DESCRIPTION
Looking to create a vibroblade after the traditions of his home planet Stewjon, Gerwald Lechner undertook the process of forging Bearclaw. The construction itself is simple, utilizing standard vibrosword/blade components, and durasteel for the blade. Where Gerwald spent most of his time was the shaping and fashioning of the handle.

Featuring a brass bearhead, Gerwald took the time to design and mold the details to express the aesthetics of Stewjonian culture. Having a fascination with wildlife and a pantheon of gods which were taken from nature itself, the knife quite accurately represents something which would have come out of a traditional smithy.

The blade itself features a hammered finish which gives it a more rough and rustic look despite the more technological components which cause the blade to vibrate and conduct a sharp edge. Because Gerwald is not extremely knowledgeable about electrical currents and the intimate workings of them, the generator itself has the potential to overload and short out.

At least it looks pretty...
