- Laser Beam: The CC-5000 has the ability to produce a continuous laser beam capable of cutting through armored targets. This beam can be sustained for 10 seconds at a time, before it needs to cool down.
- Retractable Bayonet: For melee combat, the CC-5000 features a retractable blade underneath its barrel. This is not intended for outdated charging tactics, but for personal defense against close range attacks. This blade can also be removed completely, and wielded like a dagger.
- Miniature Targeting Computer: The CC-5000 has a miniature targeting computer built into its scope system. This allows the blaster to partially autocorrect for poorly-aimed shots, and extends its effective range.

The CC-5000 is the Pyke Syndicate’s latest model of blaster rifle, replacing the reliable but outdated A-300 as the Syndicate’s primary blaster rifle. The CC-5000 has been introduced to most of the Syndicate’s infantry units, with the exception of those with certain specialties such as underwater combat, or those considered to be of minimal importance. The blaster itself glows a menacing red color when powered on, and looks appropriately deadly. The populations of Pyke-occupied planets certainly know to fear the weapon, and the destruction it can inflict. Many of the Syndicate’s more recent conquests have been achieved through this blaster’s use.
