to the walk, seeing little of purpose for his presence, until the sound of distant explosions rocked the caverns. Quick as a two meter beskar giant of a man could, he moved between it and Taozi Fuyuan, grabbing and holding her protectively with his back to the flames as the energy shield powered on. The flames kissed around his body, parted just enough to protect whoever was directly in front of him, in this case the doctor, for however long it lasted. This overclocked the shield, which powered down immediately, but thanks to the suit's regulation device, and remarkable energy resistance, he was able to move away with a pained groan. Though, shortly after, a small laugh. "Feel warm. Feel good."
He glanced around at the situation, noting that Mig Gred seemed to be losing a fight with some rocks. Not wanting to leave him to his fate with such pesky foes, the man walked over and engaged his retractable claws, digging the beskar into the rocks and rather casually lifting and tossing them aside. They were far too big for a human, but a wookie strength creature? Not unlikely. He did this, until the legs were cleared. "Rock vanquished. You good. Doc fix, you walk off." He gave Mig a firm nod, before he moved to try and find anyone else that needed help.

Objective - repel the ambush!
Allies - Yasha Cadera Sterling Kinslayer Laandur Solus Mig Gred Valdus Bral Beth Cadera Adenn Kyramud
Enemies - fethers shooting at us, possibly coconuts?
yeah I hear the engines...sounds like bikes heading our way!
Only one thing confirmed that, the swoop bikes moving right into the caves. Drawing a pistol and a saber she activated the black blade and narrowed her eyes as she roared towards the enemy and blocked a shoot before firing back
defensive perimeter! Form a circle! Get the wounded into the middle behind cover now!
Looking over to yasha she gave a grin, moving back to the group as she aimed at one swoop bike and fired for the engine sending it up in flames and careening off into a wall
I dont know yasha! Could be the moss but something doesnt smell right with any of this

Beth tried her best to hold her breath and only breath through her mouth. Truly, there was no worse smell than that of burnt flesh. Adenn was severely burned, with third degree burns. It was a miracle the beskar hadn’t molded into his skin, truth be told. It did explain how he was even somewhat lucid as the pain receptors had been practically fried.
Unfortunately for Adenn, the lowest part of his skin was healing nicely which meant his pain receptors would be turning back on – and his pain, despite the anesthetic, would increase dramatically before tampering off. The lowest level had to be healed first as it posed the most risk to complications.
Beth continued to move her hands right above his skin as the blue-white with the slightest touch of peach pink descended onto Adenn’s back. Small sweat beads began to form on her ‘brow, slowly dropping off onto her buy’ce before the enviro controls removed the moisture. This wasn’t like a simple fracture – this was literally replacing dead skin with new ones. It was taxing, tiring – and they were only about maybe 55% completed.
The blaster fires, though, provided some distraction and adrenaline. One such blast hit the absorption shield around her beskar’gam. They were too exposed. Beth quickly took the belt off and wrapped it around Adenn’s waist so he would be protected before quickly dragging him behind some rocks. “A bit over half way with Adenn. 15-20 more minutes, and he'll be ready. Mig, can you reach me? I think I saw Sterling get the rock off of you. I can heal your leg pretty quickly.”
She paused as she tried to keep her focus mostly on Adenn, but also on the surrounding situations – her eyes catching the armored mountain called Valdus. Oh no… “Valdus, are you okay?” She hadn't heard him report in. His armor was strong… So perhaps he wasn’t injured, but the concern created a pit in her stomach.
Hearing something about Star, and Yasha mentioned the Euceronans attacking us. “Did anyone even know we’d be down here besides their government?”

Táozi wondered to herself why she followed the expedition. Moss was not something she tended to utilize often, and what could go wrong on a mission to get moss? At the very least, she was in enjoyable company. She scrolled through her medical tablet idly, listening to the conversations going on, until the tell-tale sound of an explosion boomed. For the smallest second, Táozi panicked.
Then she felt Sterling's presence in front of her.
She tensed as the flames of the explosion surrounded them, only protected my Sterling and the gadgets he had on his beskar'gam. Táozi stayed still until the flames had passed, before watching Sterling walk over to Mig, and followed.
"Your leg is broken, don't move." Táozi kneeled down, and inspected his leg, applying pressure in area to let her know how badly the break was. "Luckily for you it's a mostly clean break. Shouldn't be too hard to set, bite down on this." She reached into her bag, and pulled out a cloth-wrapped stick, placing it in his palm for him. Once Mig would put the stick in his mouth, Táozi set her hands in the proper places, and quickly set the bone back into place. "Now, let's get you over to Beth, shall we?"

Mig groaned as he tried to pry the rock off until he heard Sterling Kinslayer come over. He groaned as he felt the rock get lifted off leg, and gave the lizard-man a quick "Thank you." He looked down. That didn't look good.He then heard Beth Cadera ask if he could get to her. The Mando'ad'jetii tried to move a bit, but soon let out a yell.
"Agh! No! My... my leg...!" He then saw someone else coming up. It was Taozi Fuyuan , the medic Alor he had met before. She said his leg was broken. Ok. He could feel that. What surprised him was that it was a clean break. Táozi then gave him a stick to bite down on. Mig pulled his helmet off, and bit down. He screamed as the leg was popped back into space. Osik that hurt! Gah! The medic then said they should get to Beth. Mig nodded.
"Yeah. Good idea."

Laandur quickly ducked as he heard the swoops fly by, taking a quick count before contacting the others.
"You have four swoops heading your way." He then noticed Kanta Tukka . "And I have a target." The spy Mandalorian then grabbed the little coconut wearing creature and pinning him to the wall. "Ok little guy, you better explain what's going on or I'll have to crack you open."

Objective 1: Move Mig. Free Valdus. Find enemy. Rip arms.
Blasters. Noise. Death.
Sterling's body almost shook with anticipation of a fight, but he had to contain it. There were other matters to tend to, injured. As one of the few 'medics' present he had to at least get them under cover. Starting with the closest. So to make good time, he reached into a medical kit he'd gotten attached to his belt under his armor skirt, and pulled out the necessary components. With everything in hand, he took note of where the break was, and managed to get a rough splint in place. A pair of firm rods, tied above and below the break itself.
Then he gingerly reached underneath Mig, picked him up, and moved him into cover by Beth. "Leg broke. You stay. Walk off later. Kill." He patted Mig's head and glanced over at Valdus. This wouldn't do. He felt blaster bolts ringing around him as he walked over, ignoring the few glancing shots that hit him as he made his way through open air to observe the rocks.
His ARHUD outlined the rocks nicely, and he observed everything patiently. Yes yes, it was a sturdy pile, but if he took out the boulders.... he reached in and violently yanked away several large rocks, his beskar claws digging into the stone easily as he pulled a few away, causing most of the pile to crumble and collapse away from Valdus. There was one last significant hurdle, and he dug his claws into it. With a mighty groan, he lifted the rock up and over his head, before hurling it to the side. It dug into the ground, conveniently providing cover for more moss. "Look forward. Good fight coming. Still punch good yes? Meet there."
Medic duties done. Fun duties now.
Leaving literally everyone behind, he started to walk (seeing as he couldn't really run) forward out of the circle, towards the sounds of combat. He patted Star on the shoulder as he passed, and there was a loud shink sound as his claws engaged. His tail swished happily as he made more than a few clicks and hisses, happy lizard hunting noises, as he approached the distant enemies with thunderous steps.
He had no guns, after all. Please ignore the shotgun on his back.
He watched carefully as one of the swoops decided to charge him directly. His posture changed immediately, as he waited, then there was a sickening noise as Sterling sidestepped the bike, and grabbed the driver off of it. And by grab, he meant dug his claws into his chest, and probably broke a few things as the bike continued away from underneath him. Following this, he slammed the pilot into the ground, and roared a challenge at everything that endangered his family.
