Zakan is an adult male Togruta with light blue skin and head tails. Zakan stands at an above average height of almost six feet (not including montrals) with a lean body type. He has two montrals that grow backwards like horns, and three waist length heads tails. His head tails contain a blue tiger stripe like pattern which goes all the way down the white length of them, and end in pure blue tips. Zakan has reddish orange eyes that gaze out behind the white facial pigment that covers his entire forehead. He also has three additional white pigments on his chin and cheeks. Zakan is fond of wearing clothes in varying shades of dull browns and will rarely be seen with full shoes on. Instead, planet floor permitting, he will wrap his feet in sturdy cloth or wear some sort of wooden sandal. Zakan chooses to have bare feet in order to stay more in tune with nature and the force beneath him. Like many Jedi, Zakan is also fond of wearing oversized dark cloaks which he will put on in order to look more mysterious.
Zakan wields one lightsaber. His lightsaber is without easily noticeable decoration, and features a plain brown hilt, metal accents, and a green crystal. If one were to look closely at the hilt, they would see small engravings in the language of his people around the metal parts. They offer words of wisdom and strength.

Strengths and Weaknesses
(+) Well Balanced
Zakan’s most impressive trait, is how well balanced he is both in terms of mental and physical abilities. This reflects in his class, Jedi sentinel, which focuses on training both force and lightsaber abilities equally, and on his preferred lightsaber form for the same reasons. He works very well in teams because he can fit any role that is needed, and has the high skillset to perform it seamlessly. His well balanced nature allows him to react to any situation because he has such a wide variety of skills at his disposal.
(+) Memory
He has high intelligence and a knack for observational and critical thinking. Hence why he is well suited for a Jedi investigator role. He has an excellent memory and has a knack for finding the common link that connects seemingly unrelated clues. As he has gained experience as an investigator, he has learned how to read other people well in order to read between the lines or tell if they are lying to him.
(+) Togruta
His Togruta heritage compliments his skill set well. Togruta have the ability to sense the proximity and movement of physical objects around them by means of their hollow montrals, which detected space ultrasonically. This ability just lends itself into Zakan’s force sensitivity, allowing him to have a high perception of what’s going on around him. Togruta, also excel at teamwork and the ability to associate with different cultures, which Zakan is no exception to.
(+) Force Sensitive
Zakan walks very firmly on the path of Light. He has a good heart and is drawn to helping others. Zakan was discovered to be incredibly force sensitive as a child. His mastery of the force is what he considers to be his strongest trait as a Jedi. He is extremely talented and wields the force with the capability of a much older Jedi Master. He is trained in many different force abilities, and can use them well.
(-) Attachment
Zakan often finds himself creating strong bonds with other people. He is empathetic and believes that the order stands to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Therefore, he finds it easy to form connections with others and often struggles with the Jedi’s code about attachment. He does however, believe strongly in the Jedi Order so it seems unlikely that he would fall to the dark side because of any attachment. But, he follows his heart which has both helped and hindered him in the past.
(-) Rash
Prone to making rash decisions. Zakan is more of a doer than a thinker. and cannot stand by while others suffer. Despite his high intellect, Zakan isn’t the type to sit around and think when lives are on the line. His rash tendency has been tempered a bit with age and experience but will still always be the first to leap to someone's aid without thinking about the consequences.
(-) Team Player:
While being a jack of all trades is better than being a master of one, Zakan works the best when he can mold himself into the gaps of a team. He is great at covering for others weaknesses, but on his own he could not be called the best at any one thing. He does not have a stand out ability, meaning that if he did meet an enemy who was a true master at lightsaber combat or force abilities, he would likely be outmatched in terms of skill.

Kiros
Zakan was born on the planet Kiros to his parents Kahsaa and Rorhys Dan. He doesn’t have very many memories of his early life but he knows that he was happy. His parents were kind and supportive, both artisans by trade, they lived lives of nonviolence. Already it was obvious from an early age that Zakan was highly force sensitive, he was often found levitating toys or objects around him or displaying unusually high foresight for a child. This worried his parents but, in an effort to give the best life that they could give to their son, they gave him over to the Jedi Order.
Taken to the temple
After a tearful goodbye, Zakan was taken to the temple to begin training as a Jedi youngling. He was only around 7 years old at the time. He excelled among his young peers all the way up until he was around thirteen years of age. Zakan was a bit of a reckless youngling but his force signature showed strongly.
Trained as a Padawan
Having passed the initial trials and impressing many of instructors, Zakan was certain that he would be chosen as a padawan quickly. Unfortunately, he was wrong. It seemed no master wanted to deal with his blatant overconfidence the first time around and he was disregarded for selection for almost a year. Zakan’s confidence took a hit from the situation, which was probably the best thing that could have ever happened to him. He simmered down a little and stopped displaying some of his signature selfish and brash actions in training. Eventually, he caught the attention of a Master. (Left open for RP purposes)
Knighthood
At 19, Zakan flew through the trials and was made a proper knight after following the wise teachings of his master for many years. He was eternally grateful and bonded to his master, and strove to continue to make them proud as a knight. Zakan was quickly assigned on missions by the council and was rarely seen around the temple for many years. He travelled a lot, going from world to world to do reconnaissance missions. Somehow he ended up as a sort of Jedi detective, someone who was sent to investigate and solve uncommon problems. To Zakan, this was unintentional, but he suspects that this path was always what the council had expected of him and was probably unavoidable.
By the age of 25, Zakan was beginning to be pressured to train a Padawan, to which he has refused each time. Zakan may be kind, but he is traditionally a loner for a reason. He always though that he worked best with himself, and would rather not endanger others when dealing with certain dangers he often faces. Zakan has brought this point up to the council, politely of course, and it has seemed to stall them for some time. As he's gotten older, his mind has slowly started to change. Once he had matured and grown a little more, he has become less turned off by the idea of having a padawan. He still secretly harbors some doubts but is willing to take up the challenge.
