Shil stood on the bridge of a Titan Industries Mobile Corporate Headquarters.

The Selonian's tailed swished back and forth and his eyes set down onto the planet below. There was a serious expression on his face, though it just made his fur look like it was good enough to squish and play with, much like one would a puppy. Shil tried to ignore this fact, he was a serious business man after all and there were important things to be done.

Ashera was a world that had been conquered by the One Sith. Taken and twisted so that their religion followed that of the Sith instead of their ancestors. It was a practice that Shil found somewhat distasteful, but he knew that no one stopped the One Sith when they wanted something, no one.

Of course, his interest was not in the people of this planet.

Instead it was in the ore deposits of the planet. Ashera held a number of unique minerals, minerals that stood as their chief exports. That was why Shil was here today, to oversee the creation of a mining base for these minerals and to ensure cooperation between the One Sith, and ATC when they arrived. He smiled slightly, causing his furry cheeks to puff up.

During the course of the events of the last month Ashera had suffered.

Its government had toppled and lightside cults had begun to take dominion, that was why the MCH wasn't the only ship in orbit of Ashera and was joined by more than half a dozen One Sith Vessels.

They were here to re-subjugate this world.

Shil frowned slightly as the MCH began to dip into the planetary orbit, one of the men calling from behind him to inform him that ATC's representative had made it on board before the MCH's descent towards the mining sites.

Danger lite.

That's what some would call her. Saffron that is. Then again, being raised by the Trade Queen for seven years had a tendency of rubbing off mannerisms on a girl.

Complete with Companion training, it was no wonder many would view the blonde to be a far more jovial and carefree version of her adoptive mother.

She stood beside the Selonian, a small faint smile tickling her lips. He was precious really, enough to want to pet. Alas, she was here at the request of her mama, so in that she would work alongside the Titan aide much like Alisha would. It also made for keeping appearances.

A Companion was a well respected addition to any interaction, business or pleasure.

The main merchant fleet was still enroute, but the initial survey scans would be deployed by Mara TibX and Mohc Extractives. If things went well, expansion with Browncoat Industries would be in the horizon.

"A peggat for your thoughts Mistah Shil?" there had been so much activity.  Their most recent project was that of the construction of the New Citadel Station.  It was progressing nicely, but a few items still had to be worked through.  The companies had gone back and forth on what would be good for defenses, and eventually settled on a standard shield.

The Sith Lady, Darth Venefica, stood on the bridge of her Wyyrlok-class Star Destroyer, Meshuga, staring at the planet of Ashera. She had never been to this planet and though she was here on business, she found herself slightly excited at the prospect of being here. She craved adventure. But not all adventure was combat based, oh no, the adventure she was here seeking was the reconstruction of the Sith Temple. She had found both delight and satisfaction in building things and she had a long list of structures built under her belt.

"We are set to begin transporting the requested materials to the planet's surface," Admiral Molr said taking up position next to her. "Your personal shuttle has been prepped and awaiting you in the warship's docking bay, my Lady."

"Well done, Admiral. Give the order to launch the transports," she replied then added, "And continue to monitor the sector for any inbound ships not bearing the authorization codes. Follow standard procedures, Admiral."

Darth Venefica turned over command of the warship to Admiral Molr and left the bridge. While she walked toward the docking bay she thought of the different plans that had been suggested for the reconstruction of the Sith Temple. There were two that she highly favoured and if nobody opposed her on this, she would move forward with one of the two designs.

His tail swished furiously back and forth.

“I am pondering the sample team.” Shil said quietly. “Apparently the minerals they have found here are quite...unique.”

That was putting it lightly. The sample team on Ashera had found that the minerals here had quite the unique interaction with certain metals. The process made the metals stronger, but also more flexible. Such a thing was very nearly unheard of and if further testing proved to hold the same truths it would mean quite the advancement in starship hulls.

“And you Miss...Well, I can't really call you Miss Saffron can I? Thats a bit ridiculous.” Arceneau? Was that what he was supposed to call her?

He actually had no idea and that perturbed the fluffy sapient.

OBJECTIVE: Suppress Lightside cults.

It was undeniable that her apprentice Sage Bane had grown in leaps and bounds since she'd 'found' him, for lack of a better word. What better way to test what he'd learned than the suppression of the lightside cults on Ashera? Sage had shown a particular aptitude for illusion, but so far they hadn't touched upon something even more powerful - sith magic would make his talent even more formidable, and more effective against so many opponents. She was interested to see how they would work together, as most of their time together had been spent in less orthodox teaching settings.

Reverance had allowed her the use of his ship, The Right Hand, and after a last look at the planet in the viewport as they dropped from hyperspace, Matsu turned to make her way towards the dropships that would take them down to the planet. Sage would know where to meet her, and she assumed anyone else who'd hopped a ride on the menacing vessel would be along shortly, at least if they knew what was good for them.

Objective: Suppress lightside cults

Sage Bane had done his homework. If you could call it that. Anxious to continue the upward trajectory of his Sith training with his Master, Matsu Xiangu, he had spent a few days on the planet before the arrival of the One Sith, researched the location of the Ashera lightside cults being targeted for removal. For days and nights, the Acolyte hid himself on a far off hill underneath the Ashera stars, with a pair of electrobinoculars, obsessively watching every move of the cult leaders and members. Masking his Force signature, he recorded every detail of their schedules as well as mapped out entrances and exits of many of their hidden temples, along with times that patrols changed duties. The Sith Acolyte was so ambitious, he did all of this work without even being asked.

Matsu was imminently descending in a dropship, and Sage had been sent the expected arrival time and location. The psychic bond with his Master was stronger than ever, so once the Sith sorceress was dirtside, he imagined that he would be able to sense her presence, unless she was deliberating hiding it from him, which she sometimes did. He was anticipating working closely with her on the mission, as he had not seen the Beast show her face in a while.

He was instructed to wait for her until a certain time, and if she did not arrive he was to move along without her, as there would be plenty of forces on their way.

In some cases it's hard to determine when one has seen too much war — or perhaps enough — but with Vrag the line was as clear as the neon signs on Nar Shaddaa pointing to gambling dens and brothels. Ah, brothels… well, we mustn't get distracted! War, yes, and related matters. Anyway, the Knight was quite certain that she'd seen her fill when she strolled to the dropship while engrossed in a game of Space Invaders without even touching a single obstacle on the way, leaning on the wall of the vessel as she steadily worked her way towards Reverance's high score.

She was going to beat him, one of these days, then gloat until the Lord topped her again. It was a rather quirky way to relieve stress that had started out as a joke, quickly devolving — or was that evolving? — into a competition between the two. What? Don't you dare judge, you little fether! You have no idea how long those journeys between Soon™ planets can get. The Right Hand can only provide so much entertainment.

The dropship she could find in her sleep finally took off, and with a sigh the Knight closed her game, blue eyes locking with those of the soldiers under her command. For the first time since Manaan, the woman was going to be ordering Vong around — a prospect that made her more excited than worried, but that's mass murderers for you — and with her new armor adorning her body, Vrag was nearly unrecognizable. Gone was the trademark black durasteel and the Itimidate +10 visor, replaced by something that was arguably even scarier.

Still, nothing is truly tested until christened in blood and gore of your massacred enemies — it says so right here, in this book of rules — which is why the armored Knight had brought a knife along this time.

Truth be told, Vrag couldn't even remember the last time she'd spilled blood instead of scorched it, and that was truly a shame. Ought to be rectified immediately, no?

The large hulking frame of a Ziost Carrier of the Imperial Inquisition exited the photonic warp of hyperspace. It's lengthy frame and bulbing disc center veered towards the outer orbits of Ashera. The Imperial Inquisition had been dispatched to assist in the moderate removal of lightside forces and the reconstruction of a Sith Temple. Aboard the Ziost Carrier Crusader's Wrath, Darth Hauntruss watched the world's appearance grow in color an detail.

A staff lieutenant approached from behind. "My lady, the Stormtrooper Legions and their Commanders are prepared for planetary deployment." Hauntruss nodded and motioned with a gesture to come closer. With soft steps the lieutenant approached. "Inform Legion Commanders Tmoxin Temi and Triampheus that they shall deploy ahead of me and my legion. They are to set up a base of operations and come into contact with any Sith Lords that are already gravity-side.I shall debrief them once we have all landed." The lieutenant nodded and made an about-face turn to begin his commands. Hauntruss then continued her glance, her black gloves rose up to meet her chin.

There was much work to be done. Finishing her contemplations she turned to ready herself and her deathguard legion.

Irani was his business persona these days, it was more interesting this way, at least interesting in the manner that people didn’t magically just knew that he was a Sith Lord in his own right. Funny how such things worked in the grand scheme of things, not that he really let it bother himself, he was far too busy admiring the handiwork of BlasTech currently proudly displayed in his hands.

It was once again the BTI-HBC he had used to such a great effect on the fields of Eriadu, the same cannon that had been used to shred tanks and walls and whatever the hell decided to stand between him and the goal he had set to himself. Some of the soldiers around him snuck little peeks at it every once in a while, appreciative whistles and others notions of approval came.

They call it the Ravager.’ the Businessman said to no one in particular, simply bloviating words to stroke the weapon’s ego up a little bit more. ‘Effective range, a kilometre in heavy cannon mode, almost cut in half for your regular blaster needs.’

He checked the sights, the ammo in the beast and bloviated some more.

Weighs about fifteen kilos without the extra backpack. But most important of all… you get two shots, each shot holds enough force to utterly eviscerate anything that decides to pop up before ya.’

Irani sniffed a little, spotting the voluptuous and intriguing horny form of a certain Sith he had made his acquaintances with a few weeks ago, it seemed that things were about to get even more interesting.

Ladies, I have found myself a date. See ya on the battlefield.’

When he was gone one of the soldiers scratched his head and wondered out loud.

Who the hell was that guy?

Objective: Restore the Sith Temple
Darth Venefica

Cyrus had come to Ashera after acquiring the necessary provisions to complete his assigned objective: restoring the temple of the Sith.

Aboard a lone Sadow-class star destroyer, flanked by 4 Alchemist-class frigates, Cyrus stood at the deck, eyeing the planet before the fleet hailing from Panatha. These vessels cargo was nearly full. What were they carrying? Z3 labor droids out the ass. It would be sufficient enough to complete the reconstruction in a decent amount of time.

"I want the dropships prepared for departure from the hangars by the time I'm aboard my starfighter." Cyrus had ordered his adjutant.

She looked to her prince and nodded.

With that, Cyrus turned and proceeded through the door leading into the main hall. His adjutant, as usual, was hot on his heels.

Heavy, intent-laden boots landed in the dirt of Ashera, and the woman rolled her eyes at the pun that came to mind. Her gaze swept over the horizon, noting the city some kilometers away, and then she turned to face her forces. Many, many forces.

Vrag grinned.

Silently, she tried and failed to count the warriors spilling out of the constantly landing Yorik-Trema, but the sight brought about a giddiness she didn't think she could feel anymore. Well, life still held some surprises in store for her, it seemed. The crabs upon her body reflected her own bubbly — dear Force, to be associated with that word! — disposition, shifting excitedly like bloodhounds at the sniff of wounded prey. It seemed that every Vong creature in existence knew when the scent of war was in the air, a quality she greatly enjoyed about them.

The other aspect of the Vong that the Knight would appreciate on a regular basis was their eagerness to wage said war; not an ounce of fear or hesitation radiated from the writhing mass of anger and aggression, and it would surely feel suffocating if she weren't so at home in that particular cocktail of emotion. The only characteristic she couldn't readily accept was their recklessness on the battlefield, but that was something seemingly inherent in the species. Oh, well. Can't have it all.

With a sage nod the Hand turned her back to the warriors of Yun'Yuuzhan, absently caressing the hilt of her lightsaber as she pondered how to go about the annihilation of the upstart cults on the planet. Heh. Cults. Her experience with cultists and worshipers of all sorts was quite extensive by now, and Vrag didn't particularly care for expanding it further. Still, they bled like anything else, and that thought gave her some satisfaction.

Before she could mull the matter further a rather familiar signature made a blip on her Force radar, and the monster reared its head.

"Irani." A statement, rather than a question. There was no missing the cannon in his arms, nor forgetting the damage it could dish out. A valuable asset in the upcoming conflict. "What a pleasant surprise," she quipped, a hint of warmth sneaking into her voice.

"Vanguard, move," she spoke into her oggzil, transmitting her message to all the forces under her command, not just the Vong. "Surround the enemy encampment from all sides." It would do for now, and Vrag was a patient woman.

Objective: Establish One Sith Dominance.

To tame any sort of animal, one had to show dominance. Show that they were the master, and the beast but a servant. Most animals, smart or dumb, respected dominance to never again show opposition for them. And yet, it seemed humanoids, those who were suppose to be smarter, weren't. They bucked and kicked when ever they could resenting any who try to show dominance. Here on Ashera it was no different. These lightside cults overthrew the One Sith government, but they would have had to of been backed by someone.

Or a group of someones. The Asherians, the near humanoid species and native of the planet, supported the actions of these cults, and in turn found themselves enemies of the One Sith. And by extension, marks of the Sith Assassins. On the word of the Red Assassin, leader of this group of individuals, they would descend to the world with one goal. To kill the current king of the Asherians.

Aboard a Falcon, the simple One Sith dropship, stood this red man with both arms clasped behind his back. The pilot, a simple man, was not spoken to, nor did he speak. He knew the nature of the mission, and while the Assassins would look like any other battalion of the One Sith, they were something far more. With the Zabrak stood several others of this group, all dressed in what would be the normal infantry armor of the Sith, all trained killers. For now, their goal was to gain audience with the high king himself. Rather than burn down the entire capital filled with potential slaves and test subjects, Darth Ferus wanted to showcase not only the Assassins skill, but the wonders of killing the head of a snake rather than burning the entire body.

Objective: Oppress Lightside cults; prepare to drive some cult members insane, start this party.
Sage Bane | Vrag | Darell Irani | Darth Hauntruss

The trip planetside in a the dropship from The Right Hand was exactly like every other, a journey she was more than accustomed to making at this point. Yes, even despite not coming close to approaching the record Reverance & Vrag competed for, as she was sure she’d be reminded of. Stepping out on to the planet she surveyed the Vong pouring from the Yorik-Trema, an eager, roiling wave of a species she’d only recently gained even more of an appreciation for. Walking among them was a stranger at first glance, a figure in armor with horns and a skull that almost made Matsu stop in her tracks to admire. The armor itself stopped her attempts to discern who it was with the Force, but she was familiar enough with the way the stranger moved – not to mention how tall she was – to realize it was Vrag. It was something demonic, the Baphomet among its legions, predatory and cunning. She’d want a much closer look at that nice new suit later.

She’d known he would be there before she actually saw him, her connection to Sage even stronger than most of her apprentices considering his aptitude for the mind. She was all business that morning, stopping next to him and looking out over the quickly forming battlelines. “You’ve done well, coming ahead of the lines. Depending on what you’ve gathered your information will prove invaluable to hastening our victory,” she said, a hint of satisfaction in her tone. But no pride yet. She was prepared to offer him that sin, but only if he passed today. “I’m not sure if you’ve gotten the chance to see Vong at work, but they’re very effective. Once loosed on these cults under Vrag’s direction they will lay waste, but we can make their work even easier.” She turned to her apprentice then, her expression far less open than the one she usually adopted around him. “Together we can build an illusion to send in to their encampments. We can drive them mad, stop them from gathering adequate defense against our troops. Find me in the Force, and we’ll know each other’s thoughts.”

The look she gave him then promised him something. She was offering a direct connection, a space for them to build together and know each other’s next move before it happened. Either could sever the connection at any moment, but this was something she’d never allowed anyone but Kesare. If he overstepped and tried to get further inside her mind than the space they shared, she would tear his apart. She would strip him of every shred of sanity, observe him for as long as was entertaining, and then pull his brain from his skull while he still lived. It didn’t have to be said, but with that warning between them she opened her mind to him, reaching out with the Force to touch his and invite him to create with her.

Tmoxin sat patiently in her private officer's quarters of the Crusader's Wrath. She awaited orders from an Imperial Inquisition superior on her Ashera assignment. And aside from the requisite paper work and physicals she'd been subjected to prior to entry into any large military-industrial-complex like the One Sith, this would be her first real test as a Commander since she had been recruited.

It had been mere days since she had given notice to the Red Ravens and now she was headed to battle with an undeveloped group of mercenaries, hired hands and colleagues from her days in the Hapan Royal Guard. And while anxiety wasn't quite in her DNA, she couldn't help but feel a little intimidated by the prospect of leading such an inexperienced group of soldiers. Individually they were all enormously talented but they did not have the seasoning needed for them to move together like a seamless unit. That would only come with time and training.

Tmoxin's troop was small - twelve in all - but she planned to grow her Legion as experience allowed. Her corps were in another part of the ship, most likely the cadet quarters. The Hapan officer's mind wandered to a few nights ago where she was playing high-stakes sabacc in a Nar Shaddaa casino. And now here she was staring at the walls of a coffin-sized room, grey and unadorned with only the hum of the ship as background noise. Had she made the right choice by accepting the offer as Legion Commander?

Her thoughts were interrupted by a commlink which came from a small console in her quarters: "Commander Temi, ready your troops to deploy." Tmoxin acknowledged the instructions and stood. She wore a simple slate-colored uniform, reminiscent of an earlier Imperial design. She walked confidently from her quarters to the where her cadets were also suiting up to land.

Objective: Suppress lightside cults with Tmoxin Temi Matsu Xiangu Vrag Darell Irani Darth Hauntruss

Sith armies began to amass on the swatch of land adjacent to the cultists’ temples. Sage knew their formation meant Matsu would soon be joining him. As she made her way to the battle lines, his eyes glinted with warmth, and he gave her a cordial bow. She bestowed on him a rare taste of encouragement, a delicacy to a starving man. His Master never sang a chorus of glowing praises for Sage. He assumed it was deliberate on her part. For a vain and narcissitic creature such as Sage, no amount of praise could be basked in to its fullest. It paid bigger dividends to starve him for accolades and to dangle them just out of his reach.

When Matsu mentioned the Vong, Sage shook his head. The Sith Acolyte had not yet been exposed to the barbarism of the Yuzhaan Vong first-hand. He knew his brother’s stories well, brutal tales of capture and torture at their hands, memories that bred his sibling’s incurable phobia of the creatures.

When Matsu spoke of the illusions they would create together, Sage couldn’t hide the tinge of surprise on his face. Sure, they had grown closer in the last few months, but he had never been allowed more than a shallow peek into the Beast’s lair. No words needed to be spoken. He simply acknowledged her warning with a look of his own. He would not overstep his bounds. He knew the potential consequences for runaway curiosity. What’s behind door number three? She could leave him a drooling, trepanned lunatic. Sage would not go anywhere she didn’t want him to be.

With that unspoken bond of trust, they entered each other's minds as two creators sharing a freshly primed canvas.

"Saffron is just fine,"  came the Companion's amused reply, a slight twinkle of mischief dancing in her hazel eyes.  There was no need for last names.  Rarely did a Companion take one.  While some may call her the adopted daughter of Danger Arceneau,  she held no real legal right to the surname, and that was right by her.

Just like Ashiin,  Danger gave them full rights to do what they will with their lives. They were tie to no one, with no expectations on what they were supposed to be.  It was a free charting of their lives and the only one piloting that was Saffron and Saffron alone. Another step would bring the Companion closer to the Selonian,  her curious gaze observing the incoming data.

"What sort of minerals?"  she would ask. Oh there would be more reports coming in from Mara TibX and Mohc,  but she was curious what details they had so far.

A small beep of her datapad and Saffron would review the details.  More update on the Citadel station.  Haven shipyards along with Titan were to have smaller shipyards there.  No more than 500 meters or so. From what she knew, it was where Titan produced the Maladi Class frigate.

The tail would swish back and forth again.

“A new cyrstaline structure.” Shil explained quietly, noticing that on one of the passes of his tail it passed against Saffron.

Was the woman moving closer?

It seemed like she was but he couldn't be sure. A frown passed over his furry face, though due to the contour of his face it was actually rather difficult to tell that he was in fact frowning, rather it just made his cheeks look slightly more puffy.

“The researchers theorize that its structure allows it to hold a unique place within most metals.” He continued on, not quite sure how much of this she would understand. He knew that the Companions were well educated, but he hardly doubted they were very well studied in geology and metal working. “It would make the metals stronger.”

He summarized as his tail swished again.

We are the Rulers of this Galaxy.

Darth Acarus thought to himself as he looked out of the dropship as it descended towards the designated location for the reconstruction of the Sith Temple. Acarus had been present at Coruscant, when the Valley of the Dark Lords had been created. A mere Apprentice then, but now, he was an experienced Sith Knight, although one that had become inactive in recent times. With all that had happened in recent times in the higher echelons, the Pureblood was unsure as to how to continue.

His ship was one of the first transports that had arrived and landed in the area. Already he was able to see construction droids and engineers moving around and distributing material around the perimeter.

Looking to one of the nearby Sith troopers that had just arrived with the incoming military units he said, "establish a perimeter immediately. Ashlan supporters may interrupt our construction." A rough voice issued the command, and the Yuuzhan Vong armoured Sith Knight turned away and awaited the arrival of Darth Venefica.

In the past the Sith Knight put up the facade of a Sith that was more submissive. And so he'd play that part again, and learn what the One Sith has come to.

Objective: Suppress Lightside cults; drive them insane, maybe make some kill each other before the Vong finish things spectacularly.

He seemed to find her with ease, their link settling within seconds. The space they sat in wasn’t so much a blank white space as a place outside themselves, a view just above their heads spanning the battlefield. From here every consciousness unguarded by force-dead armor or some other barrier was theirs for the taking. She paused to let him get his bearings – she knew well how chaotic so many minds could be at once.

She took the first step, tapping in to her magic to start them off. This was illusion as she’d never shown him, powered by a pure connection to the dark side – these could fool even the strongest among them, could confuse even a computer in to believing what was conjured was actually there. Touching so many minds at once would require the strength of the two of them working together. What she would give him today was a taste of who he might become should he prove strong enough. He’d already shown he could control minds and force unrealities on another’s consciousness – now she would offer him true power.

In the space between them she started dreaming. Using their connection, she pulled an image of a typical cultist from within Sage’s mind after his hours of surveillance. She drew, figures blurry at first though eventually coalescing in to men and women identical to anyone else who might walking around within the cultists’ camp walls. She released it, the sudden buzzing of panic in the back of her head confirmation of their illusion taking hold within the camp. Within the camp’s walls, the same men and women she conjured would stumble, crawl on hands and knees, burnt so deeply it was a wonder they moved at all. Skin sloughed off in sheets, a putrid smell enough to alarm even without the agonized sound of their screaming. Matsu pumped fear, panic, confusion in healthy doses along with the visual, pressing their illusion out over the encampment.

Go ahead. Join me.

Allies: Sage Bane | Matsu Xiangu | Darth Hauntruss | Vrag

'Quite so, miss Vrag.' the nonchalant and relaxed attitude did not jive with the common bluster of the battlefield. He should have been weary, concerned about his wellbeing or generally be a bit anxious. Instead his posture confided confidence, even without armor or a vanguard of bodyguards surrounding him.

Irani took a good wide look at Vrag, the expression suggested bemusement and perhaps something... more. 'A very interesting suit. Horny, comes to mind.'

He was clearly not talking about the horns on her head, in the end Irani's gaze left her and swept around the field of battle, warriors of all kind assembling to start a cleansing once again. The businessman in him thought it a waste, the Sith... understood the necessities of acts of extremities sometimes.
