Intent: Advanced mobile armor suit to provide extreme maneuverability and terrain advantage while enhancing ones own targeting, and accuracy. Provides other benefits as noted in product description.

Development Thread: If Necessary
Manufacturer: Tyven Heavy Industries
Model: THI Revenant Class A
Affiliation: The Galactic Republic
Modularity: No
Production: Mass Produced

Material: Combination of Duralium & Lanthanide used to construct the armor's shell, reinforced with Plexoid at all joint locations, including front and back of wearer's center of mass. Plexalloy is the main component in the helmet's visor.
Classification: Multi-purpose
Weight: 18.5kg
Quality: 6

Special Features:
  • Oxygen respirator (Manually activated)
  • HUD displays current atmospheric conditions (weather), target distance and rate of speed, identification of weaponry based on known major/minor production, as well as hands free communications, and night/infrared vision modes.
  • Side Thrusters to allow the wearer to perform rapid side-to-side maneuvers. Prolonged firing of the thrusters has a maximum expenditure of three minutes.
  • Back Thrusters to allow the wearer to leap, hover, or fly for a period of time equal to or less than three minutes of consecutive use.
  • Armor is resistant to small caliber firearms including bullets and blaster fire, swords, shrapnel, and can withstand indirect explosions from small detonations such as grenades.
  • Varying internal temperature control to keep the wearer cool in hot environments, and warm in cold environments.
  • Watertight to a depth of 200m

Description: The THI Revenant Class A is a lightweight, durable, and mobile suit of armor designed to give the wearer the best tactical advantage possible in a variety of environments. The armor is made a of a lightweight, durable metal alloy utilizing a combination of Duralium and Lanthanide, and reinforced with plexoid at all pivotal joint locations: feet, knees, waist, elbows, shoulders, and neck. The visor is made using Plexalloy to ensure that the wearer's face is well protected and that the HUD within remains undamaged during combat. Though lightweight, the combination of materials grants it the benefit of being resistant to small caliber and certain melee weapons, exceptions of course being weapons of the lightsaber and vibroblade variety.

The armor is capable of taking an indirect explosion from small detonations of grenades or improvised rockets at a distance of 3m or more. Direct hits closer than 3m may or may not compromise the entirety of the armor, depending on location and exact distance from blast. The armor is fitted to be watertight up to a maximum safe depth of 200m. The armor has not been vigorously tested at or past this point, and THI advises extreme caution whenever entering depths below which the individual can safely swim on their own. Some tests have shown that in high pressure environments, the alloy used in construction can begin to flex. If enough pressure is applied the watertight seal will be broken causing immediate catastrophic failure of the armor and its electronics.

The HUD contains the vast majority of the armor's technology, allowing the wearer to control the internal temperature to ensure they remain comfortable, as well as a atmospheric weather display, target acquisition, distance, and speed display, and an ID system that runs a check on known minor and mass produced weapons. There is an oxygen system built into the armor which is controlled using the visor's HUD. It can be activated, deactivated, or modulated to increase or decrease the amount of pumped O2. The HUD also provides the wearer the option of changing vision modes to accomodate both night and infrared vision. The HUD requires a single, advanced power cell which will run consecutively for 12 hours before requiring recharge.

Finally the side and back thrusters are made to accomodate rapid side to side movements meant to avoid explosives, or falling objects, whereas the back thrusters are made to give the wearer lift. These two may be used in tangent to allow up to three minutes of consecutive flight time, however the power cells must be replaced after expenditure, and cannot be done while wearing the armor.

Note: Both power cells for the thrusters and the HUD are located in the back plating of the armor. To access the power cells, you must enter an electronic PIN on the panel to release the compartment, making it impossible for the wearer to swap/recharge these without removing the armor.

I will amend my post to reflect as well.
