Bunk space for padawans shares a bulkhead with the medical bay staffed by a surgical droid and hydroponics lab whose primary purpose is education yet can supplement rations in a crisis. Racks for speeders take up most of the cargo hold although they can be removed to load emergency supplies for relief missions.
In combat the academic cruiser holds its own against most strike craft fast enough to catch it. Lacking heavy firepower in favor of manual defense turrets and maneuverable ion drives. Its primary role isn't warfare although in a dangerous galaxy the Order has taken every measure to ensure the mobile training platform's shields are well powered.
