Mission Two: Clean House.

Location: Trandosha, Hsskor (Capital City).

Taskforce: Antarian Rangers.

Introduction:

Two teams of Silver Jedi have failed to intercept a weapons deal in which Janik Lugar, a confirmed criminal link to the recent piracy occurring in New Apsolon Space. Janik Lugar is now suspected of being tied to a larger international Criminal Organization and due to his activities on Trandosha as well as the successful exchange of high grade munitions, violence in the streets of Hsskor have escalated beyond the control of the local law enforcement agency in place within the Capital.

In response to the unprecedented violence, the Silver Jedi Order has instructed the Government of Trandosha to put Hsskor under martial law while the Antarian Rangers are sent to sweep and clear any and all criminal personnel from the streets and known gang affiliated locales.

Primary Objective: Secure Hsskor.

The streets of Hsskor are aflame with anarchism and lawlessness. Gang war has broken out between the rebel cell calling themselves the Hsskor Dominion and smaller street gangs in a bid to take control of the Capitals seedy underworld. Martial Law has been called into effect, and residents have been told to remain indoors as the Antarian Rangers sweep the streets of any illicit activities.

Secondary Objective: Take down Janik Lugar.

Janik Lugar is Trandosha’s front man for a larger Criminal Organization suspected of international piracy in the Kastolar Sector. His apprehension is of a high priority, however Hsskor is the target objective. If forced to confront this individual, Rangers have the green light to eliminate the target.

Silver Shadow Intelligence suggests that Janik Lugar now has a foothold in the industrial sector of Hsskor where the source of his interaction with the rebel cell known as the Hsskor Dominion appears to originate from a warehouse compound. Satellite imaging suggests approx numbers to be in the high twenties.

Anetta Solus had served as the informant for the Order of the Silver Jedi on Trandosha for over a year now, an Agent of the Silver Shadows and the lead field agent during the previous mission that had meant to target two suspected Criminal Organizations, intercepting a weapons deal and apprehend a person of great interest in the recent growth of piracy across the Kastolar Sector.

Unfortunately the weapons deal went ahead uninterrupted and a wealth of advanced firepower was supplied to the ambitions of the Hosskor Dominion, which only further served to destabilize the Criminal Underworld of the Capital City and inflame the already fragile relations between rival gangs. To make matters worse, with the agreement set in stone between the Hosskor Dominion and their new associates, the suspected pirates, had been given a foothold to base their actives out of a private compound in the industrial sector of Hosskor.

Anetta had briefed the Silver Assembly on the previous assignment and had been given due notice that the Antarian Rangers were being sent in. Hosskor (the City) was rife with turmoil as the smaller Gangs fought to defend their territories against the Dominion's greater firepower. While their friendly weapons dealers were nowhere to be seen in the streets amidst the chaos, it wasn't difficult to connect the escalation in violence with the recent meeting between them and the Raiders, whom had yet to be named. For this, they still required confirmation and Anetta had hoped that would come from the apprehension of Janik Lugar, the Raider's primary man on Trandosha now.

The game plan had changed, however. Martial law was quickly put into effect at the behest of the Silver Jedi's encouraging the authorities of Trandosha to safe guard the civilian populace, keeping them indoors where and when possible. There was still plenty of noise to be heard in the streets of Hosskor, though these were the voices of dissent, criminals and rogues, gang members trying to take advantage of the anarchy. Either looking to steal, or being an active part in the fighting and warring between gangs.

For a field agent, this wasn't the sort of work Anetta specialized in. Her expertise was far more covert...-This was something else entirely and required a firm hand to reinstate law and order. The Silver Assembly felt the Rangers were fit for the job, and so she hoped they would be correct. Hosskor was a large City, and regardless of their primary suspect, retaining some semblance of control would be a challenge in itself.

COMMAND AND CONTROL - OPERATION CLEAN HOUSE

OBJ I. SECURE HSSKOR

OBJ II. ELIMINATE JANIK LUGAR

Shriek-hawk Actual.

That's what Amon's callsign would be for this operation of securing Hsskor. Part in tribute to the infamous symbol of clan Vizsla, and part because it had become a nickname of his among the Mandalorians, involuntarily. It also fitted his role in the operation - an overwatch, supervising the teams sent below aboard the stealth frigate that drifted at the edges of the planet's atmosphere.

Commander Falkosi had warned him that this was to be a precise operation due to its incredibly delicate nature. They were to sweep the capital city of hostile elements not necessarily dressed in any recognizable uniform with no civillian casualties. The commander pointed out severely that the Rangers under his command would have to be less trigger happy than usual. Considering Task Force Raider's reputation of extremely murderous record and tendency to overkill, Amon understood the commander's concerns.

"Raiders, this is Shriek-hawk. Be advised - keep your trigger itchy fingers until you are absolutely positive that your targets are hostile." the Captain called over the comms as holographic feeds ran down before him informing him of everything. "Aim is curbing the threat of illegal armed forces and setting checkpoints and securing spaceports to prevent V.I.P target Lugar from reaching a means of escape should Black Ops fail."

"Operation Clean House is green light."

Operation Clean House

Primary Objective: Secure Hsskor

Location: SJO Shuttle > Hsskor City

Allies: Ella Louka

It was a small bump on the "road" which stirred the young sergeant from his nap, having mastered the art of removing all thought of impending battle even in the last moments before the first shot is fired. Not that the shuttle seats were especially comfy - in fact, quite the opposite - but rather it comes down to a state of mind that allows for calmness and clarity to prevail against nervosity and lack of focus. And, being a veteran of many operations by this point helped in the peace-of-mind Thirdas showcased, knowing well what horrors one might expect to see.

"Making landfall at Hsskor City in three minutes," the loudspeaker informed the platoon of Rangers filling the vessel to capacity. By now Thirdas was one of the more seasoned fighting men to serve in Dorn Company, and had earned the full respect of his battle-brothers, from Rookie to Captain. So, when the sergeant spoke, the shuttle of Rangers listened.

"Gear up, ladies! Time to show this world how the Antarian Rangers do things! Remember your briefing: No firing unless fired upon, or hostile activity is confirmed!"

In response, the platoon let out a unified war chant powerful enough to put a smile on Sergeant Heavenshield's face. While the others began checking their weapons and gear, Thirdas instead leaned back and pulled up a holographic picture of someone most dear to him. Nida Perl had not long ago moved into his assigned NCO apartment, and together the two had made some progress in turning it into a proper home fit to live in. It was a small place, neither suited nor intended for two but neither really minded the constant closeness. It was, however, too small for a double bed and so Thirdas took to spending his nights on the couch, for - as mentioned earlier - his knack for blissfully falling asleep whenever and wherever served him well.

In truth, it was Nida who provided him with the peace to sleep so well, even while riding into battle. He was happy knowing she was safely at home on Kashyyyk, probably spending her evening spooking herself with another old holo-vid.

Across from him there sat a woman about his age, whom he hadn't seen on missions before. At first glance she looked like someone who would not hesitate to scratch your eyes out if she felt slighted, so rather than strike a conversation he'd kept to himself during the shuttle ride. He didn't feel like making friends in case she'd turn up dead minutes from now.

Operation Clean House

Primary Objective: Secure Hsskor

Location: SJO Shuttle > Hsskor City

Allies:  Thirdas Heavenshield

Fresh out of training from the Ranger Base on Antar 4, Ella was viewed by the others as a ‘Shiny’. That could be further from the truth. Taken, as a child in the Netherworld event, she had grown up in a desolate place with others that had had the misfortune of entering it and never returning, she was one of the lucky ones she supposed, not even a year passed had she been back. But life in the Netherworld had prepared her for survival against insurmountable odds, threat to life was always present and one could never truly escape the tension of it.

Today she felt the same tension. Looking around her to see the faces of many she did not know, some she did has they were on base in her time. They had that look in their eyes, terror of their first mission, not sure of themselves and all they had was to place trust in command and their equipment. “Check it again”, she said to one of the fresh-faced privates sitting next to her. “It is always good to make sure your weapons are prepared”, and it gave the lad something to do to take his mind off what was to come.

She flashed a look over at the Sargent sitting asleep until jolted out of it. He did not look much older than herself, but by the look of him, had seen some hard action which she was pleased about. The idea of a leader wet behind the ears was not ideal to say the least.

One last check of the gun and she was ready for deployment. Ella keeping her own nerves in check, not relishing being trapped in the vehicle, much preferring to be tracking through the landscape, she felt like a sitting duck.Sooner they were out the better.

Operation Clean House

Secondary Objective: Eliminate Janik Lugar

Team: Task Force Raider Assault Team l Rupert Kingswood

Task: Breach Target Building, Eliminate Janik Lugar

Currently: En Route Via Gunship

"Let 'em hang."

The fatigue-clad operators moved their legs out, letting them hang out of the open doors of the aircraft. Over the city, their gunships shrieked over the chaos, en route to a specific objective, as opposed to the security aspect of the mission, lead by Sergeant Heavenshield. Truth be told, Tulan had taken Rupert because he knew that this could get... dirty. Thirdas was a goody-two-shoes. Tulan wanted to see if Rupert was able to cross a line, a line that not a lot of soldiers, men, or good, decent people wanted to cross.

The line of course, being what people were willing to do for safety, for security, of themselves, and people they loved. Their legs were inches above rooftops, and the crew chiefs let loose a few bursts from the door-mounted guns, cutting down a few dissenters who wanted to take pop shots at the gunships. They shrieks of red bolts crossing the night, mixed with the fire and smoke, could be seen from a great distance.

Tulan looked over at the pilot. Two fingers. Two minutes. He reached to his radio, clicking it on. A tracker begin to blip on Amon Vizsla's screens and command module, indicating that Tulan and the Assault Team were closing in on Janik's last known location.

"Shriek Hawk this is Assault Six. We are two minutes out, I say again, two minutes out."

The green light was already given. Janik was going to live the last few moments of his life in confusion, in fear, and ultimately, at the business end of a suppressed rifle from a pissed off Ranger. The Jedi had failed to capture or locate Janik, and was becoming the trend, the Silver Jedi dispatched the Rangers to do the dirty work. Jedi were all well and good, Tulan supposed- good for studying and meditating. But to actually making people safe and eliminating threats- that came from the business end of a rifle. Books didn't change anything, hope and peace didn't. It was making someone dead that really changed things.

No person, no problem.

Tulan looked over at the other gunship, screeching along to his right. Rupert was in that one, tagging along with him again... mostly against his will. Tulan had voluntold him for the mission to begin with. Tulan chambered a round in his RS16, hearing the bolts go home on most of the other Ranger's rifles at the same time. They had the business rifles, the ones that the deceased Commander Ryburn commissioned- caseless, suppressed, and deadly. A slugthrower for the operator, for the killer, for the Raiders.

Rangers may have lead the way, but Task Force Raider were the ones who did all the real work. All the real, government-sanctioned murder. Trandosha, like it or not, was going to have peace and stability. Kicking and screaming, the Raiders would drag any of these criminals, these has-been two bit thugs preying on weaker people, or other gangs, and round them up into paddy wagons, or line the streets with bodybags of those who wanted to do innocent people harm. The Jedi talked you to death. The Rangers shot you to death. But you never saw the Raiders coming.

The pilot held up another finger. One minute.

"We are one minute out from the target, Shriek Hawk. One mike from target."

Operation Clean House

Secondary Objective: Eliminate Janik Lugar

Team: Task Force Raider Assault Team | Tulan Kor

Task: Breach Building, Eliminate Target

Location: En Route via Gunship

"You get to hang out with the big boys, Corporal. Lock and Load."

Task Force Raider, the team that Gunnery Sergeant Kor lead into battle. From this, he knew two things. This was going to be serious, yet really really fun. He sat in the gunship, slouched over, checking over his rifle. He wiped of small specks of dust and grime from previous battles, letting the chrome shine. The rifle had into be in perfect shape in order fire correctly. Who knows, that weapon might be your lifeline in the heat of battle. He along with several other Task Force Raiders relaxed in the aircraft, yet most of them had a serious tone. These guys, he had only imagined working with them. Big, tough, and all assets apart of a team that in reality, they held higher than themselves.

True courage. True tenacity. True badassery.

The corporal knew little about the target. Janik Lugar. From the briefings the known information was given. Simple details, basic description. The place he held out in was somewhat secure. Armed guards, a little protection on the outside. Nothing too bad, all of which they could most likely handle. A layout of the building displayed in his HUD. A warehouse. As if this was still back in basic training. It's almost like Lugar wanted to get killed. But nevertheless, A Game was top priority.

He took of his helmet once more, staring back at the battle scarred piece of equipment. The blue visor shut off to save power, so all Kingswood could see was his reflection. The face off a man who's been through alot. A true Ranger, through and through. At least that's how he thinks of it. It was from a voluntold point of view that he was forced to come along with Tulan. The more he did missions with Kor, the more he saw eye to eye. It's like he wants to tell him something. Something important.

The corporals blank stare was interrupted by the pilot yelling from the cockpit. Two minutes, he cried out. The blood started to rush again. The inevitable was to come.

As time went by, the pilot yelled the signal for one minute out. He heard Tulan's voice over the comm network. Kingswood grabbed his rifle and pushed in the new magazine, feeling and hearing the click. He pulled the slide back all the way and let it spring forward. He clicked the safety on and screwed the suppressor on tightly. Locked and loaded. He grabbed his helmet that was sitting beside him, and pushed it firmly onto his head. The blue visor went up once more. The HUD started to fly into his line of sight. He grabbed his rifle from off of the wall and stood up along with the other Task Force Raiders, as intimidating as they are.

He was ready to get down and dirty.

He couldn't help but notice the young woman glance back at him. Against his better judgement, Thirdas opened his mouth. "Hey! Never seen you around before. What's your name, Private?" She looked like someone who'd been through hell and back already.

"This your first mission? With the Rangers, I mean." Obviously she'd seen action before, or she wouldn't be on the team. But any prolonged conversation would have to wait, for three minutes was like the blink of an eye when one was going into battle. As the shuttle came in for its landing alongside many others, the interior lights turned from a neutral white to an alarming red.

"Approaching LZ now. Go kick ass out there, Rangers!" One last message from the pilot before they touched solid ground, followed by the ramp being lowered. "Move out, soldiers! Clear the shuttle, on the double!"

The sergeant turned to the woman he'd attempted a conversation with earlier, and offered a confident nod. "I'm Thirdas. Nice to meet you." Next his helmet came on, turning him into just another grunt save the chevrons on his armour. With his mother's rifle strapped across his chest he and Ella were the last to step off the shuttle, which then would prepare to take off once more.

"Just stick with me and you'll be fine," he assured her as they strode through several companies' worth of troopers forming up and getting ready to move out towards their respective sectors of the city. It was a lot of ground for each company to cover, having been tasked with sweeping an entire city's worth of structures, inhabited or otherwise.

"Shriek Hawk this is Assault Six. We are two minutes out, I say again, two minutes out."

Tulan's familiar voice came through the comms and Amon acknowledged it by gazing at the feed coming from the tactical map view in front of him. A few gestures with his hands and the information arriving narrowed down to the black ops mission led by the corporal. He frowned at the new data coming in.

"Assault Six this is Shriek-hawk. We are detecting unexpectedly high energy levels within the warehouse." nothing like that existed in the preliminary intelligence data. "The target building seems to be shielded by an energy field, might be why we are reading high energy level outputs from within it."

Not really easy for him to know. Shriek-hawk needed visual confirmation from the boots on the ground but there was this itching worry at the back of his head that something did not feel right. Were they expected?

"CAS is yours to call for in ten minutes." Amon stated over to Assault Six after checking with the frigate's ETA to a range viable for CAS operations. "Stay frosty."

OBJ I. SECURE HSSKOR

Thirdas Heavenshield Ella Louka

And with that he was back to supervising the Security Teams of Task Force Raider which were just making landfall at their designated LZs.

"All Ranger Security callsigns, this is Shriek-hawk." Amon's voice would crack through the comms of the various teams' channels. "Reported higher OPFOR activity than previously anticipated. Intelligence has raised the risk of OPFOR elements utilizing civilians as human shields from MEDIUM to HIGH."

"Keep. Your. Trigger Fingers. Steady." the Mandalorian added coldly. Mandalorians were never renown for the principles the Silvers conducted themselves in war. He always saw it as a weakness and as an obstacle when he was down on the ground leading from the front. In reality, he realized, it was worse up here where things were even more out of your control.

The Hsskor Streets:

Primary Objective: Return Order to the Capital City.

Hsskor was a mess, there was rioting everywhere.

Despite marshal law coming into effect, some of the citizens had had enough of the criminality and taken it upon themselves to fight back against those attempting to loot and steal from local stores and homes. Blaster-fire could be heard echoing across the city-scape from all directions, some of the buildings could be seen aflame and the streets were filled with sirens and glowing lights as police units sped across land and air, speeders screaming towards the busiest sectors rife with activity.

Government centers had been locked down, and officials that were in power over the world of Trandosha had called upon the Silver Jedi Order for assistance. The past weeks had seen more criminal activity than they had anticipated and despite having units of their own ready to try to combat the growing menace, their recent troubles had seemingly exploded into an all out riot. Law enforcement was overwhelmed and there didn't seem to be enough officers on duty to match the numbers of civilians rebelling against them. The residential area's that reflected the lesser economics and social status seemed to be worse effected as street gangs revered in the violence and opportunity to prove their strength.

Reports were coming in from medical services, the primary hospital resorting to smaller medical centers for the treatment of victims. Fire and Emergency Services were in full flight alongside the security enforcement agency as they sought to combat the damage being wrought upon the Capital.

The Raider Industrial Compound.

Secondary Objective: Eliminate or apprehend Janik Lugar.

The state of Hsskor had the Chapter's Raiders on edge, Janik Lugar especially as the escalating turf war between the smaller street gangs meant the likelihood of further profiting from the weapons trade; with greater noise however came greater attention from the authorities and while some on the enforcement side of Hsskor could be bought and paid off, the arrival of the Silver Jedi was an entirely different threat.

A comm's call had come in from the outskirts of Hsskor, the incoming vessels alerting Janik's people and bringing word back home to the man in charge of the operation. Trandosha was a valuable world to have a foothold upon, and Tonnor Nalle had gone to a lot of effort to get Janik inside of Hsskor, connected to the Hsskor Dominion and setting up their first successful trade, the Sergeant At Arms had only grown more confident in their business there. The Kastolar Sector Raiders had numerous operations dotted across the sector, each one bringing in an income for the organization, and if Janik's were to be lost then it would Tonnor would likely feel the repercussions from further up the hierarchy; boding ill for Janik himself.

Upon the roof of the compound, a few of his men had positioned themselves to overlook the entrances to the facilities exterior, snipers locked and loaded in the case that either the authorities or one of the smaller rival gangs might get a bit too confident in themselves. Within the facility, his men were armed with fully automatic blaster rifles and shotguns (slug throwers) for close proximity in case any sort of statement needed to be made loud and clear to the rest of the district.

Janik's people had orders to shoot on sight, and being weapons dealers, they had ammunition to spare.

Operation Clean House

Primary Objective: Secure Hsskor

Location: SJO Shuttle > Hsskor City

Allies:Thirdas Heavenshield

Ground was coming up hard, Ella stood and pulled on her belt to secure her items and equipment before taking up her repeater just as they landed.   “Louka”, she looked over the young man’s rank, “Sargent. Ella Louka is my name, Private”, she offered her name, and noted the Sarge was young for such a rank, and she assumed he must have earned it, which meant he was good at what he does.

“I can look after myself, Sarge”, which was very true, however, what she did lack was experience in this sort of mission. Not used to command or structure of this kind. She would stick close to him and learn from experience.

The young private that had sat next to her approached, he was sweating already his nerves getting the better of him.Ella reached for his arm, stopping him saluting the Sarge, “Do that on base, not here. Quickest way to get the Sarge killed”.    Enemy learns quickly who is in command if soldiers salute in the field. And they cut the head off the snake.

The young kid nodded almost trembling in his boots, “Stick with us, you will be alright”. How the hell did that kid make it out of basic. It never truly prepares you for the battle arena.

The three of them the last to leave the shuttle, Ella and the young private striding behind the Sarge, her eye darting around not really liking the idea they were walking exposed.“Orders Sarge?”.

Her finger laid lazy on the trigger, yet her body was tense and alert for anything that might be thrown their way.It was not as if she was gung-ho, but it was made clear to her that the rangers were, which frankly, worried her a deal. It would be the quickest way to get them unwanted attention, aggression from the locals, and more than likely. Dead.

This was not their environment, at the end of the day, they were the intruders in a place rife with criminal elements very much established, and more dangerously, did not want to give it up. She understood looting, in lawlessness, when from one day to the next, could be your last. It was dog eat dog and anything was on the tables for the taking.

OPERATION CLEAN HOUSE

The entire operation now hinged upon the success of the assault team.

And assault, they would. Their goal was violence of action and the speed at which they performed it.

The snipers on the rooftops, albeit placed in a well-established position, were unprepared for a response. Even at their elevated position, criminals with high-powered scopes couldn't match the sheer overwhelming firepower of a gunship carrying the Raiders to their destination.

Next-stop, murder-town.

Tulan's gunship co-pilot leaned forward, identifying the targets through the thermals. They already had the green light. Weapons out anywhere near the target building was grounds for extermination. From the darkness, the criminals probably heard the low hum of the gunship, and a few sharp bursts. Green bolts streaked through the night, and from the air, they rained death on the snipers. To say it was grisly, even through the thermal imaging, was something to say.

Tulan's ship was going to land on the roof, while Rupert's was going to land on the ground level. Tulan's assault team fanned out, securing the rooftop. They had an extremely important objective, both securing the rooftop for extraction, and to cut the power so that their simultaneous entrance to the facility could commence. Tulan's men were thorough, gaining ahold of the respective transformers and circuits for the building. Generators on site were going to provide limited backup power, but without the ability to regulate the amount of electricity, Tulan hoped to blow all the lights out in a single go, rendering the entire building inside pitch-black.

Operation Clean House

"Kingswood, this is Kor. Prepare to breach, executing power failure on your go."

"Kor, this is Kingswood. Solid copy."

Tulan's crew went up to the rooftop while Rupert went with the ground crew. No arguing with that. As long as he got some of the action with the Raiders, he was fine.

The aircraft landed 120 meters away from the warehouse. Kingswood, along with several Task Force Raiders, pulled 360 security as the craft took off. He looked back at the Raiders, as the Squad Sergeant looked back at all of them. He spoke up, making sure everyone could hear him loud and clear.

"Alright boys and girls, we're going dark. No comms, no flashlights. Use your hand signals to communicate. Get your NV on and get ready to move out in 2 minutes."

Kingswood's visor slowly dimmed from a very bright blue down to black. It was black on the outside only to conceal his identity. The Katarn Commando armor stealth capabilities were highlighted in this operation, the optic camo slowly turning the suits dull white color into a translucent clear that you could see right through. The Raiders all gathered up, stacked up on a tattered wall. The corporal would take point, as he had solid knowledge of where the breaching point was. He put a hand sign, signalling forward. The Raiders followed closely behind.

The squad went through alleyways and small corridors, through buildings and somewhat populated areas. All to make sure that they weren't detected by Lugar's men. If they were spotted, it would put the entire mission in jeopardy. In mere minutes, they were face to face with the warehouse. The snipers that lined across the roof edge peered down with their high-powered scopes, making sure to take out anyone who got close to the warehouse. That wouldn't be the Raiders, that's for sure.

Kingswood looked back at the roof edge, then back at the squad. Some of the Raiders were getting antsy because of the lack of action. But all he needed was a couple more minutes to figure out how to get to the breaching point. It was on the the east side of the building, still illuminated by the city lights and looked upon by the criminals on the roof. He noticed a pattern within the sniper movements, however. Every five minutes, they would rotate, leaving a small window of opportunity to act. Thats where their chance is. He looked back at the squad and put up a thumbs up followed by a shrug. Everyone replied back with a thumbs up. He turned around again and took another good luck at the east wall. He held up a fist, waiting for the next rotation. Soon after, the snipers started to shift their positions to the next location. Quickly, Kingswood signalled for the go ahead and rushed over to the side of the building, the Raiders on his 6. After the last man stacked, he took a good luck at the roof edge, then back at the building that they came from. No movement, no noise, no problem. Kingswood held a button on his helmet, which connected him into the COMMs.

"Kor, this is Kingswood. We're in position for the breach, Cut the power in 5, we'll be right behind you."

Primary Objective: Secure Hsskor

Location: LZ > Assigned city sector

Allies: Ella Louka

Enemies: Criminal Scum

Ella Louka. He would remember that name, hoping he would not have to bring back her dog tag by the end of the day. Same with the youngblood she seemed to have taken under her wing; a recent replacement for one of his squadmates who took a bad hit back on Concordia, got his legs blown off. He made it back though, and is undergoing cybernetic surgery to have his legs replaced. It had made Thirdas ponder whether he would approve undergoing the same procedure in the case of him losing a limb; his own father could have had his blind eye replaced years ago, but chose not to. His reasons were likely out of principle, keeping it as a grim reminder of his defeat. Would Thirdas be as stubborn in such a defeat?

Having reached the rallying point for Dorn Company, people were getting ready to move out. "This city is rife with members of the criminal underground, they've wrested control over several sectors," the sergeant briefed his team. "Local authorities are massively outnumbered and stretched thin, so we're to work with them in restoring peace to the city. I don't want any of you pulling the trigger haphazardly, we need confirmation that they are with the underground. We're not leaving here with civilian blood on our hands." He looked each of his team in the eye, making certain they understood. "Right, let's get this show on the road. Dorn Company is moving out in force, but then we'll be on our own securing our designated block."

Just in time to join their fellow Rangers, Sergeant Thirdas and his team moved into the city. At first the situation was relaxed as they wandered through the first city blocks cleared prior to their arrival. Then once they stepped outside the safety zone, guns were raised and all went quiet save for the sound of their footsteps and occasional orders being shouted. Already teams were being separated from the rest, trailing off towards their respective target zones. Thirdas' team remained a while longer before they too would veer off in their own direction, away from the safety of numbers.

"Quick and quiet," he spoke softly before dashing across the street to the nearest building, securing it for the next member of his team to cross. Once all had crossed, they were getting ready to enter. "Dak, fire up the scanner." The Zabrak nodded and pulled out a tiny drone equipped with a scanner capable of seeing through walls and detect enemy movement on the other side. Those scans would then show up on the HUD of their helmets, so they may know the exact location of everyone inside, friend or foe. The drone zoomed up into the air as it began scanning the ground floor, where they would enter, then check each floor to the top.

"No contacts on the ground floor, let's get inside." The scan would proceed meanwhile, mapping the layout of the first floor.

The Raider Industrial Compound.

Secondary Objective: Eliminate or apprehend Janik Lugar.

As the Gunship's blaster-cannon's roared overhead of the compound, the bolts streamlined across the rooftop cutting down the snipers positioned to cover the entrances to the facility exterior. While eliminating the enemy overwatch, it was safe to assume that the sound of the incoming fire had taken the attention of hostiles present within the facility and shouting could be heard therein as the gang affiliated members of Janik's group all prepared for the invasion of armed forces, expecting the local authorities, not the special armed forces of the Order of the Silver Jedi.

The entrances to the facility were rushed upon, some of the doors boarded or barricaded, while Janik Lugar himself grabbed four of his best men and proceeded towards the rear of the facility. The Foundry was a significant building purposed for the smelting of metal works. The majority of the facility was open with catwalks that joined the second floor to the third and would leave those on the first flaw vulnerable to fire, able to use the machinery for cover yet easily flanked by the enemy if the Ranger Unit wasn't careful.

To the rear of the facility housed the storage warehouse and then the office compartments where Janik was headed. Outback was a topless land-speeder where he hoped to make for his escape and a vehicle his men could fire from in the need to defend themselves from their would-be law enforcers.

"Rig the warehouse with explosives. If you're overrun, draw their attention and get out through the back, lead these bastards right through the fire" Janik called to one of his senior members before leaving with his small entourage and making his way for the Office, wanting to secure his belongings before making a quick leave out back.

Lights out.

It wasn't them cutting the power, that enabled the Rangers to have the advantage. It was the fact that they cut the regulators to the power. Juice was still goin', but unchecked. Electricity was finnicky. Disabling the regulation of current meant that every electronic inside the building was paramount to not only disabling any lights, electronics, or countermeasures and security assets, but in fact- the backup generators would have a jolt of unchecked juice going right to 'em.

There was a pop on every light, a flash on every monitor, and a crackle in every outlet and the smell of a light burning metal as the electricity coursed through the building. Inside, it was completely black, save for the windows and the areas near them, a light red tint with the distant burnings and fires of the city to light it up. The Gunships peeled off, ready to extract them later. For now, they provided overwatch and were going to prevent any squirters from leaving the building. Any non IFF-tagged friendlies leaving the building were liable to catch a very unpleasant few rounds from a machine gun to their... well probably their everything.

"Breaching high."

Tulan's assault team, wearing fatigues and high-cut helmets with night visions, to better blend in with local security forces, silently opened the roof access hatch. They moved inside quickly and shut the door, preventing the light from making Tulan's team visible. The first hostile was a man placing his hands on the wall, trying to get a grip. The weapon in his hands sealed his fate. Two shots from an RS-16 to the chest, one to the head. The lack of an ejecting casing made the weapon damn near silent. Just a sharp THWACK sound, and the moving of the bolt in the interior of the weapon.

Tulan stepped forward, taking point. He pulled down his night vision, bathing the world in a gray and white haze. He could see them, but they couldn't see him. Ooga booga indeed.

"This is Kor. We are inside, pushing downwards. Securing third and second floors."

Rupert had the harder of the tasks, but Tulan needed to know if the kid could hack it.

Operation Clean House

Primary Objective: Secure Hsskor

Location: City Sector ~ Hsskor City

Allies:  Thirdas Heavenshield

They were moving out, approaching the edge of the ‘safe zone’ manned by some of the local authorities and rangers to bolster their numbers. Duracrete barriers were they only line of defense and the line in the sand between their hold ground and the target area. It was like a scene from a vid game, once out side the barriers you were on your own. And sound stopped here, the street was quiet, deadly so, which did not help the adrenaline pumping through her body.

As they proceeded toward the first building, in the far distance the sound of gun fire cut the silence, only two shot fired in quick succession and the sound of the echo linger on the air before the silence returned. It was eerie.

Ella pinned her back to the wall, right next to the entrance with her rifle ready in her arms. The Sarge entered clearing the room before they would enter. The young soldier beside her puffing out his cheeks steadying himself, drawing courage with every breath.  Ella just hoped the kid would keep his cool, his head down and stay close. It was times like these that you found out the cut of a person, if they had your back, or would courage fail in them. Only time would tell about this kid.

Once the all clear signal was given by the Sarge,   Ella went in first, the scanner showing no heat signatures but there was an outline of a body on the ground in the room adjacent, cold and the subtle smell of decaying flesh was enough to tell them they had been dead for a while.  The drone was on the second floor, the read outs scrolling in as it passed through each room, although there were not many.

She took the lead this time, and with rifle aimed up the stairs, her firmly fixed upward, she quietly took the steps, staying close to the wall. Once she reached the upper landing, Ella signalled the hall was clear, but the read out showed three heat signatures at the end of the hall, in a room over looking the parallel street to the one they entered from.  She kneed down, her rifle aimed at the door and waited for the rest of her unit to arrive.
