Dominion Ambitious Minds | GA Dominion of Gholondreine-β Hex

ZgIpKsp.jpeg
AMBITIOUS MINDS
A planet of Scholars and Philosophers; the residents of Gholondreine-β have long since taught that all sentient beings held their highest loyalty to truth, rather than an individual, creed, or ideal regardless of the temporal consequences. It was this loyalty to truth that resulted in Palpatine ordering the destruction of the planet, siphoning its water for Coruscant, leaving the inhabitants in the desert before seeding the planet with machines that would exude biotoxins into the soil. When the inhabitants fled to other neighboring systems, all that remained were the ghosts of knowledge as the truth was eroded.
In the Centuries that followed, the populace slowly trickled back, and by the time the Confederacy of Independent Systems arrived, the city of Nocturna had grown into a bustling metropolis from its humble beginnings as a patch of dirt reclaimed by the ambitious. Now, it is the Galactic Alliance's turn to lift the planet, and that focus has been on the return of knowledge and the re-establishment of truth.

BQZqoRN.png

OBJECTIVE I - FORGOTTEN TRUTHS
The truth wasn't the only thing that suffered when the Empire sought to destroy the planet and prevent it from ever being inhabited once more. Among the dunes and shifting sands in those regions still unclaimed lay thousands of tomes and hidden caches of knowledge. Seek out the ruins of the old cities, and attempt to reclaim the knowledge that was lost centuries ago.
e7JaRE6.jpeg

OBJECTIVE II - GARDEN IN THE DUNES
While Palpatine had ordered the water siphoned from the planet, there has been an attempt at returning the planet to its previous grandeur. A group of Botanist and ambitious Colonist have managed to return a bit of green and blue to the planet. Take a moment to admire the inland sea, help the locals harvest their crops, or even do nothing more than relax in a small paradise surrounded by sand.
Rt7ZnVk.png

OBJECTIVE III - SHOCK AND AWE
The Empire cracked down on it, the New Republic outlawed it, and yet the sport continues to draw crowds, supporters, and new racers. Many worry how the Galactic Alliance may respond; until then, Pod Racers have gathered at the Salt Barrens, a dried lake bed, for what could be the final running of the Bonneville Classic. Join as a last-minute entrant or watch the race and even bet on a racer, who knows, you might win a credit or two.
izeKvci.png

BYOO
There is plenty of Gholondreine-β to explore and rediscover as the shifting dunes uncover forgotten ruins and derelict remnants of the once vibrant past of the planet. Take a stroll through the seedy dens of the City of Nocturna, or find another purpose for being drawn to this planet.
tmiiNVx.png

The Bonneville course is a set route of 6 legs. 1 Post = 1 Leg
For each Post, roll a 6-Sided Die, including proof of your roll in your post.
  • Roll a 1 - Setback: You experience a detrimental event of your choosing [-1 to next roll]
  • Roll a 2, 4, or 5 - Neutral: You advance in the race with no negative or positive modifiers
  • Roll a 3 - Special Event: You may Sabotage another racer [-1 to their next roll] or you may Protect yourself from another racer [Negates a Sabotage used against you]
  • Roll a 6 - Success: You experience a beneficial event of your choosing [+1 to next roll]
At the end of the Race, the Highest Total Score Wins the Bonneville Classic
  • Highest Total Score = 36 Points
  • Lowest Total Score = 6 Points
In the event of a Tie between Racers, the tied Racers will participate in the Bonneville Drinking Contest, with the last participant standing winning the Bonneville Classic Title. [Individuals under the legal drinking age of their species are immediately disqualified]

As the Neimoidian Queen settled into the luxurious viewing box, she felt a sense of anticipation and excitement building within her.

The rumbling of the engines and the cheers of the crowd below filled the air with excitement, and she couldn't help but smile as she prepared to witness one of the most thrilling events in the galaxy - a pod race on Gholondreine-β.

She had always been fascinated with the plebian sport, finding it quite exhilarating. The speed, the skill, the risk - it all combined to create a spectacle that would captivate the audience similiar to a pocket full of credits, and today was no exception.

The track stretched out before her, twisting and turning through the terrain and she could feel the tension mounting as the racers revealed themselves and revved their engines.

As they got to the starting line, Bummuy's heart began to race in time with the engines. She watched with bated breath as they were almost ready to take off. Adjusting her reading glasses and making sure that her wig didn't fall off from the intense rush of wind.

"You simply must come see, this Drabnald." She said to the attendent nearby, glancing over to the Neimoidian attendant and the Neimoidian Royal Guard who stood nearby to protect her. "Yes, Your Majesty." The attendant said, with a sigh.

"It always surprises me, what the galaxy's lower classes can do." She said, clutching the end of the seat.

Objective III - Shock & Awe

The gnawing sense that she had taken a wrong turn somewhere along the winding corridors only intensified as Zillora awkwardly navigated through the sandy hallways. The Kaminoan felt distinctly out of place amidst the unfamiliar surroundings, her comfort zone confined to the sterile hallways of Kamino and the familiar paths of the Jedi Temple, from which she had been absent for quite some time. Despite being recently inducted into the Jedi Order as a Padawan, she had yet to be apprenticed to a master.

After what felt like an eternity of navigating the cramped passages, Zillora finally emerged into a wide-open room where she could stand fully upright, though not without a muttered curse at the claustrophobic nature of the corridors she had just traversed. However, any relief she felt was short-lived as she realized that this wasn't the viewing stands she had been seeking. The prospect of witnessing pod-racing was intriguing, but the thought of being in close proximity to the thundering vehicles was, to put it mildly, rather unnerving.

With no one else in sight, Zillora cautiously approached one of the parked pod-racers, her curiosity piqued by its intricate design. "They certainly seem less intimidating when they're not hurtling through the air," she remarked to herself, studying the vehicle with a mixture of fascination and trepidation.

Danger strode up towards the top of a dune, a bio-filtering mask covering her mouth and nostrils, the black fabric of her shawl fluttered softly in the crystalline red swirl of sand as she surveyed the barren desert swirling with biotoxins. Pharmatech was researching methods of combating the biotoxins found in the soil. Centuries ago, Emperor Palpatine ordered the planet's seas totally drained and the water taken to Coruscant. The dying desert world was then seeded with Ithorian crawlers that would exude biotoxins into the soil and abandoned as the inhabitants fled to nearby systems.

While there were areas of reconstruction and rejuvenation in the world, plenty of swaths of desert space still needed to be detoxified. It was as good as any for MaraTibx to test out their advanced soil detoxifying generators and filtration systems. It would take years to detoxify what was needed properly, but the job would allow more towns and villages to spread so that locals or refugees could find a new place to call home.

Danger wanted to take the time to study and see what else could be done. Trade was beginning to tighten around Alliance space due to the ongoing war with the Dark Empire. That meant resources were directed more toward defense than inwardly toward the average galactic citizen. Many were already concerned about the supplies they needed to make a living and provide for their families.

Danger wanted to provide options, especially if they could work alongside PharmaTech's Biodomes to utilize and harvest daylight and wind energy for power. Harvesting energy would allow a method of powering local resources and farms that could sustain harvestable food products for purchase. That would not only keep the cost down for locals but ensure fresh food was available.

For now, the redhead would appear akin to any MaraTibx employee. She wore a comfortable flight-suit and lacked accessories identifying her as the Queen of Trade.

Monitoring the situation, she continued to walk around the perimeter, taking stock at how similar and different this world was to her home planet of Tatooine.

Amid an Alliance operation, there had been orders to find the lost truths of what had once been before. It wasn't the ruins themselves that were important, but the items that lay inside that cast curious Jedi eyes to their secrets. Silas, who had experience in exploring forgotten ruins had been tasked with locating a forgotten Jedi temple that had been lying underneath the sands way before Palpatine had its grasp on the planet. Only recently had a key, as well as information on its whereabouts been uncovered from the archives.

Zooming through the desert sands, the knight, joined by a smaller passenger on the back were making quick progress towards their destination. Silas had not been with Cailen for an assignment for a long time, let alone talk. Both of them had been quite busy as of late with their own personal missions, but today was an exception to that. After hearing that his Psudo little bro was taking part, he didn't hesitate in requesting for him to join his assignment.

Upon coming over one last dune on their speeder, Silas came to a halt to which looked like a sloping hole. Turning off the engine, he finally hopped off and lifted up his goggles that had done well to defend against the unforgiving sands. Smirking, he'd finally move over to cheekily ruffle Cailens hair.

"Hopefully my driving wasn't too bad, I'm certain I heard a few mumbles and sighs back there"

I’ve seen worse!” the Padawan teased with a smirk, but he really didn’t mind. Silas Westgard Silas Westgard was the closest thing Cailen had to a brother, and considering how long it’d been since they were on assignment together, he’d have taken a bumpy ride a dozen times over to be here.

Plus, there was the exciting bonus of discovering lost knowledge. Cailen wasn’t a bookish learner, preferring missions in the field or evenings in the workshop to long study sessions, but his brief time on Dagobah had instilled a respect for the fragility of information. “This is really cool,” Cailen marveled as he reached for his holobinoculars and scanned the dunes. “I wonder what’s underneath it all…

He looked earnestly through the magnified lenses, following the peaks and valleys of sand until something caught his eye; a pointed rod of some kind stood up from the desert. It looked structural, not like a branch or something natural. Cailen pointed to it, passing the binoculars to Silas.

See that?” he asked. “Could be worth checking out!” It was hard to imagine ruins being anything but ancient stone structures, but he supposed that anything left behind for centuries could count.

This was something special.

Not only was she going to enjoy the thrill of a race, but she was sharing the moment with her son and her best friend. From within her racer, Valery looked at the two of them and grinned. They were both just as competitive as she was and equally interested in anything that moved faster than what was usually deemed safe. It was going to make this race intense, and whoever won, would have bragging rights for at least a week.

Until the next bit of competition.

<You two ready to eat dust?> Valery asked with a shit-eating grin. It was dangerous to talk chit before the start of the race, but she wanted to have them all on edge.

She needed them to give their all.

Valery turned her gaze to the countdown and kept her hands on the throttle. It began to tick and time slowed down for the Jedi Master. As soon as they had green light, she accelerated and blasted off for the first leg of the race. No matter what, she wasn't going to allow herself to lose.

The wind tousled the coal-coloured locks of hair as sunlight gleamed off the rose-tinted glasses perched snugly on his pale face, accentuating the signature smile that alternated between genuine warmth and mischievous amusement. Carlo hadn't planned on participating in the racing event, but it beat the monotony of being shadowed by the security detail his house had unilaterally assigned to him—the so-called "Azura Sentinels," a title that grated on him like coarse sandpaper.

But dwelling on that was futile now; the focus was on the task at hand. Shifting uncomfortably in the racer's seat, Carlo found himself facing the wrong direction, an unexpected predicament that puzzled him. "How did I end up in reverse?" he muttered incredulously, his amusement tinged with a hint of frustration.

Zooming out, the cause of his reversal became evident. Whether due to his lack of experience behind the wheel or sheer dumb luck, Carlo had somehow managed to engage reverse gear at the start of the race, hurtling backwards along the track in a dizzying blur of motion.

This was going to be fun!

Vera walked ahead of the two Jedi Masters with a little skip in her step. Unlike most of her family, she wasn't really a Jedi Guardian or a fighter. She wanted to become a Jedi Seer — a Consular — and learn more about the Galaxy. Now, she had not one, but two other Jedi Masters with similar focus bringing her along on a journey of exploration. Together, they'd discover the mysteries of the dunes and find something remarkable!

She just knew it!

"When you can't see where you need to dig or look, how do you know where to start?" Vera asked curiously, as she turned around and walked backwards while she looked at them.

"Do we let the Force guide us? Do we just start digging somewhere and try?"

It was difficult to recall the last time she’d done anything for the sake of leisurely fun, long enough, that before Briana thought to slip into the seat of her narrow, half-cylinder pod, she mentally and physically began to prepare herself as if she were heading into battle, rather than a friendly race — circling her racer to check for anything awry, giving a last minute tightening to the wiring on the thruster relays, ensuring the energy binders that kept the engines in sync were humming at the correct frequency and the repulsors calibrated for their terrain.

It was only the sound of Valery’s jesting voice cracking over the noise of the racers' engines that finally forced her out of her pre-battle daze, her keen gaze snapping up to meet Valery’s as the feeling of that old competitive fire finally flickered to life within her core before it slowly began to spread.

The bud of her full lips began to tug upwards in amusement, finally sliding into the cockpit and fitting an additional powerpack into the sleeve of the control panel before flipping the switch to the ON position.

“We’ll see who eats who's dust.” Briana retorted, her chest slightly puffed and a less than lady-like snort exhaling out her nose.

A quick, surveying glance was passed towards Aris as she fitted her old helmet over her head, securing the strap beneath her chin and pulling down the goggles. “You all set kiddo?” she asked, flexing her fingers to stretch the old leather gloves. “Make sure you pay attention Aris, you’re about to witness a lesson in humility.”

Hopefully, she wouldn’t be the recipient of that lesson.

Racers took their positions. Energy binders were engaged, powerful electromagnetic currents arcing between coaxial plates, locking the twin engines of the Podracers together until the booming rumbles of the engines mingled with, and then overwhelmed the roar of the crowd that’d come to spectate.

Flag bearers and pit crews moved hastily aside to clear the start line, the red light overhead blinking in a slow count down that held them in place, until finally…

Inhaling a deep, steadying breath, Briana gunned her engine the second that starting line flashed bright green.

The race was on.

Ko had been involved with extensive environmental welfare programs before back in the agricultural corps. But proper terraforming was always something that eluded him. He knew that they were massive efforts that could have countless unforeseen consequences. There were other Jedi here as well, engaged in various activities across the planet.

Desertification couldn’t really describe what had happened to Gholondreine-β. Since the world was covered in vast oceans the arid land was covered in salt as well. Creating a much greater hazard for terraforming than evening radiological fallout. It was likely impossible to bring the world back to how it used to be nearly a thousand years ago. The consequences of malicious abuse, and of an anthropocene left unchecked.

Still though, Ko figured he could put his tree-hugging expertise to use here. Also learning of some efforts to create biodomes. However, the Kel-Dor felt a bit of unease over the knowledge that two subsidiaries companies by the names of “Pharma-Tech” and “Mara Tibx & Fuel” were involved with this. The name alone reminded Ko of PharmCorp back on Nubia. A powerful local company that he never thought too highly of. Given how much it seemed to meddle and worm its way into many aspects of life on the agricultural planet. So Ko viewed the companies here on Gholondreine-β with some suspicion. Doubting that there was much in the way of humanitarian concerns with their operations here.

Currency Ko was returning to one of the MaraTibx Detox and Research Stations on a landspeeder along with a helpful protocol droid. The pair have gone out to survey areas that could prove easier to detoxify for the quicker establishment of new biomes. Once they arrived at the research station the droid spoke up. “Goodness, Sir, I think a thorough cleaning might be in order. The high salt content here is wrecking my frame with corrosion. I was not designed for this kind of climate.”

“Oh don’t worry, you still look brand new to me.” Ko replied with a sly chuckle at the irony of his statement. Before stretching his arms some. “Ugh, I wouldn’t have imagined driving in a straight line for hours across a salt flat would be so daunting.”

“I fail to see the humor in your statement Sir. I only tell you this because I know you’re incapable of seeing the amount of rust I’ve already started to accumulate.” The worried protocol droid said back.

As the pair walked along the perimeter of the station Ko noticed another individual and hailed them. “Hello and good afternoon!”

“It’s evening, actually…” The droid muttered in response to the blind Kel Dor.

“We just got back from surveying some of the soil contents. You know who we can speak with to show our findings?” Ko explained as they approached the redheaded woman. His wardrobe clearly indicated his background as a Jedi. Wearing light, loose fitting robes that were decently fitting for the arid environment.

Efret held back only the better part of her chortle. Vera was too far away for her to see herself, but through Nirrah's eyes, the master could read the padawan's lips.

That wasn't a low vision joke but it was still unintentionally funny. Still, Master Farr chose not to reply to Vera's first question literally.

"A bit of both. It's fun to completely guess and check sometimes," she admitted. But when checking often meant hours of back-breaking work, the fun it could be was limited. "Most often, I use psychometry."

She then extended one arm and clicked her tongue, something she had learned to do from a Hearing guide animal trainer. Nirrah, knowing the cue, jumped from Efret's shoulder onto her forearm. She herself came to a stop, lowered her arm and gently, but firmly, flung it upwards.

The convor took to the air, aided by the generated momentum threading through the feathers of her wingspan. She gave an excited screech as she circled above the trio and then began to travel northwest.

Efret looked from the sky to where she remembered Vera to be. She could only see parts of the girl now, broken by the blotches of blind spots. "You won't, at least not by yourself. There will be no headaches or seizures for you today. Master Edo, may I?" She held out her left hand in the direction of his arm, wanting to hold onto it.

Elias nodded with a smile, amused by his mental answer to the young Noble’s question: “Luck.”

Vera Noble Vera Noble was just like her mother in many ways, but in many more, she was her own little person. Elias was glad to have tagged along to Gholodreine, even if it was yet another sand-swept dust ball. “You’ve got to start picking planets with some beaches,” he jested to Efret Farr Efret Farr with a chuckle. The beads of sweat on his forehead might have suggested otherwise, but Elias really didn’t mind.

He also didn’t mind offering a helping hand to Efret, quite literally in this case. Elias raised his arm for her to loop through and matched her pace so she was comfortable. “Sending a scout?” he half-asked, half-signed.

I’m eager to see what’s out there, and for her to be a part of finding it,” he said, nodding to Vera. Elias remembered what it was like to be a curious Padawan hungry for adventure. Everything was worth investigating, observing, understanding.

It certainly slowed down the older Jedi, but perhaps that was the point.

"Woah!" Vera exclaimed with a little bounce when she watched Nirrah fly up into the sky. She always loved animals, especially when they acted as close companions. Efret had her trusty friend in Nirrah, and Vera had her Racyon, Fuzzy, waiting for her at home. She would have brought him along, but he didn't like the heat.

So she'd never force him to.

"What do you guys think we can find out here?" Vera asked after they answered her questions. For every answer they had, the excitable little Noble had 10 more questions to ask. "Maybe a Temple? Artifacts? Ancient robots that shoot lasers with their eyes?" She flashed them a grin and continued to bounce along.

Though, she did look back curiously when Efret hooked her arm into Elias'.

Interesting.

Sending a scout?

She nodded and replied, "It's not like I can do it." She grinned at him. "But I can most definitely take us to a beach next time. Have you been to Rishi? There's an aquatic timber monument called Razorback Holme. Colloquially, it's known as Seahenge." She thought that just the name and general description might be interesting to him given his background. She did also hope that he knew that, even in a new biome, they'd still encounter a good deal of sand. "It's..." She trailed off, drawing her fingers towards her palms. "I'll tell you if we go."

She turned her attention to Vera. "Come close, my dear. I can't see you."

Though she hadn't been able to lip read Vera's most recent questions, Efret was able to guess given the direction of the general conversation. "At most sites, an archeologist isn't promised any discoveries. But here? We are, and without much digging at all." She glanced over to Vera, who was as tall as her. "That's not a good thing. Emperor Palpatine once once ordered the desertification and poisoning of this planet. Without water, soil formation almost stops. There's a little caused by wind, but mostly wind only relocates what already exists."

She paused, hoping to allow for processing time. "Which means that the biotoxin levels in the soil is about what is was in 10 BBY. So we're digging with two sets of gloves each." There would also be no chemical burns or accidental bioaccumulation for any of them today.

Silas smirked and slowly shook his head from the comment regarding his driving skills. Next time he'd let him drive, just so he could see how bad of a driver he was...

Folding his arms, he quietly scanned the distance and took in the aura the planet radiated. He could feel generations of history, hidden away from their curious eyes below layers upon layers of sand. It was where they were going, a secret that had only been revealed through time alone "More than you could ever imagine" the knight replied before looking in the direction of where Cailen was pointing out. Silas quickly motioned the binoculars away and nodded to the hole close by.

"Don't get too ahead of yourself, we're not just going after anything"

Silas walked to the slopped sandy entrance of the forgotten temple and stopped to look back at Cailen "Believe it or not, our destination has been under our feet all this time" he said with a brief smile as he walked further down under an archway. Almost instantly, he felt an unusual sensation come over him as if something had been left void inside of him.

He brought a hand up to his face and slowly scrunched it in reflection. Down here, the force could no longer be with them.

"It appears the force has been nullified down here. We will have to rely on our physical ability and intelligence alone"

“Hello and good afternoon!”

“It’s evening, actually…” The droid muttered in response to the blind Kel Dor.

“We just got back from surveying some of the soil contents. You know who we can speak with to show our findings?”

Danger's head turned towards the greeting, her feline green eyes settling upon the tall, robed figure of a Kel-Dor. Well, well, Danger mused, her eyes surveying a slow and steady appraisal of the intrigue of said robes from head to dusty boots; what do we have here?

One didn't have to linger in assessment to recognize that the Kel-Dor in front of her was a Jedi. A Knight or a Master at that, seeing as how there wasn't a padawan beaded braid to be seen hanging anywhere form the crown, neck, or belt of the Kel-Dorian's ensemble.

"Well, well, didn't think I'd be seein' a Master Jedi makin' their rounds this far into the salt plains," Even with the mask, there was no hiding the way Danger's voice would float over to Ko Vuto Ko Vuto in a throaty rasp, her drawl a thick, seductive intone as sweet as Kashyyykian molasses and as sultry as their summer nights.

"Afternoon, there, Master Jedi," Danger would add, a full-hipped walk slowly ambling over towards the Kel-Dor and the droid. "I bid you welcome to MaraTibx's detoxifying research station" She held out her hand in greeting; friendly, cordial, and as inviting as a true Southern systems woman would be to a gentleman caller.

"Reckon I could help you with those findin's." she explained, then introduced herself, "Names Danger."

I’d pay to see that!” Elias jested. He cast Efret Farr Efret Farr a playful glance, adding, “Vera wants to dig up killer droids with laser-eyes.” It was quite a funny scene to imagine, but on a serious note, he was grateful for Efret’s knowledge of Gholondreine’s history; without her, he and Vera Noble Vera Noble would surely have cut their expedition short to go and doctor up the chemical burns that awaited their ungloved hands.

I’ve got my eye on her,” he went on to say reassuringly, hoping Efret would rest easier knowing that she could rely on Elias to be her sight while Nirrah was overhead. “Rishi sounds lovely,” he added. “I had an opportunity to go during the Mandalorian Crisis, but it wouldn’t have been for sightseeing… things were tense back then. I was sent to Rodia instead, then to Ryloth.

It dawned on him then that most of his travels had been determined by the twisting beckons of war. In fact, until recently, Elias couldn’t recall a time when he visited a new system or planet under the pretense of anything other than war. Even his recent movement between Bogano and Dagobah, the two places he considered to be just as much a home as Genetia, had been in response to a Sith invasion. Gholodreine-β was a welcome change of pace, and perhaps Rishi would be too - especially if Efret could accompany him.

A small smile formed on Elias’ lips as he considered it. Few things in the galaxy compared to a good beach and Efret’s company.

When Efret asked her to get closer, Vera did so immediately. She knew that the Jedi Master's vision was a bit limited and that it was easier for her to understand someone else if she could lip-read. Vera had just briefly forgotten in all of her excitement to be out here! But now that she stood closer to the two Jedi Masters, Vera did her best to listen and it proved to be a very good idea. Efret had looked into the planet's history and suggested some extra precautions.

Without it, they could get chemical burns.

"Is it possible to heal the planet?" Vera asked curiously. "If it was poisoned once, it should be possible to remove the poison again, right?" She pondered the question and sighed. She didn't know how to do that or where to even begin, but it didn't sit right with her that this planet was left the way it was now.

A Jedi would do something about it!

Vera then turned her attention to the two Jedi Masters and smirked, "Are you two going on vacation together?" She asked after their mentions of Rishi and beaches.

"That's cute." She looked between them with an innocent smile, but her Mom's mischief sparkled in her eyes.

The voice that responded to him had caught Ko off guard. It sounded surprisingly familiar to him. Mainly her accent, to the young knight it was very ‘outer rim-esque’. Reminding him of the way some folks spoke back on Nubia. Primarily the more well-off types that owned lots of land and large white houses out in the arable plains across the world. Despite some of the world's unsavory elements. Hearing this woman’s voice had Ko feeling a pang of nostalgia for his time there in the agricultural corps. Where the culture was like a small slice of the outer rim in the galactic Core. It even had its Hutt influences in the government.

“Oh well um, I guess I was just one of the more qualified members of the NJO to help out around here. Although I’ve never really participated in a more comprehensive terraforming effort.” Ko replied, in a somewhat humble manner. Since biosphere reconstruction projects weren’t really his speciality and just wanted to help out where he could while the NJO had their sights on the planet. That it’s before moving their gaze to other worlds along with the Galactic Alliance. His own accent is a bit mixed to say the least. There were hints of its rural development, in more of a ‘hillbilly’ sort of way. Not the same southern drawl as who it was that she was speaking with. Then again Basic was his second language and he was speaking through the microphone built into his vital anti-ox mask, which naturally distorted his own voice. Alls os that his words could be carried beyond the faintest of whispers in the hazardous atmosphere.

Noticing the hand reached out to him in greeting, Ko would extend his own clawed digits out to give it a quick shake. “I’m Ko, Ko Vuto of the New Jedi Order.” The Kel Dor Knight introduced himself in kind. “Danger…” He repeated to himself before adding. It was rather unique and a tad familiar. “You have quite the intrepid sounding name Miss.” Ko finally commented.

However, barging through the pleasantries was the protocol droid that accompanied Ko as it stepped closer with stiff movements. “You can help us with our findings. This is good to hear. We found promising locations in the salt flats of higher elevations. Where there was a notable deduction in sodium chloride levels. Likely old underwater plateaus when this was all oceans. Master Vuto and I have reason to believe these could be prime locations to develop new biodoms.” The protocol droid explained. Quickly trying to cut to the chase and satisfy its own programmed instincts to be a busy body. “Of course I have stored the specifics of our Geo-topographical finds within myself for safe and secure transfer of data.”
